If you say it's not fair then I will point this at you and say its your ignorance to accept the terms and conditions without knowing what you are accepting. And its pretty much the same at every casino and it is very rare that you will be asked for verification to deposit funds.
Whether it is fair or not actually depends on the mindset of the gambler himself because having KYC also provides several benefits for both parties between the gambler and the gambling site.
Moreover KYC is always aimed at gamblers to make it easier if problems arise in the future because with KYC the casino team can also be quicker in helping to resolve any problems that occur.

Forget about anonymity because here we are visitors or customers and as much as possible we must always fulfill the requirements requested by the casino if it is important and must be provided.

If you still feel their terms are unfair then you are free to choose the casino that has terms in your best interest. By the way, this is just something created out of frustration arising when you violated their TOS, and now funds are on hold by the casino while waiting for verification in the future don't repeat the same mistake and if you are from a restricted country then take some time to find which casinos are accepting players from your region and you can seek help on bitcointalk too for some valuable feedbacks.

Well that true because in the crypto gambling industry there are also many casino options that may still not require KYC but who knows when making large withdrawal they will ask for it or not and there are also many cases where the casino claims non KYC but when the gambler makes large withdrawal the team asks for it complete verification requirements.
I personally would never think that casinos with KYC verification are unfair and it is better to provide KYC right from the start when registering at such a casino.

If I were to gamble at a casino like this, I would feel like I had been cheated. If mandatory KYC is implemented, the registration form should include a checklist or notes outlining the terms and conditions of agreeing to KYC. It seems like the casino is only interested in taking deposits and doesn't care about their customers receiving their winnings.
Well, this type of behavior is not new, it's something that is very common with a lot of casinos and even most crypto currency exchange.
Even till today, trust me, there are a lot of casinos out there right now where a gambler can easily without kyc verification deposit a hundred thousand dollars, but for some time, and luckily win extra one hundred thousand dollars and ask or request a withdrawal of your entire balance on your account, you will instantly be blocked and asked to go through a kyc verification process, and get verified before your withdrawal request can be processed.

This is something a lot of casinos do and it's clearly a cheat, what if at that point, the gambler doest have the requested documents for the kyc verification, does it mean the casino will seize his or her money for ever?, I call this daylight robbery.
Lolz. This has been a discussion for some times now. The KYC issue is a discussion of time without season. We don't know when this KYC matter will end and the only thing that can end this matter is the faithfulness of the casinos on their dealing with the gamblers. For the cryptocurrency exchange platforms, their KYC is always asked at the sign up process and not at the time of depositing or withdrawing so I like centralized exchange platforms more than casino that ask KYC at the withdrawal time.

But I think that in general it’s probably better to first read reviews about a specific casino that you are unfamiliar with on our forum.  It’s just that here in the “Gambling" section you will definitely find a topic for almost any large casino and in this topic there are reviews and recommendations frm experienced players. Sometimes you can even find separate descriptions of controversial issues that other players have had before. So this approach to the issue of changing casinos seems to me  quite optimal from the point of view of finding out the real situations that the player faces.
This is very useful to do even before the moment when you start sending your money for a deposit to a new casino for you in which you have not played before.
Asking for verification is pretty much common practice on all the crypto casinos if I am not wrong so this won't be really surprising unless the person actually new to the crypto gambling platform and probably trying the first withdrawal of his life. In that case, exploring the bitcointalk won't give the person a solution because we used to know what are the common practices in casinos. So don't skip the terms that you are supposed to read and don't blame the casino if you violated some of the terms without actually knowing.

Not everybody like to do KYC on a casino based on our several idealogy and what we think about KYC. It doesn't make sense when a casino will allow us to register, fund account and play games on the casino without any KYC but when it comes to withdrawal of funds, that is where KYC will be mandatory. This kind of attempt does not make sense at all so we need to make sure that we ask questions about casinos we want to be using before we start using them because those people that had successfully able to make withdrawal on the casino after funding and making winning, that would aid us to know if the casino worth our interest or not.
Some user come from country with gambling or casino site is restrict there and how possibility their respond required with KYC? despite agree or not KYC is mandatory in casino and not eligible withdrawing fund without have KYC. Be fair if interested with casino or gambling have take risk for submitting document ID and if won't accept with all casino regulation keep away from casino and try looking for new casino launching have chance without KYC.
Some casino have legal with their country site build up, there are have regulation from government should or required for user have to pass KYC, its become problem later for casino if not required with KYC and their casino site operation stop if not allow what government regulation there.

Then why they gamble if they know their country is restricted on those casino? with that they might possibly encounter a huge problem on KYC verification since they might get denied since they are playing on restricted jurisdiction. If they know they are not allowed to play much better for them to look for another casino that allow them since its nonsense actually for them to use VPN since KYC will still asked if they win huge amount of money.

That's why its important for us to know the rules of the casino if they are really a zero compliant casino and can able to do that request even if we didn't submit this requirements. We should not act like a fool like we don't know since casino will not forgive us if we tell that word to them.
Plus the fact that if we do speak about the number of casinos that we do have today then we do really have that huge option for us to be able to take considering that there are tons of platforms on which we could really be able to choose and its impossible that you wont really be able to see such particular games if ever you do see on a certain platform and decide to stick despite of those restrictions or prohibitions. It might really that sound funny but there are actually people who are really that ready to violate things just for the sake of their own leisure attempts and wants to
play no matter what and doesnt mind about those prohibitions on which we know that you are actually putting up yourself on huge trouble or risks because once do get caught then you do already
know on whats next on which you would really be having that chance on locking up those account and with those fund inside it and its really impossible to make some arguementation if we do
speak about violation.

