I am afraid most of the sites are free. The best known one is Liiches, you can play over the phone and there are many variants and includes exercises and training as well as advanced analysis, "learn from your mistakes" and pretty much everything you need to play and learn, even to an advanced level including a library of openings.

On the betting side with crypto, I think that chess is sport that does not match well with betting. Players that are good consistently get good results and it makes it difficult to make it interesting. On top of that you have very advanced algos that would beat nearly 90% of players.

99% of players will be beaten by bookmakers in any sport and it's not just about the algorithms. By the way, now there are a lot of chess tournaments and a very small number of them in classical chess (which are really boring and unrealistic to watch online). In games with a short time control, the variability of the results is much greater than in the classic control, so the results of the tournaments are more random and quite interesting to watch and place bets on.

For every good chess player there is sure to be a more professional player, and even more likely a machine algorithm that calculates the possible outcomes of the game for dozens of moves in advance. Therefore the probability of winning in online chess also depends on chance.

Here's some site that you may play against your friends or challenge a bot.
Can anyone tell me if you know any website where you can play online chess with other people
and that both man can invest crypto and winner takes it all?

Betting in chess sound as a nice way to gamble, the problem is people could use a computer in the hard level to play chess against other people, that way the gamewill be rigged and the winner will be the one with a smarter PC.

So, if you find a place to bet on chess, i would like to recommend you to not place a bet.
If it's a tournament of chess (playing face to face like matches of magnus carlsen vs Ian Nepomniachtchi) then why not bet on a site but if it is a site where you are the player and you play against another player online then what you said is recommended to follow as I have experienced it myself when I played chess on facebook against another player but seems I can't beat that person and when I decided to use chess games in computer then it seems that the result is either draw, lose or win then that's how I found out that my enemy is cheating.

I used to play email chess a long time ago, in fact someone on this forum also I met there before I picked up on bitcoin. It is fun, but you always knew when you were playing against someone using computer software, which is impossible to detect just have a lot of suspicion when you try ask them why they make the move and they cannot explain.

The thread is old, but I've found a list with some online chess options for those who want to risk some money betting on or participating tournaments.

Chess Casino – Where to Play Chess Online for Real Money

Top 5 Mobile Apps & Sites for Earning Money through Chess

The positive side of this kind of betting is that skills totally define the game result, so you can definitely win on long run without relying on your luck.

To be honest, these are useless (and even crazy) articles  Cheesy Genius Level Tips: Be the world champion at something and you'll make tons of money. Just Wow!
As for betting on chess, unfortunately even the largest tournaments are of no interest to anyone (from bookmakers) and there are quite a few options to place a bet.

Knowing the strategy of the enemy is useless if you are not good in simulation in your head since your enemy can easily adjust or mislead you if you are just moving to counter his moves. The battle starts in the brain itself since you will need to think fast and predict his movement so that you set traps in advance before his moves in its perfect position. I’m not a pro chess player but I’m always playing online chess with different user every night before bed time. This helps me exercise my brain,
That's why the game of chess requires knowledge to have a strategy so that we can anticipate the opponent's moves. But if our opponents have a better experience than us, it will be difficult for us to withstand their attacks. Even if I play offline or online, the results are the same, I can't even win. At least, I play chess for entertainment.

Try my strategy mate, Stand in front of your Opponent and Look at the board from above than Looking straight , Put your self as spectator than player yourself from those? you can see the best result as you can see from the top what is happening in the board and what is the next movement of your opponent .
But if we do not have much experience or learn more about the strategy, we will not have a chance to beat the opponent. I try many times to learn and practice, but that does not work for me. But well, I do not mind losing from the game because I realize that playing the chess game needs patience and not rushing in manage the movements.

We can't say anyone done know how to play chess. Chess is the easiest game to learn and only to play you need to use of some tactics. If the tactics failed, you may forced to loss at the end.The most important one of the chess is, you need to take a pieces of the opponent. If they keep lose of piece, surely they will loss his patience. Once the opponent lose the patience, surely he will do a mistake. It essential one to choose the chance ti win the game.

Again let me reiterate, chess is easy to learn but very difficult to master. It will take years of mental struggle and training for a person to develop at least the right amount of opening techniques, traps, and other tactics. But what makes chess so interesting is its endgame where even the top players in the world stills struggle. Even if you make all the accurate moves, one wrong move in the endgame (thus losing tempo) can cause you the game.

