Using DAG repair driver on Windows 7 system, running 8 cards to report errors, only 6 cards can run normally. Version 11.0 can also run 8 cards normally. The latter 11.4-14.7 can not run normally 8 cards.

Ive been running just fine until update. Im getting Cuda error 11 cannot allocate big buffer for dag. Cannot create Dag file.
Using 7 GTX 1070s
Virtual Memory 20GB

Please Help

20 is a bit a bit small. Claymore is consuming DAG size multiplied with number of GPUs and then some I suppose. I just set my 8GPU rigs to 32-40.

Hey all, I cannot get STRAP function to work with claymore 14.6 and 14.7 for 13 RX470 4GBs.  It will Crash windows/reboot everytime. I Tested each card one at the time, when I get to the 5th card STRAP function works fine. However when I plug in the 6th card that's when it crashes loading STRAPs. regardless of what GPU I use/plugin it crashes on the 6th GPU. Anyone have any ideas?HuhHuh Huh
You can try to use -rxboost option without changings straps.

v14.7:
- added "-showpower" option for stats about GPU power consumption, press "s" to see it. Both AMD and Nvidia cards are supported, except Linux gpu-pro drivers and Radeon7 cards.

Multiply by x1.5 and you will see approximately the real watts.

Wrong power consumption for AMD RX560

Miner just shows values that are returned by video driver. If video driver reports wrong value, you will see wrong value. BTW, you must see same values in GPU-Z.
Looks like for 1st GPU miner takes right sensor. But for all nexts it takes VCCDI Power draw...

Have had a 6 GPU machine running for months just start to crash. Running V11. 2 other 6 GPU machine clones running fine. Rig is on for about 6 hours and then gets the wonderfully non-specific kernal 42 power error.

Maybe just a bad riser after all this time of constant running? PSU is an EVGA 1300w. No settings in OVerdriven are being reset so doesn't seem like the driver is unhappyand resetting cards or anyting like that.

These new supercharged versions (both 14.6 and beta versions) have been pretty frustrating for me on GTX 1070s.  Some of my cards simply cannot be made stable even with straps set to 4, sintensity set to 1, and cards using stock settings.  Anyone else run into this?

* Edit * Going back a bit, seems like others with 10 series are having issues as well.  Bit of a dud release for 10 series, IMO.  Not worth an extra ~10% hash when it's this flaky.

My rig of 7x1070 NVIDIA cards, and claymore with strap 1runs perfectly. Instead of 32mh of one gpu with claymore 14.6 now calculating 35mh with same setup as I use in claymore 12...

What settings are you using for 35Mh/S?

For nvidia power consumption is mostly accurate, for AMD on the other hand it pretty much depends on what driver exposes as 'GPU power only'.

v14.7:

- now the miner driver does not require switching Windows to Test Mode. If you want to turn Test Mode off, use "-driver uninstall" option (with admin rights) and reboot,
then start miner with admin rights to install new driver automatically when necessary (or use "-driver install" option directly).
If you have any problems with signed driver you can use "-driver install_test" option, it uses old approach: enables Test Mode (reboot is required) and installs unsigned driver.
- added "-showpower" option for stats about GPU power consumption, press "s" to see it. Both AMD and Nvidia cards are supported, except Linux gpu-pro drivers and Radeon7 cards.
- updated Remote Manager to show total power consumption.
- fixed issue with "-logsmaxsize" option when "-logfile" option is used to specify directory for log files.
- a few minor bug fixes and improvements.

For mining Ethereum with the 480 card, which driver is better to use and which hashrate should be?
You can use the latest Adrenalin 2019 and get 31-33-35Mh.
what's wrong ? followed the advice and only 12 mh.
on the forks of ethereum 29 mh.

Check -y setting to enable compute mode

i have  a question i cant run the noromal batch file in admin since this new windows update where as before i could include -strap 1 and it would apply straps etc but now only way i caN ACTIVATE THE STRAPS IS WHEN I INSTALL THE DRIVER -DRIVER INSTALL OR JUST -STRAP 1 ON THE SECOND LAUNCHER THE 1 U HAVE TO RIGHT CLICK AND RUN AS ADMIN. but if i uninstall it so it comes out of test mode soon as i run normla the second launcher and i put -strap 1 it puts my minerback into test mode ? is it  abug or am i doing somethign wrong. ethereum miner claymore 14.6 and it wont allow me to apply the -rxboost 1 as it wont work without admin rights.

Windows has to be in test mode because the driver is not signed. If you uninstall the driver to get windows out of test mode you cannot use -strap or -rxboost. You don't have to run the normal batch file with admin rights, only when you install/uninstall driver or set AMD driver to compute (y).

tnx guys
now i get 33.3 per card Grin

Is it stable?
I have hynix memory RX580 cards.
Even at best settings, I'm getting  32MH/s per card but they are unstable, crashes after an hour or two.
