We have a Bitcoin pizza day,which is a really great moment in the history of BTC and maybe one of the most remarkable moments ever.I think this is like the national celebration day but for BTC,so in my opinion if there should be a bitcoin day that is the one.I always feel trembles when I open the thread with the pizza order

I would like to call upon entire bitcoin community to make a bitcoin commemorative day also.
Something like World Bitcoin Day.
I hope this will bring bitcoin to more attention.

I don't think this is really matter for bitcoin, but we already have bitcoin day on 3th January as the first time when bitcoin launched and the genesis block was mined, don't you know about it? We've many 'great days' along bitcoin journey but I don't know which one is the best so far, regarding bitcoin price and mass adoption may become the major consideration for bitcoin best day. I would like to call upon entire bitcoin community to make a bitcoin commemorative day also.

Calendar is filed with more weird and useless commemorative days, compared to them bitcoin seems more fitted to be remembered by its own mini-holiday.Most of these commemorative days are unknown for anyone besides hardcore geeks anyway. With proper promotion bitcoin's day can be the real deal in the future.
Especially if we can offer some kind of promotion on that day, for example goods will be offered at very reduced prices if you purchase them with BTC.
I think bitcoin pizza day is as good as it gets to have it as a disguise of the proposed bitcoin day, besides we don't need debates on what day to set it on. Calendar is fully booked!

Yeah, It has to become a little more mainstream. Japan is regulating bitcoin soon and making it legal method of payment in a couple of months. At least 10 countries should do this before I say that bitcoin has become mainstream. Then we can have bitcoin day. througout society, because i do. even though i agree it will bring lots of attention to the currency but in order for it to get something like ' Bitcoin Day' it needs to be
really famous.
So technically if something like bitcoin day is made bitcoin will get really famous but in order to get something like bitcoin it should
be more famous than the current status. So technically bitcoin day won't make any sense.
I really think that is a very good idea. Bitcoin is their century most important development so it makes sense to have a special dedicated day to celebrate this new amazing technology invention!
Yes,and it will be a happy day too. If we have a bitcoin day all bitcoin users will gather in a big and wide place to celebrate and to give thanks to bitcoin for all the good things it gave us. Much better if bitcoin day is a holiday.
I see no reason why we could not. There is already so many "stupid thing day" so that our Bitcoin Day is totally possible.

Yeah, that is a good one. Here in our country I do really want to know who is using bitcoin and I want to talk to them. Having that World Bitcoin Day will be a way to socialize with other bitcoin user here. You know, talk about bitcoin not only here in the forum but in the real world. That will be really great seeing the people that you have only seen their usernames in this forum.
yes that will be really helpful, i think it is one of the most best way of introducing bitcoin to those people who do not know any thing about bitcoin. as we celebrate different day like cancer day, like labour day and so many other day through which we give awareness to the people about different issues and event, so if we start celebrating bitcoin day it will really be helpful introducing bitcoin to the people. Its great to had a bitcoin day but in my opinoin its not better to get it today bitcoin is not yet that too popular to those countries and to those countries who just started to use bitcoins we can say that there are countries that already uses bitcoin for their daily living but that's not enough to called a bitcoin day

That's a perfect idea; I actually thought of proposing this too but a friend shot it down and I got hesitant but I'm going to try it this time to give you and all like minded people the support so that we push for a day to celebrate our cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin.

maybe someday we can have a bitcoin day after bitcoin is approve by the most country in the world because if only a few country and its small and medium country then maybe its not famous as the big country is approve bitcoin. we need more people to use bitcoin for daily and we have a lot of to do to make bitcoin really famous and spread in many locations and after this, maybe we can have a bitcoin day and we can celebrate it with other people.
Yes, definitely we should celebrate a day for bitcoin which is helping million of people to earn the daily income and pocket money. and in fact celebrating bitcoin day would help the technology to spread like a wildfire and then everybody would start using bitcoin and such a great technology would rule the planet or at least it will get popularity.
I think that if Bitcoin fulfills its purpose for millions, and probably billions of people, we'll see that happen. There are a number of events related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general that happen every year, so I think it's only a matter of time before someone creates a campaign to encourage others to adopt this idea.

That would be funny. I already see people in the news with the "Make Bitcoin Great Again" hats. It is possible to make a Bitcoin Day as long as enough people from Bitcointalk votes on the day they want and the community stays loyal to whatever choice it is.

Yeah they should just rename or celebrate bitcoin day on the same day. I love the "Make Bitcoin Great Again" Hats. Also the fact that that women got pepper sprayed at UC Berkley. It is a nice idea to have a Bitcoin day, it seems exciting... I want it also so we can celebrate just like an annual event. I think it is a great idea to attract more people to get in touch with BTC, to spread the opportunities and benefits of it.
I think to be able to do this, you need to tend full time on it and you must be experienced enough to do this such skills. I think, people who are capable to do this are traders. This is quite idealistic for us to do more effort in order to get experience to earn more profit. Yet, as online job isn't unpredictable, you can't say you can earn 1 btc a day for example. Maybe you can earn more than 1 btc for a day or less than 1 btc a day, no one can say however it is tangible. Jump to:
