Can anyone tell me if you know any website where you can play online chess with other people
and that both man can invest crypto and winner takes it all?

Haven't found any online betting involve in chess games on the internet. I've been playing for almost 10 years since I was a kid and Chess.com is far the best online Chess website for me. But I don't know if there was a platform which offers a bet on games and uses crypto as its money. Kindly update the thread OP if ever you found a legitimate one.

But I don't think it is possible as most games are done in numerous hours unless it is blitz or a casual match, and it is too complex to bet on a player because blunders often happen and it is not a team fight.

it is hard to have good online chess tournaments, with unverified players, due to many chess simulation programs, that could be used for cheating on both sides, you just set the same game on a chess master software, put high level play by computer, and simulate all moves from your online game, since you do not have to use same computer, it is really hard to control it in online environment, and trust between players has to be on high level
Which is possibly can be done since you are competing from different locations. It would be tough to any creator building such service where they'll be able
to patronize the game without being cheat by both players from the other sides of the world.

I do love to play chess as well, but I do not know if there will be a betting website for online chess game. If there will be an online of it, I love to join that, I hope some developer can make it too not only card games, and spectators can bet to which side they are wishing to put money. Games of the Generals is good game too, I think there is an online website for that but does not a betting site.

It would be interesting to see someone creating platform that would fix this trust issue and prove that you are human.

Chess for crypto? OP must be a typical type of gambler unlike most of this crypto community because people here do not usually have patients to wait and that is the reason they choose dicing kind of one second games whereas OP looks for hour long thing which indicates he must be having complete different kind of gambling thirst.

Or, could be a consequence of lockdown which must have made people to think about long term gambling. Covid must have driven people too crazy to look for new things like this. Many classic games have been adopted into crypto gambling industry like in recent times minesweeping was added by many houses. Let's wait and watch this thread may trigger for chess.

Actually its a good idea brought up since there are so many chess player in the world so provably this one is a good addition the site to add up since chess industry got a big market. I always see my neighbors gather together when they play chess so no wonder that it could happen especially in online world everything is accessible.

I'm not sure if there are online chess games using money or crypto, I haven't found them but if P2P chess games are online then witnesses can see the game, then you can submit an agreement with your opponents to bet, another option is to use an escrow service then the winner will take all bets.

I would play with some friends online...so it is not very likely they will scam me (so easy) but you never know Wink

Well, if you are your friends are playing with just pennies it will be friendly and fun.

But once you introduce money, greed takes over.  There is no way to have a fair chess game online without each person having witnesses.

It depends on your level of friendship online if it's an old friend and you know where he lives or you are both acquaintances, then you can add excitement to the game by playing for money, of course, an escrow is recommended if the amount is huge but if it's pennies then you should honor your words.
it is clear that OP mentioned about Friends meaning it is His real friends and they will be playing as friendly but with small amount on it i think for more excitement .
I used to play email chess a long time ago, in fact someone on this forum also I met there before I picked up on bitcoin. It is fun, but you always knew when you were playing against someone using computer software, which is impossible to detect just have a lot of suspicion when you try ask them why they make the move and they cannot explain.
what is Email chess?sorry i have just heard it now and i am interested about how it works?care sharing Mate?

I do love chess but I admit that I'm not an expert though. But regarding online betting, will be difficult as there could be bots that is really hard to beat.

In this kind of games, many players are getting fooled by this hackers and seize the opportunity to collect money using a bot that is impossible to beat. That's why my point of view about playing these kind of board game is just for an entertainment purposes only and it shouldn't include any betting or money so that you're not pressured while playing. You only get experience and bond with your opponent plus it can also possibly increase your critical thinking skills. If you really want to become a professional chess player, you should practice and practice until you can wait for a gambling platform that is fair enough to all chess player.

Anyway, since you mentioned chess, me and my kids are playing it more than often because of the covid-19  Smiley. Yeah, another bonding time because of the lock down and I would suggest others to do so.

Quality time is also important inside the house and it is really good to see families that are entertaining themselves. Bonding requires a group of people who have good communication from one another. As this quarantine is still implemented and the Covid-19 virus is progressively spreading in some part of the countries, you should think of the possible activities or bonds that will make all of the family members to join and participate so that no one is exempted to experience bonding. Besides chess, there are also a lot of card games that you can enjoy such as snake and ladders, Bingo, and etc.

Betting in chess sound as a nice way to gamble, the problem is people could use a computer in the hard level to play chess against other people, that way the gamewill be rigged and the winner will be the one with a smarter PC.

So, if you find a place to bet on chess, i would like to recommend you to not place a bet.

Maybe, you could just play chess game for entertainment purposes because that's right, people might make a hack that you'll never win against them. If you want to play chess that includes money then it is your loss, they are wise enough to implement a hack so that they can take advantage of people who are manually playing. I suggest you to only play chess if you really know your opponent so that you have some quality time playing against each other. I don't know any chess website to play but there are some platforms that include chess games like, messenger, and etc. You can also play online and compete against an AI with different difficulties and it is downloadable via appstore or play store. You don't always need money just to enjoy things, sometimes you just need some time to entertain yourself even with a little things.

really ? the sounds like a cheating to me and it does depend on your pc  ? sound cool too at the same time but how that all works  ?  anyway , that is the problem with player vs player game because you wouldnt know if your oponent is cheating on you or your oponent uses some kind of a.i instead of playing him itself  but many players will prefer this way than you are competing with computers because your still not sure if the game is fair or not  . many player vs player gambling exist before but havent see chess on them , still all of them didnt last long  .
Well, it is cheating in a sense. There's a finite number of chess positions in a chess board, so having a pc that could compute/calculate every possible move out there that could lead to a win is pretty possible. This basically prevents you from moving any piece mistakenly, therefore creating a scenario where there's only a single path, which is to victor, that is theoretically. It is close to impossible to predict every single move out there so such a scenario is completely impossible. Though I am not particularly sure about end game scenarios, but there could be ways to determine the best moves out there once a certain scenario is reached.

As to whether or not you can gamble for fiat or crypto, you may have to organise your own tournament.

I play Chess on facebook but have not seen any any platform where you can play p2p with other players. I wish there were platforms that caters different games like pool, poker, chess and other player vs. Player games where you can place bet against other players.
