LBC, they say. Was trying to switch to LBC but having truble running that wallet in Win 10, so
I am still mining eth+dcr  @ ETH: GPU0 30.441 Mh/s, GPU1 29.087 Mh/s and DCR: GPU0 974.124 Mh/s, GPU1 814.435 Mh/s
with 1 580 8GB Nitro +(hynix) and 1 570 4GB Elpida.

what coins are now the best to dualmine? ETH/ETC + SIA?

So now a few more questions:
1) Should I be happy with 25MH or should I push for 28 on these RX480 Shaphire Nitro+ 4GB(Elpida)? If so how do I do it? I currently have the Anorak Memshift Bios installed (when I had the overclocked Bios it tipped my PSU over 1200 when it tried dual mining). Would I need to go back to standard bios before trying any mods through claymore? What should be starting point and where should I be expected to get to?
2) Does anyone else have problems with their USB Risers? Mine every so often come slightly loose (think USB cable moving it) and it causes a crash. Thinking of putting cable clips on the frame to stop the cable from moving freely between GPU and risers but wondering if actually required.

Thanks

1)
if you are using "AMD blockchain beta driver" which contains the DAG patch you should not be happy with 25MH for nitro+ (8GB models can do 29+ stable)  27.5 in dual mine is the lowest you must be getting running at low power

2)
noone should be moving around the rigs. yes some raisers have thin pciex1 boards that move easily. I find horizontal usb connector to be more stable in this regard

The fee will be 2% if you run in dual mode, regardless of if you select single mode only for certain GPU's.  Solution :  run two instances of claymore, one with dual mode, and another program launch with solo mode.  you will pay 2%, and 1% respectively.

Ok I think it's 2% too, so my proposal seems better

Dear all,
anyone can hel me to make script so i can choose GPU 1-3 ETH only and GPU 4-6 ETH+DCR?

Hello

Use 2 launchers with option -di 012 for first one
and -di 345 for second

don't think it's a proper advice. you should try something like this:

#0,1,2 GPUs are in ETH only mode:
-mode 1-012

Thanks, I discover this option
What about fee ? Is-it 1% or 2% ?

I would also like to know the answer to this

I see you guys are having lots of fun with your new Vegas, I took a different route and got powercolor Rx460 4gb "mining" cards. The fucking things are incompatible with my new H110 pro btc+ "mining" main board. To add insult to injury these assholes put both samsung and hynix ram together in the same card. *facepalm*

RX570/580 FTW!

Ouch, nice someone took the bullet on these so we don't have to.

Also if you're thinking about the RX550 forget it, OpenCL is broken under Linux and AMD refuses to release working drivers. OpenCL works under Windows but the drivers are so unstable I had to set the card aside, it's a paper weight now. Too bad cause the power useage on this card is amazing.

I'm getting currently 75 Mh/s from each rig of 3 RX 480... What hash rate can I get under 500 Watts through 3 RX 570/580 if I exchange my 480's with 570's by paying something extra (I've an offer for that)? Undecided

Should I exchange? Will that provide me a big increase in hashing?
As a reference, I'm getting 7x 30.5MH/s (213.5MH/s) from 7x RX580 with modded BIOS.

If 30 Mh/s is all that RX 580 is providing, I'm better off with my RX 480. Thanks for quick reply!

If you are exchanging 480's for 570's then the other person should be paying you extra

Which 480's do you have?

Well I've XFX RX 480 8GB's. The seller wants me to pay him fifty bucks along with RX 480's for each RX 570. I've just searched out a bit and it seems you're right, this is a wrong deal and I'm in loss.

Not going for it, I thought these cards would be providing somewhat like 35 Mh/s. But if they're only providing 30 Mh/s, I'm just fine. Even my 480's can provide 30 hash if I overclock them.

Thanks for quick replies guys.

Whats the power draw on 480/570/580 at those hash just for comparison.   Per watt I dont think Vega is any advantage and considering its higher cost right now that would not be a upgrade so far as Ive been able to tell.
The 570 deal mentioned is not worth doing I agree.  I do consider all those cards roughly the same, you'd need to be buying up stock not swapping really for it to serve any purpose.

The nicest thing about Vega is the memory and sadly this advantage is capped even on the 64 unit, its not going far past 1100.    if they ever bring out a sequel like the 580 was to the 480 and altered this memory aspect that could be a big deal.  Its very possible they might, as vega is not considered very great competition to nvidia.   The memory chip count reduced by half from fury over to vega, otherwise we'd be seeing maybe over 50% gains to 60mh .  This is not the case currently, not easily anyway.

Can anyone list  the other miners they have tried with Vega besides this one with any comparison

My RX580 can mine with stable 31.5MH/s but power consumption is too high for me. But 30.5MH/s is acceptable.

Hy all!

I am pretty new in mining so i have one question if anyone can help me I would be really happy Smiley

So i have one question :

Can i command somehow to my claymore's miner that it need to restart when temperature of all GPU falls in idk 50°C ?

Is there any command where i can write this down and if is Can someone please explain me how and where to write it.

Thanks a lot for any help!
In Windows I'm using SpeedFan -> configure -> events -> create event for each card on T < 55 more than N sec to run a .bat file to restart. After create or update on events close Speedfan and run it again - otherwise, settings are not saved correctly.

That's what it seems to best solution to me - but the problem gets when i want to configure -  i can't add program-

When i Get- Then->Execute-> ( it don't give me option to add program.

Do i need to close Claymore ?
Create a new bat file (c:\reboot\reboot.bat). Add a line "shutdown /r /t 5 /f" without the quotes. In SpeedFan next to Execute add "c:\reboot\reboot.bat".
