I think it's in the right order to have a Bitcoin day and celebrate it but should it be a different day for all the different countries of the world or a common day like Xmas for all? It should be debated and approved because that's one way we can get to promote Bitcoin worldwide.
i think it will be a very nice idea, i think through this way bitcoin can be introduce in every corner of the world and more and more people will get courage to adopt bitcoin which is too much important for the future of bitcoin.

all I care is about future updates on bitcoin and its uses but if people insist of having a bitcoin day then I hope many people will think of a good activity that can help bitcoin market or an activity that promotes good usage of bitcoin so that people who doesnt know what bitcoin is will be encourage to use it in a good way.
I imagine a big festival in every capital city that adopt Bitcoin, filled with music concerts of famous bands, door prizes & all items offered there using bitcoin payments. It would be very nice if Bitcoin users gathered in the same place.
At least we should really intend to do so, because with "bitcoin day", will attract many people to know more about bitcoin.
Your imaginations are very good and I think it is only possible when government officials want this or united nation announce it. It will not be possible I think if a company or the organizers of any currency wants this so I think it depend upon the popularity of bitcoin itself. Hopefully we can assume that we are going to have one very soon probably once bitcoin hits main stream of adoption. At least we should really intend to do so, because with "bitcoin day", will attract many people to know more about bitcoin.
Its really a nice idea. The world bitcoin day. Really there should be a day like that. So that it will become more popular among the people. More and more will come to know about its advantages and more people will start using bitcoins. In that way bitcoin community will become stronger and stronger and none of the governments or any other external forces can regulate the usage of bitcoin. Yes we like a bitcoin day listed in that list. But how will we know that which is the day of bitcoin. If it possible to find the invention day of the bitcoin? if yes then that day will be better to be a bitcoin day. I like the idea because with that when we will celebrate that day then more people will also know about the term bitcoin and they will search more on internet about the term and then the technology and will adopt it.
yes I also like a bitcoin day in the whole year but as we do not know that who is satoshi and as he is not going to show his identity who is important to suggest the day so I think this community have to decide that which day is the best day for to be the bitcoin day. Yup you got a point there fiat money doesn't need promotion because all people knows about it, and every countries currency doesn't really need a commemoration day cause specifically they don't need to remind it, but bitcoin not all people have an idea towards it and I think a great thing to do on a bitcoin day is to teach some people that doesn't have a knowledge towards it.

That sounds great but who would organize such an event? Bitcoin and cryptos in general don' have a large enough base and considering how decentralized btc is, holding a worldwide event would really be hard.
I think it would be better if there would be a Bitcoin Day and we are going to receive bitcoin, in any amount in our wallet, rather than having an event for all the bitcoin users around the world which is impossible since we are from different countries and it would be very hassle to have this kind of big event because it would need a big amount of money to throw up an event like this.
I think the idea to celebrate a bitcoin day is a great one. It is not necessary that free bitcoins to be transferred to every wallet as this will be rather impossible task, but to have a bitcoin day where we have seminars about bitcoin awareness and stuff like that, will be a great help to bitcoin and fun for people too.
I think I saw a similar thread yesterday but it's good to have such a day to celebrate and tell the world about this technology and the freedom it brings to everyone's finances.

I think that is the point. Having an annual day for all the Bitcoin community. It will give us some publicity and exposure, merchants can make offers and outsiders will know about the Bitcoin more.

I think giving them a reason to start is the most useful thing for like an advertisement. This is not a hundred percent sure but it could work. Then try to introduce them to more things like trading or just letting their bitcoin stay in their wallets.
