It's a good idea, all people will be easy to send money so that aid to poor countries be receive directly. From the other side of the economy can also be utilized for the mining venture bitcoin.

Bitcoin as a form of earning has supported most users from third world countries to fulfil their daily needs as well to grow bigger with better living standards.

I assume you are talking about people earning Bitcoins with signature campaigns? If so, then it's a great thing that it can help them in their daily lives, but what if at some point these signature campaigns are not allowed anymore? It's not a likely scenario, but what if? How will people without any useful skills earn coins? Earning around $1-$2 per day farming faucets and captcha sites for the entire day?

In my view, country that adopts bitcoin will easily get out of their poor economic situation in a very short time.

Impossible. Every year there is (supposedly) billions of dollar in form of donations going to countries in need of help, but in all the years nothing has happened. In fact, things have become worse. Put that against a few individuals making $10-$20 per week, how on earth will this get an entire country out of its misery? If the incentive for improvement isn't coming from the governments there, then it will never happen.
there is a big difference between donation and earning bitcoin, donation is the amount that you give free to the people according to  your own choice bitcoin can only provide you opportunity to earn it using different method according to their skill and experience.

Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

Bitcoin does not help the poor countries but Bitcoin are great helped to those people who are difficult to meet the basic needs of their  daily life. Just like me I live in a poor country and i grab the opportunity of having bitcoina in my life because i believe that it might be helpful to me and my love ones.
That is what it mean by helping poor countries ,helping the people out living in third world countries and i am sure that bitcoin will change the future if they are aware of bitcoin and knows how to increase the potential by investing and trading you could get a good amount of profit since it is a real volatile market

Bitcoin is not some kind of magic pill that can solve all the problems of the world but it can help individuals to protect their financial freedom.

When Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin, the real intention was for Bitcoin to become this "magic pill". He hoped that Bitcoin will end the exploitation by the banking cartels. Still a long way to go, but if Bitcoin becomes popular, then it is going to be very bad for the banksters.
Even if bitcoin can help solve a lot of problems it cannot possibly solve all the problems and since bitcoin is such a new technology there is the possibility that new problems arise which are unexpected to everyone.

Bitcoin can only solve some monetary problems of people living in poor countries by providing them a chance to earn an extra income from internet if they can get to know it or if they have access to internet and computers, otherwise bitcoin can be of no use for them unless it becomes useful in physical world.
You're right Aamir and it seems like Omega weapon did not understand the situation cos in the real world money can not solve all problem and so is bitcoin. But, bitcoin will only give the poor countries something like a new link or means of earn money, collecting to the world etc.
You may be right that not all the problems are solved by money but still I am seeing that a lot of problems are issues are due to the lack of money and that is why these poor countries are far back in the run of development and they do not have any facility to live their life with happiness. If bitcoin come to their lives then these people can earn international salaries in their own countries and can stand like other nations.

I wonder how could a country stand with bitcoin when it does not contribute to tax collection of the country.  Remember bitcoin has no tax unless regulated in the third party exchange of course, and government need this tax to develop and improve their country so they can stand like other nations.  A handful of improved lives that is not paying tax to the government is no help at all. It is just a self financial earning upgrade.

To help the needy created organizations such as the OSCE, the UN, Red Cross and other international organizations, including the IMF, which should deal with this issue, as there are funds and the state that it's funded. But apparently they just talk talk, but a matter of no one does.

Bitcoin cannot help a poor country. I have the following reasons which I would like to site:

Low Internet access - If people cant access internet how will they even know about bitcoin let alone do transactions through it.
Low Security measures - totally insecure to them since they have very low knowledge
Low Fees for miners - This will hurt miners
Low usage - People in poor countries are "Poor" - they need more time to work hard and earn Fiat, since they are poor they would never accept bitcoin as primary source of money and would never believe that it is secure as well.
yes. i agree with your top reason sir, the low internet access.. basically, how can a certain person engaged himself to bitcoin if he doesn't have the access to the internet due to not having an extra money to have an Internet connection. we all know that bitcoin needs an internet connection. it needa network, you cant generate bitcoin without having an internet.
This is really a great response to this whole topic. We need the most important thing is the internet. Otherwise, what can be Bitcoin without the Internet. A poor country that can not provide at all.

I think the problem there is only internet access.  This is the main problem of people adding to the availability of gadget or tools to use bitcoin.

Doesnt Bitcoin even work on Pi
They wont be mining but then its been a while since I was 'allowed' to do that myself.  Its usable even in basic equipment, mostly its needing an ok electricity supply I think.   All you can hope is they have solar power access if not a good network and basic Pi doesnt take much so its feasible I think.
Somalia has DSL services for example

First of, bitcoin is not a job, so how can you tell it can help people with their basic needs.
Bitcoin isnt exactly work, its more like that it removes work or makes it alot easier.  The transmission of capital is an enabler for business and work possibly and that means employment for some that might not have a good means of communication to the wider world otherwise.   It needs 1 place to act as a hub and transmitter for that community, even in our rich countries it wasnt out of living memory that only some parts had radio and they shared.  They made do and it was a community resource, thats all that needs to happen.   Bitcoin can be a resource and provide utility of basic finance, that is a useful thing for those isolated especially I think

Can bitcoin help poor countries, in a very small way I think so and from there they can possibly build to more.  A spark of hope for sure imo
My information such that Bitcoin will not be able to help poor countries. Even if implemented in their financial system blockchain technology, it will not work. If officials do not want to work, they will not help anybody.

First of, bitcoin is not a job, so how can you tell it can help people with their basic needs. All we can do here to earn a decent amount of money is investing and that involves risk, what if they lose, do they have something to spend for their daily needs?

Definitely bitcoin is one best of investing assert now a days, i hope poor countries cannot afford to buy bitcoin because they don't have proper internet connection, bitcoin is digital currency where you have to buy with your own currency, for that you need to convert your original currency into bitcoin. I hope there is no exchanges in those countries also may be. There are lot more problems in those poor countries.
They will be help is some ways, but investing not really? What they need is to have an income and to lessen their expenses. They need money for their daily needs and they work for it, but with bitcoin how can they earn when they cannot afford to invest. Maybe we can help then on transaction online to lessen the charges.

I think the state will not receive any advantage although they adopted bitcoin, unless they also adopted a population and then start using bitcoin, and earning bitcoin, I think it could help poor country

Poor people does not mean not intelligent and not capable of learning.  It is the same as when you are starting to use bitcoin.  There is alot of room for them to learn bitcoin. Unless you are saying you are far superior than any human being.

Low Fees for miners - This will hurt miners

I wonder how you relate miners to the poor country.  Anyone who is using a light wallet automatically have default tx fee.  So i think this does not weigh much.

Low usage - People in poor countries are "Poor" - they need more time to work hard and earn Fiat, since they are poor they would never accept bitcoin as primary source of money and would never believe that it is secure as well.

This is fallacy, since they are poor, they will do anything that is not illegal to get money, and bitcoin is one of it.  I am poor but i accept bitcoin as payment to my service and goods.  So my statement here proves you are wrong.
