Any idea why this happens every time after several minutes of opened app? Is the huge number of rigs a problem (350)? I have to kill process with Task Manager every time. Other groups with less rigs don't have this problem..

I had this same memory error happen with my 4 rigs. Error happens about once a week. Have not seen the error yet after upgrading to 5.0

I had the same issue on one of my PCs. It was not more than 30 rigs. I found no dependencies why.

Please implement stratum connection for Siacoin.
As you already know, there's no stratum protocol for Siacoin yet. Fortunately, Siacoin's mining protocol is quite similar as Ethereum, many things can be adapted.
"Nicehash compatible stratum" or "stratum-mining-proxy from coinotron" style would be good.
(I prefer Nicehash version because it locks down minernonce for each miners and it would be compatible for rental service later. coinotron style stratum is also good.)
As current work polling mining method harms pool server and client performance much,
it would be much better when stratum protocol is implemented.
MiningPoolHub will implement pool side when stratum enabled miner is released.
Thanks.

I can add "stratum-mining-proxy" stratum support for Siacoin. Do you need a private version for tests, right? PM me for details.

I released dual miner for AMD three months ago, still noone created similar public miner for Nvidia (though may be there are private miners, I don't know). I did not expect it.
I have an agreement not to create Nvidia miners, but it is about to expire.
So you will see dual miner for Nvidia soon anyway.

  I write miners since 2014. Most of them are recognized as viruses by some paranoid antiviruses, perhaps because I pack my miners to protect them from disassembling, perhaps because some people include them into their botnets, or perhaps these antiviruses are not good, I don't know. For these years, a lot of people used my miners and nobody confirmed that my miner stole anything or did something bad.
  Note that I can guarantee clean binaries only for official links in my posts on this forum (bitcointalk). If you downloaded miner from some other link - it really can be a virus.
  However, my miners are closed-source so I cannot prove that they are not viruses. If you think that I write viruses instead of good miners - do not use this miner, or at least use it on systems without any valuable data.
Ya I read that too a while back... I fully understand the nature of false positives in the mining game. However a Trojan: Win32/Skeeyah.A ? well its gone from my pc and software works fine without it. Make of it what you want.....

I still appreciate the great software... but shouldn't see that kind of virus.... I just raised and eyebrow with this one...

P.S. anyway to create a trigger command to auto-restart claymore if it falls below a reported hashrate threshold? For some odd reason, my rig usually reports 120+mhs hashes, but every once and awhile, something goes weird and it gets stuck at 60-80mhs hashes, and I have to restart claymore manually when ever I catch it to go back to 120+ hashes.

Hmm, I never saw such behaviour. If GPU fails it hangs or OpenCL functions fail, so miner can detect it.
Anyone else with same problem?

That should be great news for nVidia users.

Hi, I am seeking advice on how to mine through Ethereum Claymore's dual-GPU AMD Decred_Siacoin Miner v5.0 Beta or gominer mine only solo SIA coins.
...
No eth+sia.
The answer is above and many times answered: Claymore's miner is the ETHEREUM miner with extra bonus. You cannot use it to mine bonus coins without Ethereum. That's by design.
And with gominer can i mine solo Sia coins?

you can mine SC solo with go miner, you have to install sia-ui and sync all blocks first.
before that test your cards on solo SC mine. i mean weak cards like mine r7 730 not hashing good on solo SC.
R7 370 solo 480mh SC hash dual mode (with instensity 30) 220mh SC 14.8mh Eth, dual mode (with instensity 15) 115mh SC and 15.2mh Eth speed
I have two HD 7970 (1088/1500 MHz). Both cards 1840 MH/s. Sia Ui I started. Synchronization is.
Can you write me what I write in a * .bat file to gominer? Well thank you.

firstly i test it with
gominer.exe -cpu -H localhost:9980 -E 0,1,2,3,4 // run only cpu (-E means exclude pointed gpus) when sia-ui accepts connection remove the parameters
gominer.exe -H localhost:9980
Thanks. It works.

