Hehe.

You need to wait another week. The new miner uses more power, and some 970 cards are trottleing .Resulting in a lower hashreate. I also have rigs with too weak PSU, and then the rigs are crashing.. Betatesting can sometimes be frustrating. Bether to wait for a working product.

and no linux version i assume? ...

Ok I'm out  Grin, it was fun while it lasted. Thanks for not ruining my donations while ETH was booming  Kiss

Curious why you don't work with SP? Not sure how willing he is to share, but based on what SP has been saying about Eth, he really doesn't want to work on a Eth miner. Genoil is definitely experienced and he's been improving his miner as well.

Genoil could work the Eth backend and SP puts it all together with the other miners on top of it. Maybe like a 1.5%/.5% split or something like that. SP gets 1% normal miner, .5% for Eth... Genoil gets .5% for Eth. Not sure how you'd want to do things. Partnership isn't always a bad idea if you want to split things up and make them better.

BENSAM1231, WHERE IS YOUR CUT? --

I mean, the whole fee miner was YOUR IDEA!  You should get a percentage, too.       --scryptr

Nah... Already talked things out with SP and he's letting me use it for two weeks exclusively before releasing it to everyone else.

COOL DEAL! --

Might be rewarding.       --scryptr

I am testing the miner now on some rigs and found some issues. Decred+etherum use alot of cpu. and 2 core celerons are not enough. On my 4core rigs it just works perfect. I think I need to port the dagger creation code to the gpu.

Claymore-style fee would be great Smiley

He doesn't seem to be angry about how little he's getting paid. Also the amount of dev work he's doing is huge. There is a constant stream of updates coming out for his miner, he's definitely doing it close to full time.

To me it looks more like FCPGA has found where the profit is.

so NOW we know where wolf0 is ...

He's mentioned this a few times over the last couple months and made sure to brag about it.

Agree, would be great if you could pick the coins that go together... more options the better.

Dual miner for nvidia-yes! Was it Bensam or Tbear yelling it for some time?
And, SP: @ what consumtion is that?

this only because nvidia don't have a dual miner, like i've said, otherwise it would be as before

I get 400MHASH of decred for free per gtx 970 in my unreleased dual miner. ETHERUM+decred / etherum +blakecoin

that's around 25% increase, really good, at this point i'm wondering if it is possible to extended it to 3 way mining or more, would be hilarious to mine all the coins at the same time, but something is telling me that this is not feasible...

So far the logic seems to be "memory hard @ high priority & full hashrate" combined with "compute hard @ low priority & low hashrate".

It would be tremendous if we could someday combine a variety of algorithms at different priorities.
For example: it would be quite interesting to see the net result of a miner that would do DCR (compute hard) at high priority along with XMR (memory hard) at low priority.

In fact, just the ability to switch priorities might prove valuable by itself: right now you're focused on Ethereum at high priority with Decred at low priority, but you could just as easily reverse them, and do Decred at high priority and Ethereum at low. The most profitable approach will vary all the time, due to nethash variations for each currency, their respective exchange rate, etc. Just some food for thought...  Roll Eyes

CHOICE OF SECOND COIN? --

So, with your prototype, the miner can choose from at least 2 secondary algorithms?  Perhaps 3?  What other secondary algos might be good candidates for inclusion?       --scryptr

I disagree with almost everything you are saying.
I'm using both GUIs and CLIs for 30 years (20 professionally, as my main job), tens of different operating systems, programming languages and platforms.
I know what I'm saying. Now, stop this useless talk.

Assuming you're thirty and started when you were a toddler, I'm 31 and been using since I was 6 with dos on a Tandy...

Decred has 9.38GHS on it right now, and before Claymore it was 5.1GHS, when it was only mined by Nvidia card holders!

That gives you a really good idea, just how much Claymore been getting through his dual mining software.

they are getting nothing because the diff killed the profit now, so it's the same as before, but since nvidia is out of dual mining play, then you might be slightly right about an overall increase in profit for amd

I must disagree... Decred has around 7TH at the moment.
r9 390 with claymore dual miner makes a little bit more eth than any other miner(even after dev fee) + around 0.5DCR per day.
Basically the ~0.75$/day from dcr covers the power consumption.
In other terms the dcr increases the profit for 23% with actual mining stats.
