Be patient dear friends. Now is not the time for altcoins. But it should come soon. At least I hope so
The major bull run for altcoin I think will come if bitcoin reaches $15k-$20k or more than that. We got some bad weather again for the market and no one is exempted for this. I wouldn't want to discourage an investor that has most altcoin on his portfolio but it should be time for you to start stacking up bitcoin while it's cheaper today. You can recover your big losses with alts through bitcoin once it has recovered again, there will be reports that there are altcoins that has much larger gains than bitcoin but it's the safe place in the market.
This is the hope that every altcoin holders have, when bitcoin moves higher to $15k the growth will get ignited. How real this gonna happen is unknown. From 2017 every year is predicted to be the year of altcoins. Further no year has given good growth, particularly 2018 was termed to be the year of ethereum, to the expectation it served to be the worst with the price falling low continuously. This year the growth of bitcoin over the past few months was good, followed is the growth of altcoins but the difference between the growth level is very large. Hope this gets moving with equal growth over the falling weeks.
since the beginning of this year. bitcoin dominance has tremendously affected the altcoin markets. when bitcoins raises, altcoin move very slowly but when it goes down. altcoins are heavily affected. Are we going to see any major bull market for altcoin again. we are already in the third quarter of the year. i am concerned because i strongly believed in altcoins more than bitcoin.
do not trust too much what we do not know for sure ... just wait until the time comes ... we are all waiting for the altcoin price to peak ... even though the altcoin price is still below but we all believe that the altcoin will go up ... and we too have to wait until the bitcoin price is stable on the market.
Many predict that the Altcoin season will shine again at the end of the year 2020 or 2021, I also believe it will happen. So better we collect some potential altcoins now in order to be able to benefit in the future.
I cannot make predictions, because we do not know what will happen and how the market conditions for that year. except if there are announcements from all countries in the world legalizing crypto and making regulations related to crypto growth and circulation in the country. it will be big news.Cryptocurrency always provides surprises that cannot be predicted by everyone. many people give their opinions about the increase in market prices, of course it is only an uncertain prediction because maybe after many people thought the market price will rise, the market situation actually turned down. therefore we are free to issue opinions and must remain optimistic if in the future some potential altcoins will experience a very sharp increase

situation not looking good it will also be a nightmare for altcoin. The only way is that Bitcoin is sideways and altcoin is pumped, but perhaps the whales will not let things happen soon

the question is not IF but WHEN. but that is like the lottery not predictable. it would be funny if everybody knew when it would happen.

There will never exist an altcoin season like the one of 2017. Why? Because by that time, BTC predominance was 55%. Now it's 66% and increasing. This means many many people are leaving altcoins and investing directly into BTC.

I don't know altcoins have a season but to answer your question, this season you talking about might take much longer to start. I suspect that the bitcoin price will have to grow above 20k before the altcoins can start making moves

If you believe the altcoin will have its season again, then you must strengthen your belief in it. Frankly, no one knows what will happen but as long as alts are still there and the development still continues, such opportunity will remain exist. Just be patient!
We will never have altcoin season if we don't have Bitcoin season, they are proportionate with each other. The higher the price of Bitcoin, the greater the market for altcoins also.

"Alt Season" occurs after a bitcoin spike when people cash in on their bitcoin earnings and head over to the altcoins. Thus boosting the altcoin market and then getting a second set of profits. This will be some time after the bitcoin halving.
As long as the market continues this way, the answer will unfortunately be negative. But if the market could gain some stability, the answer could be positive. On the other hand, I think that this situation is not very possible in the near future if we need to comment on today's market conditions. Certainly, certain crypto currencies will prove itself and make the investor happy despite this volatile market. But it is very difficult to analyze them or find out which one is at this time. Let's see what kind of process awaits us.
It will come, but at first Bitcoin bull market has to start and now it seems that Bitcoin is going back in times and we are back in bear market. Not a good sign for altcoins.
