1% can be done by closing chrome and disable hardware acc... just saying.

here is a math question:

I have released 78 exe files.
If I have done 1% improvement in an algo in each release. How many percent is the total gain?

...

The answer is  117% gain

And you can not close chrome and disable hardware acc... 78 times to get the 117% gain, you need to code.

I just tested the latest quark kernal from before I started the sp-mod project.

https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-standard/releases

750ti strix:
ccminer12-djm34: 4700
sp-mod priv: 6325 (+34%)

970 g1:
ccminer12-djm34: 10300
sp-mod priv: 17800 (+72%)

960 strix:
djm34: 6600
sp-mod priv: 10900 (+65%)

why are you always showing a quark from one of my release, I never worked on it (kinda ridiculous... imo)  Grin
but I may one day...  Grin

The point is that if I did two releases per year as you do, my kernals would also be 30% faster or more each time I do a release...

dont u basically cherry pick alot of commits from other people also or is quark 100% yours?

Nobody has done a public kernal mod since pallas added 10% in the neoscrypt. If there was something to cherry pick, I probobly would.
Let's wait for the optimized djm34 neoscrypt kernal. Perhaps I can squeze out a few percent.

I just compared the original lyra2v2 from djm34 on my asus strix 750ti

1. https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-lyra/releases/tag/v0.5
2. https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/releases/tag/1.5.78 (opensource)
3. Buyable private miner (0.1BTC) pm for details.

asus strix 750ti:

1. djm34: 4260
2. 78-sp: 4470khash (+4.9%)
3. priv-sp: 4700khash. (+10.3%)

windforce 970 g1:

1. djm34: 9600
2. 78-sp: 9800 (+2.08%)
3. priv-sp: 10200 (+6.25%)

Asus strix 960:

1. djm34: 5750
2. 78-sp: 6100 (+6%)
3. priv-sp: 6330(+10.08%)

Grin ok... so finally it isn't 5% more on every release, but 5% on the total of the 50 releases or so, since I released the private miner.
which, by the way, can already do the number you quote with a little tuning and OC (if my gainward 750ti can do 4.7MH/s there is no reason that
the more powerful 750ti can't...)
Might do a pledge for my fast lyrav2 version which does about 20% faster than your private version  Grin

lyra2v2 came in release 60
10% faster in 19 releases. Around 0.5% per release in average.

is that why my 750ti does 100+mh more then ur "private miner"

With small adjustments this kernal can do 7.2MHASH on this card. Increase TDP and overclock.

With a little tuning the strix is doing 5150 stable with my private kernal.   I have optimized all the kernals in ccminer. Not just lyra2v2. Some just a few percent, others more. Most of my work is free and opensource.
