For the country i think it is very hard but individual people it can because not all people in the countries can access bitcoin since poor people can not afford to but gadgets and they will prefer to buy foods to live longer.

Yes that's the main problem for those poor countries they don't even know how to use some gadgets such as computer, laptops and other things with is associated with technology. Because their education system is not even reaching those people who are really in need for many of them are living in depressed area.
i do not know how you define poor people or a poor country, but you have some misconceptions about that. you do not need to be educated to use those technical gadgets and you do not need much money to buy them. i think you are thinking of the super extremely poor, but they are just a minority.

I'm not having some misconceptions with that, I'm just pointing out the real actions and that's happening for those poor countries. Education is needed to use gadgets because it is now being used by many schools all over the world and what I'm pointing out is those people living in poor countries aren't able to touch gadgets and they need to spend their money just to be able to survive by buying foods also because they are living far from the city, I'm talking about the depressed area, where there is no electricity, no light, no power, no internet.
there are not many places left where people live with no electricity, no light, no power and no internet. and in the most cases they live in such places by there own choice. only the absolute porest of the poor live in such conditions and there are relatively few of them. you would be surprised about the technology poor people are using.

Are you sure about that? Maybe you should to watch some documentaries about those people friend. They are many of them and they are really considered as the poorest people in the world. It is not their own choice to live there, because they were born there and they grew up with that type of community.
I knew this thread was brought in other to make bitcoin change the world wholly but I don't know it was brought up basically becasue there are some geniune countries which still have the issue of no light, internet etc. And it seems like you did know the countries. Can you specify?

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?
No taxes from the government that makes the movement bitcoin quickly from person to person  Cool)

For the Asian continent.
-very very help poor and developing countries, due to the widespread use of the Internet for all its territory, so no problem for them to rely on Bitcoin for their needs.

For the continent of Africa and Oceania
-Bitcoin was very helpful though some are still in the HYIP circles and referrals ponzy.

In India, bitcoin can have another benefit. People earning some bitcoins over the internet have a lot more value than to europeans. So having a people earning bitcoins means that more money stays in a country. And its the amount of money circulating in those economies makes people rich or poor. Knowledge is essential as well, especially if its a knowledge about economy and internet. Bitcoin may help those people have motivation to learn about an internet.
i am not sure about bitcoin staying within a country. if you want to do something for the economy, then bitcoin or money in general needs to be earned and spend in india. the question is do you have enough possibilities to spend your coins in india? buy food, pay rent etc?
but you made another good point. the pay is the same for all countries, but in poorer countries it will be more compared to the average income. so people from those countries will have a bigger incentive to learn about the technology so they can make money with it.

The thing is you will only earn if you have the skills to do the job or the skills to make money using your investment. However, in poor countries most of them are not into online which is a hindrance for success to hep them since bitcoin is only done online. It cannot help the majority of the population but could help some of the smart poor citizens like what you've mention the earners.

Depends how poor. If so poor they cannot afford a phone then no. If one person fpr every few has a phone they can share then maybe bitcoin can help them.
Bitcoin is definitely not created for the poor ones, the fact that it's online and most of the poor people are computer illiterate so that would make them hard to adopt with bitcoin. It's a currency and the only benefit they might enjoy is the low transaction fees, however for now bitcoin is not so popular as an alternative remittance to help the poor.
Bitcoin doesn't have to be used by those illiterate poor people directly. If you spend your coins on building a hospital or a school we could say that bitcoin has helped the poor, right?
If smart bitcoiners start getting involved in charity, but not by giving them coins directly, but organizing courses to teach them hygiene and other useful things it will change their lives.

There are different levels of poverty, sometime ago I read that about 2 billion people in the world live with less than 2 dollars a day do you think someone can afford Internet or electricity with that amount of money? Poverty is a lot more widespread than you may think.
2 billion is about the amount of children running around the earth, so this might be true. as i child i also had less then $2 a day, but access to internet and electricity. i also have been to some poor places myself and i can tell you that a phone is not such an unusual thing to see like one would expect.

They were already updated with the modern technology, I don't even expect them to react the unusual way when they are going to see gadgets. I'm not saying they haven't saw, they might be poor enough but not the poorest. Do you really know what does depressed area means? It is a place like cave, mountains that people are just having something to live by hunting animals to survive.

It is true what you said, in today life I think their are so many ways that even in poor country poor people are able to get at least the internet facility with small recharges. Today their are so many smartphones with low range through which also you can access internet and use this technology

First you need to fight corruption and already starting to talk about charity. And rich countries to allocate aid to poor countries, to the extent that even taking into account that the number of packs of the government.

For me definitely not. Bitcoin or other coins will not help poor countries because to make the country to success people will need a trustworthy leaders and not a corrupt ones.
Leaders don't make a country. If Bitcoin succeeds we'll have a new generation of rich people. People like me and you, who are open minded, read news in the Internet and can't believe what the world is going towards. Maybe when the world starts using Bitcoin on a large scale we'll be able to change something by investing our coins in the right places.
If the government is not enriched at the expense of their people and did not steal anything from the treasury to the last penny, then any country could well exist, and people would live in prosperity.

I do not think Bitcoin can somehow help poor countries, because even enough of an explanation that the currency you want to make yourself, and each user their belonging Bitcoins.
In poor countries, people need to organize training. Only education and learning new skills can lead the country to a crisis rather than return Bitcoin is not clear to whom.

The issue is highly complicated. Problem with those countries is such that the money is sucked away as a debt, corruption, selling for pennies on a dollar and such.

On one hand bitcoin cant help those countries, because the people does not have any means to own the bitcoins. It might help the middle class of those countries. If it would exist there.

Bitcoin could only help for a money not to disapear but firstly this money would have to be there possibly borrowed on low interest. For a success there should be some investment fund that would have a goal of creating middleclass in those countries and they would use bitcoin.

What would be ideal is to create an investment fund managed by the imigrants from that country that want  to go back to their mothersland.