Imagine, playing for more than 5 hours (classical match) then you just lost for one wrong or inaccurate move on the board.

The game of Chess is part of the very few games I didn't know how to play. I realize that chess is better learnt when younger in school because at least you have all the free time to throw around. I watched few times people that played but it wasn't so much a popular game played around freely, may be it was a reason. However, Chess is highly calculative. You need to read up the opponent next move and try to checkmate it, I think that's mostly the technique of the game.
really? at your age you don't know how to play chess? you are part of the few people in the world that knows nothing about chess playing lol.

I think it is somehow rude to say that he does not know how to play chess- even old people are unaware of on how every chess piece works!

I agree with most of the people mentioned that there is a fine line between playing vs knowing the respective move of the pieces. As someone who has been playing chess ever since my childhood, I still struggle a bit to increase my ranking as this sport involves mental and psychological battles with your opponent. I do believe, however, that his sport takes into account the natural talent of a person vs a hardworking one.

There are still lots of people who don't know how to play chess and I see nothing wrong with that. Yes, it's better to learn about it at a younger age. Not everyone can learn about this game since we all have different cultures. However, the chess game is a strategic game that most of us could enjoy so playing it online will also be exciting. I've tried it a couple of times and it really tests your patience just like the old times.

Knowing how to play is different from being a good player and also different from being a professional on it, so you see there are difference of levels into the games we play or claim to know how to play. Grin lol.
There are also some games people don't know how to play and others do know it. So I'm not a professional player chess but nothing knowledge here and there doesn't make someone a good player.

I agree on your thoughts but I disagree about the timeline you put on learning how to be a good player on it. There's no age limit on being a pro, you could still spent time on it, learning all the openings and tactics you need to be able to defeat strong opponents. I've been playing chess since I was 10, but never had the chance to pursue it totally because of school.

But if someone really want to make it his career path, then age is not even an excuse.

Chess is one of the games or sports that I often play for real, to stimulate my brain, once I get involved in a game of chess, I spend almost half the night unconscious.

Honestly, haven't tried it online, except billiards, chess yet, @notblox1, if you want to see chess game sites online, maybe you can try to check the site below.

Honestly, I've never played there, maybe you are the right one for you, just for information.

I have been playing chess online for 2 years during the pandemic and I really love the game of chess and I often play in my spare time both traditional and online, and from my experience I can tell you, chesscube.com is the best site if you want to play live chess with your friends.
If you like playing on your phone, install the official chess.com app.
I am giving up when it comes to traditional and online chess, which means we play with our friend or bot or real player because I can't win from him/them, although he uses a known strategy that is almost the same from one round to another round. Playing chess will relate to how we can remember the strategy and how we can use bluffs while preparing for deadly attacks. Perhaps, it needs more learning or practice using a bot, from the weak to medium skills, and do it many times until I can play better.
Try my strategy mate, Stand in front of your Opponent and Look at the board from above than Looking straight , Put your self as spectator than player yourself from those? you can see the best result as you can see from the top what is happening in the board and what is the next movement of your opponent .

If you know the strategy of your enemy, that only means that you are good at playing chess so it is possible for you defeat them. Chess games have their own timers so yes we need to think fast or better if you can think of advanced if what moves your going to do so that you can initiate them immediately when your turn comes, if you don't, chances are your time will run out and this will ruin your moves which can increase your chances of losing the game.

I am not sure if there are chess games but with bets involved using a crypto because I haven't seen one till now. Chess is a kind of board game right? but I have already seen board games that involves betting, games such as dice and card based games.

There are apps on playstore and appstore regarding chess game with either vs AI or vs other player of your choice or randomly picked. I believe there are also chess websites like that, but not exactly offering a play and bet style. Most platforms just either offer a completely play only or play-to-earn chess game. I really haven't stumbled upon a site offering play and bet at the same time. Most people just play and just put a personal bet on the side, but those are just applicable for those people who have known each other to secure the agreement.

Although I suppose it would really be fun to play and bet altogether so that there would be some sort of thrill and excitement during the game. Hopefully, you'll find an appropriate and reputable site for chess game.

In my opinion it is impossible to fight this. That's why I don't play online chess and if I wanted to play this game I'd rather play at a real chessboard and see my opponent.

Chess is a very good game, but playing it online and also for money is too high risks because of possible manipulations.
