Anyone knows the best intensity on Vega ?
CM not optimized for Vega yet, use Cast XMR, 1900H+ (CM gets ~1400).  Use blockchain driver, and every reboot need to disable/enable card in device manager. Cast XMR stable though, haven't had to reboot in weeks. CM will probably optimize at some point, but hasn't yet.

Claymore, is there a way to NOT CRASH in case of Internalservererror? https://i.imgur.com/fHhQtiL.png

Ok, 11.2 does not crash in this case. Please check as there may be others wrong pool replies.

Thank you, no changes to -h were needed. Btw, does -li work in this miner?

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
Hey Claymore, on your ETH dual miner there is an argument: -ejobtimeout 1. Why we don't have it on CryptoNote miner? It is necessary when using unstable connection, for example 3G/LTE modems. 2-3 times a day there is a situation when modem reconnects to the cellular network (it may be that ip address is switching) and pool connection become broken, but miner still thinks it is ok and sends shares to the pool but the pool is not responding with accept or reject. The better solution would be to reset a connection if there is no response from the pool.

i mine with usb cellar modem (3G EVDO with verizon)) and dont get this with any of my miners. and i dont have that flag set on cdm, and no special flags on my other miners, had this 3g/evdo setup for years. running dstm, ccminer, ewbf, cdm, no issues, even back when gpu btc mining with cgminer. it might time out for a minute maybe but all miners always come back and shares are accepted normally..

maybe its a setting your router or usb modem? i had to use a special router for my usb 3g modem. or maybe its the pool doesnt like it? using mhp at the moment, and nicehash before they took a digger.

Partially solved in 11.2

Claymore, stability problem!

Almost once a day on different pools, different hardware located on different farms some miner instances suddenly stops at the same time (when on same pool) and blocks batch file from further execution: https://i.imgur.com/leifBzr.png

- i use one miner per card, but even on 1-card farm it may stop
- miner versions are 10.2 and 11
- stops only some of miners but not all, one miner with same card and same settings may stop while other works
- typical period between stops is 12-18h
- rig uptime is not likely to be related
- h values are fine-tuned for each card for better performance, but are 16-fold (h%16==0)

Hello maybe someone can help me. I'm looking in my rig a broken (too hot) card. In the clay more this is the GPU0 in the GPU Z however the GPU 1. See I in the HWinfo this is then the GPU5. So I can not set a card because it is usually the wrong one. Is there a logic in the numbering of PCI slots? It makes no sense if I set the card 0 in the Claymore 11.1 and 9.7 and the card 1 is controlled. Does anyone have an idea to get that?

Hey guys,

Haven't posted in a while Smiley

Is anyone mining Electroneum on Nanopool? What sort of H/s should I be expecting from Rx480s 4Gbs? Just testing so far but from initial setup only getting 750/card.

Thanks in advance.

That seems ballpark correct if you aren't overclocked or bios modded. the 470 I had  (completely stock) did a bit less than that

Thanks for feedback. Yeah currently OC and getting around 28.5MH dual Mining ETH and something else.

Guess no really worth mining Electroneum at the moment. Better off ETH and exchanging it.

HD 7800? methinks those are more than 2 years old, however I've never seen a 7800 before so I could be mistaken...

I retired my HD 7950 a few weeks ago. God bless that thing, it mined a lot of coins!

Just bumping this post.  Would love to know if the below behavior is due to the older cards and will be gone when my 1080s arrive  - or if it's my config.  TIA

Need help understanding behavior of Claymore with 2 Graphics cards

I have 2 old graphics cards (I am testing code while new cards where ordered)

AMD Radeon HD 7800 (x2)

When i have both cards in the machine and run NsGpuCNMiner.exe GPU 0 gets 25 h/s, but GPU 1 gets 336 h/s.

If I take out GPU 0 and run with Just GPU 1 it only runs at 55 h/s

I have set all the environment variables correctly per the instructions.

Anyone encounter this before - or if you know what I am doing wrong, please let me know!

Thanks,
Chris

Fixed the seg fault with NH?
I cannot see this bug (don't have it in Windows and don't have access to Linux system currently), but I found possible reason and fixed it. So need someone who sees this bug in Windows and can confirm that it is fixed in latest update. Or I will check it on Linux system directly in a few days.

It usually happens right after payment processing when the system disconnects all the miners for a second for some reason. The miner reconnects but the NH server isn't quite initialized and sends malformed stratum data. I'm guessing this data is stored in an undeclared variable and causes a buffer overflow but alas my coding skills are crap and I don't know shit haha...

Claymore is closing itself (or crashing)?
...
What is the hashrate on vega compared to cast-xmr ?
Shall we use blockchain drivers or the official ones ?
After that, the miners is closed. The error handler should try reconnect infinitely after x seconds instead.

Have you fixed the linux seg fault issue with NH or is this just the windows version that's fixed? I've lost over 15% of my hashrate using gatelessgate....

Guys,
New to mining, have 3 x RX 570 4GB.
Edited config file for like below:

-xpool stratum+ssl://xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14433
-xwal *myaddress*
-xpsw x

-allpools 1
-h 800
-dmem 1
-tt 75

Currently only getting hash rate of 650 per card.  What changes do I need to make to improve performance?
No overclocking yet.