Don't ever miss out on something like this, if you really intend to make a deposit at an online casino then the first thing you must know is their rules regarding KYC, don't let them not require it at the start but suddenly require KYC to be done when you want to withdraw your winnings. Apart from that, you also have to pay attention to the country of origin of the gambling site, usually countries that require KYC to be implemented on a gambling site are countries like the US and UK, there gambling is quite supervised, especially online crypto gambling.

Not to go too far,  majority of us here are gambling on casinos that have kyc as a rule but they have never asked us for KYC and that is something we have to take note of when discussing topics related to crypto casino and KYC because there are rules that guide kyc implementations and once the gambler does not violates or go beyond such limts then you are good to go and most time you don't need kyc.

Most of the reputable casinos that we have here in the forum are all into this level of operation on kyc and does not make too struck laws unless if the gambler exhibits some suspicious behaviour to warrant the casino to demand for kyc.

The point is, that almost all of the main centralized gambling platforms would require a gambler to complete their KYC verification at some point, so there is basically no point in leaving one and going to the other only to have the same rules. These days all gamblers should be ready to clear KYC or otherwise should be ready to quit online gambling completely.
-
That makes sense. However, there are casinos that have a policy of not requesting KYC verification unless a user is caught cheating or abusing the system. This practice is more common in unregulated casinos, but it does have some drawbacks. When playing on an unlicensed casino, it can be challenging to take legal actions against them because most of the operators remain unknown if the casino is not regulated. However, it's essential to note that even on licensed casinos, it doesn't necessarily guarantee the safety of your funds.

There are many crypto gambling casinos that implement that, and there is nothing we can do about it once we use their platform to play gambling.
That's right, we use their services and we are the ones who will need to abide by the rules they've created.

Our only choice is not to use the platform so you don't pass kyc to them.

It would be okay to provide Kyc if the casino has been in the crypto industry for a long time, such as stakes, duelbits, and so on.
People who are against the KYC policy are basically not against it because they don't believe the platforms, but they say that it's against their privacy and that is why they don't want to do it. Because, in the recent past, many platforms (not just related gambling) had sold people's private data in the dark web and to marketing giants.

The only way a casino can get away with this is if you decide to walk away because you don't want to pass KYC and I believe that decision is a stupid one, though it depends on how much we are talking about, you won't walk away if its 100k available for withdrawal after KYC verification.

It's delusional to believe that you can gamble on any casino and win a good amount of money without them telling you to pass KYC verification first, I even fear casinos that won't ask you to get your KYC over with first, because they are not to be trusted to me than those that ask for KYC verification.

If you understand the rules of operating a casino you will understand why important KYC compliance is a must for a legal casino, since you now know about this it's better to verify your KYC first before using any online casino, it's easier this way.
Walking away would mean surrendering your money to them which isn't really the rational thing to do even under the circumstances where you can only do the wrong thing. That's your opinion but there are casinos out there that's probably not doing KYC yet still trusted so I don't think it's delusional. As much as I agree with you, if they didn't ask for it the first time, they shouldn't be bothering to ask for it when you're making an exit, it's not like everyone tries to read the T&C of the casino pretty sure everyone just wants to play quickly as much as possible.

You are very right, I have said it here before that it is completely wrong to allow a user deposit and play without kyc, but then upon withdrawal, impose withdrawal on the user, this is very wrong.

But then on the other hand, this can be understood if the user is actually withdrawing an amount that is above the casinos withdrawal limit for non kyced customers, even this is present on some crypto exchanges, some exchanges I've used before and still presently use does allow deposit and withdrawals for non kyced customers, but they sure have a limit to an amount a non kyced user can withdraw, if a user is withdrawing an amount above that limit, the user will be asked to pass kyc verification before such withdrawal can be processed.

That's the point of us researching the casino we want to use for gambling because without that research, we won't know anything about the casino.
And that might give us difficulties later when we want to withdraw money, so we have to prevent that from happening to us.
But as long as we only play with enough money, the casino still allows us to gamble without doing KYC, but later, if we get a big win and want to withdraw the money, we also have to comply with the casino's rules.
And if we really don't like KYC, we really have to look for the right casino so they won't ask us to do KYC but we also have to remember that the rules in casinos can change at any time so we have to be ready for that.

It is simply to attract more users when deposit without needing KYC and then when you withdraw a large amount of money they ask you to do KYC. there is a lot of reason and maybe one of the reason is to proof that you are not one of the casino employees;D.

Some users like me rarely read the Terms of Service of any site I just click the checkbox and go but this is all wrong. You guys should read it carefully haha.

I agree, most of them don't like it. However, in terms of legality, it is a requirement. For certain casinos, it is logical to prioritize the implementation of KYC during the withdrawal process. This is because their objective is to retain customer deposits, especially since many individuals in the cryptocurrency community are hesitant to disclose personal information online.

If you are not a fan on trying to make up some research about ranking or popularity then pretty much sure that you might really be that able to experience those bitter moments or do really suck on the time that you do find yourself getting stucked on a certain platform and realizing that you've been dealing with something new or non famous platforms and realize that you should have done some research first before making any deposits
on which it would really be just that a common behavior for most people specially noobs on directly making out some deposit without reconsideration on checking out on sights reputation and popularity because issues
something like this is something that could really be commonly see on places on which arent really that been known or into those new platforms which does have intention on scamming out depositors.

This is why it would really be that always ideal on sticking with those top ranking or known ones on which you would less likely to experience those issues. If you are really that skeptical towards KYC
then  you could really be always have the options on which places you would really be tending to deal with.We know that there are several platforms which doesnt ask out some KYC
even if you do make out some big hit or win into their platform.I do remember Crypto.games that once you do hit up that number legally or in a fair way then withdrawal
doesnt really ask out something or simply no strings attached and could withdraw no matter how big it is without any problems.
