Killer Feature on CEX.IO: Withdrawals to Payment Cards

We’re extremely excited to launch instant withdrawals of USD, EUR, and RUB to payment cards. With this new feature, we have successfully completed the full circle of fiat money flows to and from Visa/MasterCard, meaning that you can deposit and withdraw funds in just a few clicks, once payment card is linked to your CEX.IO profile.

Withdrawal requests are processed automatically, right after their placement, which means that you don't need to log in to third party services. In most cases, withdrawals are processed instantly, and you are able to use withdrawn funds right away.

We encourage you to test out our new killer feature!

It was not really solved. I lost .2 btc out of this whole fiasco. I had to repurchase btc with the "usd" in my account that I could not withdraw to my bank account. Then I took that btc out and closed my cex account. I sent over my btc to coinbase for withdrawal in one business day. I would not recommend anyone from the us trying to cash out btc from here. Last time doing business with CEX.io.

Yes several times, I even reached out to my bank daily to see if there are any pending incoming wires, same answer every day, "No". I doubt it is pending if they offered to refund me my money.

The money never came. CEX blamed their new payment processing system and told me to wait patiently, despite me emailing back and forth with them several times in the past 2.5 weeks asking the same question. When I check my account in CEX.io it still says the money is pending and has said so since mid March. I told them to just refund me my btc (4). They told me they couldnt do that, but they could refund me the dollar amount back into my CEX account to purchase btc (which due to the increase in value of btc) would be a .2 btc loss. I am not going to forfeit .2btc because of someone elses incompetence.

So CEX.io wont refund me my 4btc that i sold to them March 14th to withdraw to my bank account in USD. They want me to purchase btc with the "USD" they never gave me in my bank account at a loss. Looks like I will use coinbase from here on out. I will be taking further action on this. God knows how many times over they took my cash and reinvested it since then to make a profit.

In half a months time, a check could have been sent via certified mail to the united states. A wire should never ever take 3 weeks to process. Patience is wearing very very thin.

March 17th my withdrawal request for USD was received. It is now April 1st, and I still dont have my money. I have sent several emails back and forth to CEX.io and have been told it will be processed shortly several times now. Safe to say, this is the first time and last time ever that I will be using CEX.io to handle any of my btc transactions.

The delay is connected with change of partner for withdrawals to accounts from some countries. We kindly ask for patience, the funds will be processed soon.

It looks like cex are rigging their own market.

Proof-

Users cannot buy ghs for less than 0.0001 btc, yet a large buy has been put on at 200 satoshis.

This is playing their own market and possibly illegal.

There's been a release made with a change of minimum price limit of GHS price to 0.0001 BTC, in order to prevent DDoS attacks.
The large order has been placed prior to above mentioned release.

Issue was fixed, it was a coding error in their site requiring letters in the IBAN or account number field. For those of us in the United States, enter both your bank's routing number (for international wire transfer, not your state routing number) and account number in the account number field.

Right and it says for account numbers, just enter the numbers, do not enter any letters. I do exactly as it says and it keeps saying invalid country code. I am waiting until its resolved. I called my bank, they confirmed i would just need the routing number account number and swift. No IBAN for US money coming in from overseas.

Anyone from the states withdraw their btc to their bank accounts from here? If so do we enter the routing number and account number in the IBAN field since we don't have ibans? It won't accept just my account number.
you can't withdraw bitcoins to a bank account. Only € or $.  On the withdrawal page for € you can choose between SEPA and Wire, so Wire should be the way to go for you. I always do SEPA, so not sure if you also have to enter an IBAN in the wire part..
Thats what I meant, cash, I sold my bitcoin for cash on there, but we do not have ibans in the united states. We just have the swift code, routing number, and account number. When I just enter my account number, it says invalid country code. I emailed CEX.io about it, they said they are working on it. I think it just isnt coded properly for US withdrawals.
there is a "!" sign next over the IBAN filed, which explains how the bank account number should look like. Maybe this does help?
Otherwise you can't do anything , just waiting for the support to solve this.
