I think it's best to simply ignore the toxic element. They will be deleted.

FYI the current version is actually 0.9.2 but it's completely compatible with 0.9.1. When the ethereum token is ready you'll be informed on the slack and then here.

These broken promises that the troll seems to like mentioning - unfortunately attempting a project of this scale with no access to any premine to start with (see original thread) and no major capital fundraise at inception, means that it has been very difficult to get things done.

Often time it has been necessary to depend on people who for whatever reason have let us all down and this has happened on a number of occasions.

Had we decided to raise money to start with (as we saw it acting for the benefit of a wealthy minority), rather than doing what we did - focussing on spreading the coin out at low value, we would have been able to pay people to get the required tasks done and more importantly not pay them if they held the project up for a month because they were doing other things.

Many lessons learnt and no doubt many more to come.

And from the above post it's obvious that axismundi and carboncointrust are actually the same person, even though they claim to be different. If he continues to delete my comments, I will take this to Facebook and start a scam accusation thread. If he answered questions there would be no reason to delete comments.

This coming February, the Carbonchain will have been running for 4 years. Payment confirmations on our network are faster than most others, despite a miniscule amount of energy consumption.

The wallet at the core of our benevolent operations, containing coins to be released responsibly when the market capitalisation justifies it, remains untouched as can be clearly read from our blockchain.

Pretty general clearout of the thread there. If there was nothing wrong with your post and it got deleted accidentally then apologies. There is still more cleaning to be done.

This thread is self-moderated for a reason, and moderated it will be.

The thread is not the only thing we're clearing out:

Carboncoin should be owned by people who want to help because they disagree with unnecessary energy consumption and value activities which contribute to, instead of detract from, securing the long term survival of life on this planet.

We've been making good progress on the ethereum tokens. We've made it so that all of our supporters will be able to exchange their holdings for tokens secured on the ethereum network while the fundraising offering is completed and the new network built, tested and deployed.

To anyone wishing to join us and get some coins, doing so through the forthcoming ethereum token sale is the best way to ensure your funds go towards enabling us to achieve what we set out to do.

The transition we have been embarking on is complex, in a rapidly changing environment, but moving the right way. We won't compromise on security or energy consumption, all while doing our best to manage other perceived risks. This means it takes time.

We're going to do an ICO for the new network to make it happen. The swap from old coins to new coins will only be possible when the new chain is up and running.

Right now existing coins can be thought of as a way to get new coins, in addition to the forthcoming ICO token.

The switch will happen after the new blockchain is live, after the ICO is completed.

The ICO will be formally announced with the release of the whitepapers in the coming few days.

The ICO and deployment of new protocol are expected to be completed, and coin switch in progress, by the end of the current year.

The existing network will run for (at least) long enough for all holders to make the switch.

Well it's moderated so it sucks for sure. Anyway do you happen to know who is in charge of the "Environment" wallet? As for the original "dev" - 1000 fks given on his feelings. This coin was/is abandoned and drifting in the sea of numbers for to long. So if someone have balls and motivation to take over and do something about it, its great.
