Today i got unauthenticated by the pool, and xmr send a lot of rejected shares Sad

Could GUI this avoid that?

Any parameter that can i put in the native cast_xmr_vega too avoid this too?

Did you try the latest? It happened to me with 0.8.1, I'm trying now 0.8.5 and it hasn't happened yet but who knows, I'll have to wait a few more days. When it happens if I press 'q' to exit it tries to shutdown but it hangs there and I have to kill it.

yes I tried the 18.1.1. drivers 2 days ago I have a 6 gpu rig althought all six showed up in wattman I could only turn on 4 of the 6 graphics to compute switches and when I ran it in xmrcast I got the blockchain not detected so I gave up after that and went back to the aug-1029 drivers but the reason I was trying it was because my cast xmr keeps crashing I tore my whole rig down and rebuild it but still could not get it to work so I am using stak-amd at the moment while I wait for parts to throw at it to try and fix it, I suspect I am running out of memory. now the xmr-cast has treated me well the last month and half with 3-4 day runs without a crash but something happened and cant figure it out. I was using -- fastswitching and -- forcecompute and it seemed to work but could not tell you why or how and for that socket error I could not get cast to work without a --opencl 2 5 command in there but again could not say how or why it worked I just kept throwing numbers in there till it worked. now the --help command I have never seen it or been able to get it to work a saw a mention of a whitepaper on the fourms here but have not seen it or know where it is but have not looked for it yet .

Can you give me the syntax for the compute option??

I put cast_xmr-vega --forcecompute --fastjobswitch etc... but doens t work...

have you checked if it's due to the quick edit quirk previously mentioned in this thread? You just need to go to the CMD window Properties and disable Quick Edit option, both in the Properties and the Defaults. That's a known fix.

Hi all

I am having a lot of issues with my RX470 rig on the Blockchain drivers. I don't think it's the miners fault that it keeps crashing. I am sure it's the drivers.

So when I install the blockchain drivers, it locks up my MSI AB. I updated to the Beta 19. It unlocks but won't let me alter the memory clock. I generally run stable on 2080 to 2100 mem, but MSI AB won't let me go down to 2080 mem. It just locks.

When I start up CAST, I get wicked speeds. But short lived.

Has anyone had this issue before and if so, how was it fixed?

alas, I didnt. What's your hashrate with the new drivers? Is it as good as with the Blockchain drivers'?

I am currently running 7 vega 64's at 13,930.5 h/s. 4 gpus on one rig and another 3 on the other. using the 1100 powerplay table, registry mod, and overdrive tool. only install the blockchain driver itself NO WATTMAN.

Can you try running each card in a different instance?

Edit your config file and only run card 0
Then edit it again, and run card 1
then card 2 and then card 3

You should have 4 windows.

I had the same problem with 2 cards, low hash rate when run together.
Then I decided to run one card on ETN and the other on XMR, both now get over 1900 when run by themselves.

Interested to know if it works for anyone else

Hi, i tried 2cards each windows mining XMR with cast. it's still the same card running at lower hashrate (~1400H/s).

Anyone here has solution for this case?

Cards attached by risers? Have you swapped it around with the other cards to see if that changes anything?

Update: i run the Red Devil 64(the lower hashrate card) only, it still ran at 1800H/s, then dropped to 1400~ and stable at that number.
Do you meant switching riser to different pcie or switching the card to different riserS?
