Hi see the following pictures:

https://start-zone.net:8443/files/IMG_20200404_163550.jpg
That capture was taken at 4 in the afternoon

https://start-zone.net:8443/files/IMG_20200404_220511.jpg
That capture was taken at 10 o'clock tonight.

Question?
If I have not mined anything, and the data is the same, why has my Derp dropped?.
From 10416 to down to 10249

I think now you will understand what I'm saying.

It sounds like he thinks his  derp is not correct.

Maybe he does not understand  this is a 5n pool.
Maybe he is doing a ramp up and thinks the amount grows too slowly.
If he has no understanding of 5n I could get that he would be confused.
Here is my miner
Rank.................Address.....................................H/s 1h.....H/s 1d......H/s 1w...Workers........Shares...............Best share......luck  ............herp........................derp
16   16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr   9.06TH/s   9.13TH/s   13.2TH/s   1          22,916,626,867  13754547806   100%   89,026,795,179    0.02408709

I will get about 0.02408 btc if we hit a  block today

one of the issues   of 5n  and a small pool like this is the hash averages no longer reflect your 5n average  which in turn makes derp hard to understand.

many would say how does a 9th miner get 0.02408 btc  that is too good.

even if they look at my weekly 13.2th  they say  0.02408 btc is too much.

what they don't realize the 5n  for this pool is more then  1 year  so I may have mined a ton back in oct of 2019  it only shows in my derp and no where else.

My guess is he sees  derp  for top 3

 ..........Address   ..............................................H/s 1h   H/s 1d   H/s 1w   workers   shares   ........best share...............   luck   .........................herp..............derp
1   3FE6XwqYfeYEwXcL1mngBsKb1jBZBaDQvQ   240TH/s   228TH/s   188TH/s   26   123,456,283,870   107066024386   ........100%   2,036,421,491,393   0.55097425
2   36JMs8rogpizjkkp6eeKMmm3SLbSNo5H9V   213TH/s   214TH/s   277TH/s   24   227,563,949,918   25726717143682   100%   9,007,638,605,640   2.43710693
3   32LA7cmsj35LH7cK1MjvwyoLEmYpuWAD9k   125TH/s   96.2TH/s   80.1TH/s   8   83,375,669,758   55209139173   ................100%   11,641,285,864,705   3.1496666

and he says  why does 3 get paid more  then   1

3 has less hash for 1 hour
3 has less hash for 1 day
3 has less hash for 1 week

3 gets 3.149 coins
1 gets 0.5509 coins

that is wrong.

if ck has H/s 5n in addition      maybe he would see  and understand.

I tell you what i see, give me a logical and convincing explanation of why this happens I have give two options
, why do you respond to Bad options ?.

CK pool is a highly trusted with a lot of miners. and CK is a highly trusted pool operator, I do not think what your saying is correct if you are trying to say the pool is stealing hashes then If I were you I would examine the work being sent to your miner I can say with confidence that I have looked over via proxy many times at the work being sent to and from my miners and never have seen any issues.

I think if your going to come and make some accusations you should post proof with your claims.  No offence but your a noob account making what looks to be claims that the pool is stealing from you without any sort of proof.

Good to everyone.
I have been mining this pool for 4 months, and for a month, or since I surpassed a certain amount of Derb, my emoluments, do not drop as they had been until now, that is, every day I have a bite to the amount that I reached the previous day . No, it is not a figuration of mine, it is a reality that I have been observing day by day, it is impossible to give up.

Let's THINK RIGHT:
There is an error on the web and the amounts shown for Derp are not correct, which makes me think that this is a bungling (which is already the charge per year). This only fosters mistrust of what is done with our work.

Let's think BAD:
It is not entirely true that this pool is free, in fact once you overcome a certain amount of Derp we take small bites so that we do not appreciate what is being taken from us. I think that if you have to charge a certain commission, deciding it is enough, but let us know.

Maybe we want to be made to fall into laziness so that we leave out of boredom? And abandon our work of months for the benefit and fattening of "certain whales". In these times it is not wrong thinking.

At any rate, it does not give me any confidence that this is happening, I hope that you take me seriously, because I am not telling you this is not my appreciation, it is something that you can verify yourself.

Cheers
If it's not free, where do you think the fee is going? Are you implying I'm somehow stealing your hashes? Only miners get payouts, you can see that in every block solved since I dropped the fee a long time ago. This pool only costs me money to run. Payout mechanics are too complex for a human to model in their head, especially over such a long period with wildly fluctuating hashrates, numbers of miners, and changing difficulties.

so I need about 40 ph to matter.  this is not going to happen anytime soon.

Why? It only takes some clueless Chinese controlling about 200ph to actually understand this and move the hashrate here. Could be a simple language barrier...

I personally won't be getting 40ph my bad I should have been more clear.

How often are payouts made from this pool? Is it only after a block has been found?

That is correct.

Wow, how can anyone afford to miner here? I mean, the design seems great - but at this point with once per year payouts - that's rough. Too bad there isn't some sort of marketing campaign to get a lot of people to jump on all at once the get the blocks coming in faster. It looks like it was doing pretty well at one point - if the payouts were less all the fees usually involved, what prompted people to pull their miners elsewhere? That's a shame.

Well, the irony is that a zero fee pool leaves more profit than those 4% fee PPS pools, and if enough hashrate was added to this pool, payments could become as frequent as daily, and with such frequency variance cease to matter. But that requires some petahashes per second to move here, rather than, remaining at the usual Chinese pools.

As you can see "little fish" can't change this situation much. I suppose that the interface and pool help needs to be available in both Chinese and Russian...

Marketing requires money, but a zero fee pool doesn't make any on its own...

What the killer is Even with 2ph it is not enough to matter.

I control 2 ph.  If I point it here we need to hit a block a month for me to not suffer variance issues.

2ph is not enough to matter any more.  it is .9 btc a month which is about a block every 13 or 14 months

If I had 20 ph it would be a block every 1.3 to 1.4 months

so I need about 40 ph to matter.  this is not going to happen anytime soon.

Is it possible to put this 2ph to the solo loto the other guy is organising?

What a lot of us do is spread out our mining.  CK is a stand up guy and provides a great service to this community with CGMiner and the solo and pool.  So I support both of his pools (solo and group) but use another pool for some steady income.

Yeah  I use 3 tiny pools that take over a year to hit a block

and a pool that pays me daily

How often are payouts made from this pool? Is it only after a block has been found? It was nearly a year between the last 2 blocks if I understand this correctly - does that mean we have a year between payouts as well? I just need to make sure I don't allocate to much mining power here as I have to pay my utilities out of my mining earnings.

I am getting ready to point a miner (or few) to your pool. But have a few questions.

Does it support ASICBoost?
Should I set my URL to other to use #xnsub?
Are there any other configs that can be set - like #xnsub?

Sorry, I looked around and didn't readily find these answers.

Thanks!

it will do asic boost it does not need xnsub

that setting allows rapid switching on and off different renters.

here your btc addy stays pointed to the pool.

and just the pool no one rents your gear.

just be sure the btc addy you use is under your control.

this pool can be slow to hit a block. so it can take time to pay.

you can do what i do point some here and some to another pool that pays quickly.

we discussed it in the other thread.

i point 24th to this pool and 40 th to the other pool

I am in the same boat.  I support this pool and CK but I need a semi-steady payout.  I currently have about 12TH pointed here and a few NewPacs pointed at the solo pool.  I was reading through this thread at the glory days of the pool and hope it can become that again.  I have an S15 coming and will point it here also in low power mode - 17 more TH.