I'm running 280x. I get

[email protected] MH + SC@220 MH with DCRI 35.
[email protected] MH + SC@420 MH with DCRI 50.

That's major improvement for small ETH drop. There's no reject.

I've put two rigs to mine ETH + Solo SC. The problem I'm getting now is that there is no shares being submitted but I can see my SIA GUI block height increasing. I'm not sure if it's actually mining or not....

Did you keep you card stock settings? No over/under clocking/voltage?

Claymore, what about updating monitor manger ? I selected Siacoin for Second Coin but it's all red anyway.

I checked Remote Manager with Sia, both v1.4 and 1.5 works. What's the problem exactly?
Sorry man, i forgot about target's hashrate for siacoin. It's definitely differ than DCR Smiley)

been running 4.5 without  crashes since forever.  Upgraded to 5.1 this afternoon and had my first crash.

The batch just closed by itself. No windows error message or anything.

I'd like to run pool+eth, solo+sia. Do I need to run the SIA gui on every rig to solo mine SIA?

No, You don't have to. But You have to pay attention to mine over local network only. So You don't open wallet ports to internet. There are number of miners reporting loss of siacoins.

Hey Claymore,

I'm trying to get my rigs under a sleep schedule as my electricity provider is charging extra $$ during peak hours of the day (for summer months).  So, I've got a couple scripts that run using the Task Scheduler on Windows.  I need to be able to close the miner before it sleeps the rig, so that when the task to wake the rig up and start the miner executes later, I won't have >1 instance of the miner running.  I've tried the following:

Code:
C:\Users\Miner>taskkill /IM EthDcrMiner64.exe
ERROR: The process "EthDcrMiner64.exe" with PID 7216 could not be terminated.
Reason: This process can only be terminated forcefully (with /F option).

...which made me do this:
Code:
C:\Users\Miner>taskkill /IM EthDcrMiner64.exe /F
ERROR: The process "EthDcrMiner64.exe" with PID 7216 could not be terminated.
Reason: Access is denied.

Can you tell me a good way to gracefully exit your miner via cmd?

Bump!  Can anyone help me out here?

taskkill /F /IM EthDcrMiner64.exe /T >nul
Used to work for me.. And try using "runas /user:administrator C:\data\mybatchfile.bat"

EDIT: BTW are you trying to close the BAT file window itself with miner started in it? Wink

Here it is the whole BAT file of mine:
Code:
@echo off
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 >nul
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 >nul
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 >nul
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 >nul
set /a num=%random% %%2
echo %num%
:start
timeout -t 180 /nobreak
if %num% == 0 start /min EthDcrMiner64.exe -r 1 -tt 75 -dbg -1 -epool exp-eu.dwarfpool.com:8018 -ewal 0xxxx -epsw x -eworker bittrex -allcoins -1 -ethi 12 -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.coinmine.pl:2222 -dwal xxx.xxx -dpsw xls -dcri 60 -dcrt 8

:: pause
if %num% == 0 echo 0. Mining Exps..
if %num% == 1 echo 1. Mining Eths..
if %num% == 0 timeout -t 21600 /nobreak
if %num% == 1 timeout -t 64800 /nobreak
taskkill /F /IM EthDcrMiner64.exe /T >nul
echo Just killed the miner!
if %num% == 0  (
set num=1
goto start )
if %num% == 1 (
set num=0
goto start )

There's some neat stuff like random start of mining eth or clones, timeout after rebooting and rotating mining of the alt coins after given period.. Wink

EDIT: Forgot to add EXP row.

Awesome, that worked. Thanks!

anyone have some good settings to mine SIA only , I tried dcri 500 and it crashed my rig
Not really a good idea to mine SIA only. Best you go with dcri 50. Gives you 10% less hash rate but double SC hashrate.

Now the bigger problem I have and the reason I wish to solo SIA is because NANOPOOL has not been paying anything that I've mined....

when i crank dcri over 30 on my 480 and 290,  and nanos i seem to get a ton of rejects though should i be reducing ethi at the same time ?
