So I've just set up a new rig with Windows 10 64-bit and running NVIDIA GTX 1070s. I'm getting 2.5MH/s. I am sure I have seen something like this before but I can't remember how it was resolved.
I've updated Windows, and I am running the recommended driver (I think 368.81).

Any idea how to resolve this?

EDIT: I'm reading how this could be fixed by downloading the Windows 10 Creators update. Not sure what that is but I'll try in the morning.

Claymore 9.5 switch from 131 epoch to 4 epoch.
Claymore 9.4 don't switch. Nvidia cards.
It's okey? Or it's some bug?

Hello,
I am using Ethos and would like to run claymore with 6 gpu
hope someone could point me in th right direction here (please !)
You have to believe me here when i say that i have tried absolutley everything
i have read here but i just cannot get 6 gpu working with this motherboard.
With Claymore each gpu is at least 2 mh/s faster
With ethminer i can run 5 stable(3 days)
with both sgminer and claymore's the 6 gpu will start up and hash at 27 or so and the cut down to 4
after 1 or 2 minutes.
With sgminer it also does me the courtesy of telling me that the 2 gpu are sick then dead.
This can be with any card in any slot,it always changes.
I think somehow that that is the important part ?
All cards and risers work fine and have been checked in different slots, different risers, individually,
in groups and any combination you can think of.
All the info on here i can find i have followed.
So that's 4 gpu with claymore and sgminer,
and 5 with ethminer.
This is my first build and i have really enjoyed it so far,im looking forward to making more hopefully.
but i have now been banging my head against a brick wall for 2 weeks now(starting to make a mess)
Anyway i hope someone here has a clue for me.
Cheers

Claymore runs them harder. Try reducing the memory frequency.

Thanks,
but i have had them at stock settings and it still showed all the same behaviour.

im using the -logfile param to have a log of what is going on if the rig have to reboot cause of GPU error (testing phase for overclocking/undervolting) but it seems the logfile will be re-created after each miner-start ... the reference tells me that i would have to add "noappend" to the filename to get this behavior ... is there a bug probably?

so even if i dont reboot but stop and start the miner, the logfile is empty again ...

if i ssh into the rig and keep a terminal session open with a tail -f i can read the error when the rig is rebooting but thats not very handy ...

what im doing is:
Code:
-logfile ./logfile.log

Because you've only been mining for one second. It can take a long time to get shares. My 6 GPU rig can go up to 20 minutes without shares. It is a numbers and luck game. Sometimes you find a lot of shares and sometimes you go a long time before finding nay. The higher the difficulty, the loner it will take to find shares.

timestamps are in hh:mm - so he was mining for one minute. Nevertheless, what you are saying is correct, he just needs to keep mining.

If claymore can't fix it, chances are nobody can. Its hardware related.
Just two aspects:
The situation with Polaris which start to grow now is a good chance for unknown intusiasts to make their own name on fixing the problem.
Claymore because of popularity may be involved in some political interests about solving (or not solving) that problem. For example AMD release new cards and want people buy it.

Also ETH will go POS in a few months, so hashdrop because of high epoch become irrelevant. Anyway global changes in word of mining are inavoidable.

@Claymore - could You please fix this annoying bug: when miner can not connect to the pool (lets say it's Internet provider technical break), after several minutes (sometimes seconds) it simply crashes whole PC. If You need more info, (debug logs or something) let me know.

Can I use Sapphire GPRO 8200 with Claymore miner? Technically, it's RX480, but what about drivers/software support?

So it's normal to see drop in hash rate since last night?
The bunch of such stupid questions we will see every dag change for a long time ))))
questions about 2 Gb memory are still almost on every page))
My cards are 4gb nvidia so if you have any knowledge about GTA 980 cuda miner you are welcome to answer but if not go back to hole where you came from...
