Hello!


I am make three withdrawals money to Visa card.  Still no get money on card.

What's happening? I've been waiting THREE DAYS. When will I get my money? Why do not you inform customers?

No answer from support.


I am disappointed. Before that, I received money instantly.

Emails are not answered, on twitter I got ignored, and even on here I got Ignored with 2 pending withdrawals worth of €26000+, I asked just 2 simple questions can you please answer my ticket?

I got a response from Finanace Team (Ticket ID: 397454) to double check the incoming transfer (amount and currency) in my local bank. I have again send all details and bankstatement showing I received USD (including USD fee) and not EUR.

As you undersyand I am waiting now almost 1 month for my deposit. I would like to know when I will get the remaining amount.
Please let your finance team double this transaction on your side and you will see that USD is sent and not EUR.........

Got my first withdrawal of 15-11-2017 on 29-11-2017 in EUR (from IBAN: X)
Got my second withdrawal of 16-11-2017 worth of €13000+ in USD on 6-12-2017. (GOT USD INSTEAD OF EUR) (from IBAN: Y, so another IBAN)

After 1 week of receiving USD instead of EUR. I got response to double check if I got USD and not EUR > E-mailed back with proof.
Aftwe 2 weeks of receiving USD instead of EUR. I got response that they have double check and have send EUR and not USD. And asked me to contact bank and send them confirmation > E-mailed cex back with proof USD is send.

Because Cex send me USD and not EUR, I still need to get remaing amount of €2180.

2 weeks further now and still no solution........

Still no response, @CEX on here Huh? When do I get my money?

Really frightening message from Trustpilot:

"I wanted to inquire something, so I went to visit their office ("2nd Floor, 1-5 Clerkenwell Road, London, EC1M 5PA, United Kingdom" on their website) only to find that there was NO CEX OFFICE there. I thus asked the businesses on that specific floor on that address, and they said that they've never heard of Cex.Io, however, another person came looking for them before and also couldn't find them.

Long story short, the address they have is fake. They do not have a physical office and no one at that address has heard of them. This is very suspicious, and I thus decided not to deal with them. It's good that I didn't as many people seem to be struggling to withdraw money from them (they have a dodgy system where you can buy bitcoin without verification, but can only withdraw with verification, and seem to be refusing verification of accounts.)."

I can agree it's very suspicious with the fake address, what I can't agree is with payments because every time I got my SEPA withdrawals.
It's true some times with big delays, even one month delay but even here I understood where their problem was, they replaced the not reliable payment processor with a very reliable one who pays super fast.
I also can't comment for card withdrawals or other issues related to delays of deposits, verification etc because I'm not using these channels and my verification is good anyway.

This is a scam. I've wired them 8000 EUR on 8 December and it's still not credited. There are literaly thousands of same reports on trustpilot, I wish I'd seen them before. Best case scenario this is a Ponzi scheme and they're paying people once newbies like me deposit money. Worst case scenario is, well, they're not paying anyone anymore.

Anyway I've just filed criminal charges against them for fraud on https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-a-fraud-including-online-crime I advise other victims to do the same.

We need to have them shut down. I wish we could file against the owners personally, but they're Ukrainian, not sure how to do that, anyone any experience there ?

To be fair though, if they actually got shut down, you would never see your money again? It's only been 13 days, some people have had to wait several months.

I finally got them to credit my deposit by shit-posting about them all over their social media pages. I fear getting my funds off the exchange might be another story however.....

I have now been waiting since 7th December (13 days) for my deposit to be processed. I sent £2000 and reading through the post on here I am very concerned that I have been defrauded.

Please can you get this processed as a matter of priority. Looking on the forums it seems many other customers are in the same position. You tout yourselves as 'the bitcoin exchange you can trust' but I'm finding that increasingly difficult to believe.

Just hurry up and credit my deposit! I called my bank and it went through same day, you have been holding my money for 10 days!!

Well I see a lot of people complain and me too, many times, read my posts

But I rarely see people admit when their issue is finally solved.

I had all my issues solved with cex eventually, even if it took a month and I'm fair to admit that every issue was solved in the end

UPDATE: After I posted on their Facebook, twitter and trust pilot pages and threatening to report them to the police, I finally got a response and they have credited my deposit. I now just want to get my funds off this dodgy exchange ASAP . I'm hoping the bitcoin price bottoms out in the next couple of days so I can buy some at a fairly decent price.

I wish everyone else here who is having issues with CEX the best of luck.
