Need your help!

Is it possible to lower gpu perfomance for mining so my computer is still usable atleast for browsing ? I read trough the commands but I think I dont know how to use them. I tried to add -ethi 0 but on the output it says invalid argument.

full command:

setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -S eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 -O adress.worker -ethi 0

I have some rigs without a screen/keyboard/mouse.When i use remote desktop MSI Afterburner shows all as 0 så i cant set the correct clock speeds for mem and gpu. Also setting it via. command -mclock and -cclock does not work. Is there another way?

I have had to plug in a monitor or a display emulator bought from eBay in order for GPU tools to function properly.

Use VNC instead.

Hello guys, I'm mining two weeks without reset or freeze, but from yesterday I cant mine. Program crash itself and there is message in the log that GPU hangs (watchdog activation). That happen with random card.

8 hours ago another three rigs stopped working, but, after reboot they start to work without problems.

Is there any cure for this problem? Can someone help with with the advice?

I had the exact same problem. I was running 9.3 since release without a problem. 2 days ago it just started crashing on execution.

I downloaded 9.5 and everything is fine again, just one caveat, if you are dual mining you may need to drop the -dcri intensity. I was previously running at 27 on v9.3 - no issues, but 27 on v9.5 was throwing up lots of rejected shares, both ETH and DCR.

Now set to 20 everything is fine again.

Hope that helps.

Guys are you getting with 280x previous 15mgh or it is down to 12.5 now?
Huh 4 x R9 390 strix 8g Overclock No Voltage GPU tweak 2 for OC GPU Clock 1135 Mhz, +o mV, Memory Clock 6000 Mhz, Power target 150%,  After 6 months mining the hasrate drop from 129.2 Mh/s to 128.7 Mh/s, there is a risk with Overclocking long term card degradation and drop hasrate ? Temperature between 65 ° C to 72 ° C, connection with pool is ok, I have 6 months ago in mining ETH, ETC, ZEC with claymore V 8.1 ..
Same with 7 x rx-480 sapphire, hasrate drop from 210.8 Mh/s to 209.9 Mh/s

i have the same problem with 5 x sapphire rx480 8GB, hashrate drop from 145,7 to 144,8 since 6:55 pm today.
nothing helps to get my normal hashrate back.

Guys, it's not an issue. The bigger the DAG size the slower the hash rate.

And we just went to epoch 129 which made for a bigger DAG.

DAG size I don't think so, because I try everything to get my hashrate back but nothing
I see in another forum they said OC degrade the card on long term
If cause is the DAG ,where I can find him this DAG
I use claymore 8.1

First, OC doesn't degrade the card long term, although overvoltage may.

Second, asking where to find the DAG shows off your clear ignorance of Ethereum, it's PoW Ethash, and... shit, mining. You wanna find the DAG, try looking real hard at the GDDR5 chips of your GPU while you mine it.

Mr. DAG he grows bigger and bigger each 5.2 days and he(or she) is now 2,155,872,128 bytes big and grows as we feed him more money.  If you want to see how he grows over time look at this https://goo.gl/YHM7HY and weep.

I bet Google is exited.

I forgot to write, cards are Strix 480 8GB, Windows 10 Pro, tried Claymore 9.3, 94 and 9.5. Driver 16.9.2.

hello,
i got the miner running but when i shut it down later and try to start again, the miner gives an error.
EthDcrminer64.exe stopped working fault module amdocl64.dll
if i do a systemrecovery then everything works again.
I know you need to keep the miner running but if there is a power faillure or i need to reboot the computer for some reason i can't start the miner again without a systemrecovery.
Anyone else had this problem?

I'm testing an RX 470 4gb card @ the moment .

How insensitive! The DAG could very well be a hermaphrodite.

I apologize and corrected my grammar to accommodate today's norms.

Hey I ask for help from people know about this nothing more I don't know much about mining then please if you know how I can get back to my hashrate tell me how and thank you very much
how can i get more hashrate

Is there a guide somewhere to optimze your .bat file for Claymore dual miner ?

I think it's impossible  Smiley  Or, perhaps you need dual drivers to install the same time, But it doesn't have to be stable, I would not have risked  Grin

I have an issue using claymore: It seems that my internet connection is not very stable, and at each disconnection Claymore seems to bug as it goes into a half speed mode:
On my 6 RX 570 (not yet flashed cards) as soon as Claymore detects a disc (socket error) when the connections comes back its half speed.

Here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/FP3qO

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Has anyone tried mining with AMD and Nvidia cards on the same rig? If so, could you let me know how it works? Don't see myself getting hands on any AMD cards at a reasonable price any time soon  Tongue

Ok, I have a problem I'm hoping I can address without sending back cards. I'm mining ETH with claymore's 9.5 miner.

I have "old" 1070s with Samsung memory that mine like champs. OC the memory through the roof and they just hum along.

I have "new" Micron 1070s that can't OC the memory as far, only about 550-575 on average and pull 29.5mhs or so. I'm fine with this.

I have "new" 1060s and 1070s with Samsung memory that can't mine with even stock clocks at all. A few minutes into mining they blue screen or crash the miner. I've tried using huge page files. I've tried using one card at a time plugged into the mother board. I've tried various motherboards and power supplies. I've tried different drivers. I simply cannot get these "new" Samsung cards to work. This is with both MSI and EVGA cards.

Thoughts?
