That's certainly true, mate. Cardano (ADA) is still in development. Yet, it has one of the most prominent developers in the crypto space today. The only thing stopping Cardano from rivaling Ethereum, is its slowness in development and innovation. Considering how this platform is developed in stages (like Ethereum), it's safe to say that sometime in the future, Cardano will be able to compete with Ethereum. Hopefully, with the next phase of launch (Shelley), Cardano could gain some traction across the crypto market.

While ADA is still behind Ethereum in market cap, there's a possibility that it will be positioned next to Ethereum within the future. Considering how many alternative platforms exist today, it's nearly impossible for Cardano to destroy Ethereum by then. Not even Tron, NEO, or EOS have been able to destroy Ethereum despite being highly scalable. Which means, that Ethereum will remain as the leader of decentralized applications for a long time. Just my opinion

yes I think so too Ethereum is currently experiencing a difficult time because it doesn't show significant development, even its position has been shifted by XRP as the best altcoin. if it continues to decline, it can happen.

Are you sure Cardano will beat ethereum? I think that is impossible especially seeing in terms of price is also far away. Besides that, ethereum has a smart platform and is clearly different from the cardano. so in my opinion it was too early for Cardano to defeat ethereum.

Ada is a strong coin no doubt but it does not have the ability to destroy ethereum. There are other stronger coins that cardano is not even up to and they have not gotten to that stage of even competing with ethereum not to talk of destroying it. Its not going to happen. Facts
