@Claymore How to fix this issue ?
got incorrect temperature 511, ignore
It has resurfaced and my miner always hangs as soon as the mining starts and have to do manual reboot

It's hardware-related issue, drivers report wrong temperature, usually it means that this GPU is not stable. Check its riser, OC, PSU.

What about:

Code:
14:51:23:183 1e90 Temperature control thread hangs, need to restart miner!
14:51:25:355 1e90 Restarting OK, exit...

This appeared only for 10.2. I've never seen it on older versions on the exact same OS, drivers, updates, OC.
So it's something with this 10.2...

Hi, Is there something wrong with the late teamviewer versions alongside the most recent windows 10 version? Claymore becomes stuck at "start building OpenCL program for GPU 0..."  if I am logged on with teamviewer. If I am not logged on it starts mining as normal. Once I logon GPU 0 Hangs in open cl and miner continue with the rest of the cards. Thats ofcourse because I have  -wd 0 and -r -1. Otherwise everything works very well until you connect with teamviewer. Is there any setting to be changed?

You may look at your task manager to check your cpu, memory, hdd utilization, you may find application or processes that may caused it, you may also kill those unwanted process if there's any

Yeah, i already did that, the only thing that works is killing the miner task.

Try to Limit the CPU usage of miner .exe, I guess it does not affect the mining performance when you do this.

Trying Clay 10.2 will see how it goes. 10.1 was highly unstable and unusable..

A clean Windows install+FCU, AMD 17.11.2 and Claymore's v.10.1 is the most stable setup I have ever had. 1 month now with no problems at all

Btw, 17.11.4 got released, did anyone try it out?

Thanks all for the help with Claymore config file examples.

I got it running with Win 10 1709 (FCU) + Claymore 10.2 + AMD 17.11.4
All running smooth.

PS. there is no change from Beta drivers + Clay 10.0 + Win 10 1703. So the down time is not worth it. I will keep my other miner on the old setup.

That is nanopool its nothing to worry about or even use.  Just get it directly from the OP.

I love Decred.

Tip:
I mine Decred using Claymore's with Ethereum, seeing ETH and investing in PoS mining that yield about 1.8% every 28 days:

Wink

I also do that and I'm getting richer and richer.

Hello Guys,
I want to go mining with ELLAISM coin, I need your help to setup my GTX 1080,
Can anyone share the configuration to connect with the server.

Thanks

This is an Ethash Algo, same configuration with Ethereum ETH and ETC, you may use the pool below for mining.

https://ellaism.org/mining/

that coin is worth a try I guess, might be helpful if you let us know if this is profitable.

Guys i have a problem with the miner and cant figure what is causing it exactly.
On my personal PC i have one nvidia 1070 for testing purposes. When i run Claymore Miner there, the whole computer start to work really slow.
The mining is fine, there is no problem there, but i can barely use the computer for anything else.
Its Windows 7 pro 64 bit, i7 2500k, 16 gb ram and SSD samsung 840 pro. Its a pretty decent computer.

On all of my rigs which have the cheapest processors possible, running Claymore's Miner is not problem for the computer. It's not noticeable at all.
You can browse the internet or whatever. The have Windows 10 pro 64 bit.

So tell me what you think, is this the OS difference thing? Or is it something else?
Please help!

I have 3 AMD GPUs and for some reason i only get half speed on my 3rd GPU.
Anybody have this issue ?
Ive tried different motherboard windows 7 pro 64bit.

check the other GPU if has high temps? is this a modded? you may check also your risers

Hey guys,

Just a quick question to see if any of you came across such issue:

After the latest Windows 10 Pro upgrade I started having this wierd issue with one of my cards (MSI RX580 8GB)....

Has anybody experienced such issue or am I going crazy here 😂

Return question - WHY?
Why upgrade or update windows? especialy on mining rig? It works good - leave it as it is!
Updates wont give you hasgrate increase. Honestly speaking you wont see any difference at all. You have about 70% of seeng new problems instead of any improvements..

So, I have a 980ti that gives me a hashrate of a little over 21 MHz/s when running in benchmark mode. But once I start actual mining using Nanopool, it drops to ~14 MHz/s, which is roughly a 33% drop. Now, I know that one should expect a certain drop in performance (e.g. 1% pool fee +1% miner fee), but a drop of 33% is too much!

Any reasons for that?

Benchmark is not the same as real minig. it will never have the same result.
Also as far as I remember you have to specify difficulty or epoch for benchmark.
In your case it looks like you are starting benchmark with a lower difficulty than it is at the moment in real mining
