Please, pay your attention that a wallet fee for storage of discontinued altcoins will be charged ONLY in the respective altcoins, not in BTC, but equivalent to 0.00015 BTC per wallet per day.

Dear Cex can you read the posts above and give us a response to our concern about your decision to charge account with balances non zero on altcoin you will suspend.

I have probably 1 dvc on the site, i don't own DVC any more, so i can't and don't want to buy some dvc to pull out some cents from your site, as this dvc is nor tradable nor withdrawable. I don't have btc on your site or other "important" alt coins, probably some other dust of NMC, i don't wan't to pay you a commission so take the dust in my account and never try to charge my with any kind of commission, as i will never pay you anithing of that kind, for this purpose, YOU raised the minimal ammount months or years ago, leaving us with no option to resolve this situation, i will repeat : I WILL NEVER GIVE YOU A SATOSHI FOR THIS NEW FEE FOR STORAGE OF ALTCOIN, that i'm not able to pull out whitout spending other money (in fees exchange and transfer) to refund wallets with dust on it, dust generated by your FAULT reactivating momentanealy MINING without my permission... because what is on your site now (looking to the logs) was generated a lot of months afhter the mining stop imposed by you, for no more profittability, i didn't request any reactivation of minig from the first stop, but the dust in my account was generated in periods after the first stop, so is YOUR FAULT about this situation.

GHash.IO Multipool Suspension

December 1st, 2015, GHash.IO Multipool will be discontinued. There is no need to change mining settings for the Multipool, as all shares will be automatically redirected to LTC+DOGE mining pool. Those users who are already mining on Multipool and LTC+DOGE pool simultaneously, please make sure that workers on both pools are titled differently.

December 15th, 2015, trading pairs with following altcoins will be removed from CEX.IO exchange: IXC, DVC, POT, ANC, MEC, WDC, FTC, DGB, USDE, MYR, AUR.

DRK (DASH) Mining Pool Suspension

DRK (DASH) mining pool on GHash.IO will be closed on December 15th, 2015. All DRK (DASH) trading pairs will be removed on December 21st, 2015.

DOGE and NMC

All DOGE and NMC trading pairs will be removed from CEX.IO exchange on December 15th, 2015. Merged mining for LTC+DOGE and BTC+NMC will continue as before.

DOGE and NMC wallets will remain on CEX.IO exchange with an option to withdraw coins.

Options for Altcoin Owners

Here are the options available to users who own aforementioned altcoins on CEX.IO:

1) If you own amounts that are high enough to trade or withdraw, we recommend converting to BTC or LTC or withdrawing your coins to a respective wallet.

2) If the number of coins on your wallet is too small to do either of those actions and you still wish to withdraw or convert them, you can deposit extra coins to your wallet so that the total sum is larger than the minimum trade amount or the respective blockchain transaction fee.

IMPORTANT: We will be imposing a wallet fee for storage of some discontinued altcoins, which will be used for running the support of the wallets. The fee will be charged in respective altcoins and will be equivalent to 0.00015 BTC per wallet per day, till the balance on the respective wallets reaches 0. In order to avoid this fee we recommend converting your coins to BTC or LTC.

Wallets on which the fee will be imposed on January 15th, 2016:

IXC, DVC, POT, ANC, MEC, WDC, FTC, DGB, USDE, MYR, AUR, DRK

Wallets on which the wallet fee will not be imposed:

BTC, LTC, DOGE, NMC

I hope you are right, because in the past, with mining power Vs. btc, when fees were more than payout your btc balance goes down to negative, and if they do it again, not draining the alt coin balance, will happen the same, but me, will never put anymore a single satoshi on that site, so i will never pay eventually negative balance they will drive.....

Good point. But reading that message, I think it's possible they meant BTC0.00015 equivalent deducted from the balances of discontinued altcoins (not from your BTC or LTC balance). So basically if you fail to convert/withdraw, your discontinued altcoin balance will eventually go down to zero.

Yes expecially if there is some dust (like i have) that i can't withdraw because they made the withdraw fee higher than the amount !!!!

And is also impossible to sell for btc for the same problem (minimum amount for selling order)... lol what kind of pirates they are becoming, no more deals with them..... bye.

To me it is below average. The did a great job back in the day, today it is nothing more then a ghost town exchanges.

You all should forget about cex as a cloud mining service.
It is an average bitcoin exchange now.

I remember i used CEX for trading. Then I analyzed the market and saw the price of their hashes were based on nothing.. So i left them.

Reading this makes me happy to see it was a wise choice.

They will not restart their mining operation on those old asics.

Propably they have sold them already, leaving investors with left with hope.

This is the main reason so many people left them.

It's weird right. Once they had the largest mining pool,these days there only have around 6%. Their exchange is crap.

The ghashes are worthless, what a downfall.. and yes this can only happen in the land of bitcoin.
