I have been running v12 + recommended drivers since the middle of last week non-stop on two rigs, not a single crash yet.

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool ssl://zec.suprnova.cc:2242 -zwal xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -zpsw xxxxxxxxxxx -allpools 1 -tstop -95 -i 8

On Claymore 12, Using ethos/Ubuntu & AMDGPU:

Sapphire RX470 4GB - ~290 S/s (Stock - Core: 1260, Mem: 1750).
Sapphire RX480 4GB - ~270 S/s (Stock - Core: 1306, Mem: 1750).

Running using -i 8 on all cards (tried to lower it as well, to 7 and 6).

Any suggestions how to improve the RX480 hashrate? Makes sense that out-of-the-box stock cards, the RX480 will have higher hashrates, for sure higher than the 470s, no?

Well, on nanos they well fine I guess. Not a big diff, but sticking now to .0.

Hmmm. tough its specified -i 8 it starts with 7 on nanos.

I disabled -i 8 for some cards because it does not work properly in most cases.

v12.1:

- slightly improved speed for some cards, about 410H/s on stock 390X, 450H/s on stock Nano, 290H/s on stock 280X, 300H/s on stock RX480.
- slightly improved stability. If it is still unstable for you, reduce "-i" value.
- fixed issue with wrong hashrate when "-li" or "-ttli" options enabled.

Did you make any improvements for Tonga cards in this release?

Yes but not much, I see 193->200H/s on my stock 380. I don't plan any further good speedup for Tonga, these cards are really weak for zcash.

Also (before the crying starts again): on two of the test rigs (Polaris 470 and Hawaii 290x) I had to reduce intensity -i by one more notch to reach full speed. But it's still faster than v12.0. 390 Hawaii don't care much about intensity, could not yet see any difference between -i 7 and -i 8. Nice!

work only with 5 card on 6 cardrig, any "-i" value call exit on one from any 6 card (6x390x)(480-3x290-290x-390x)

Again:

Do not use -li and -ttli options for now, there is a bug there:

I will release an update in 1-2 days.
Added to OP.

we used to be able to trust your time table, but right now its shite.
Your losing a lot of respect over this.

No he is not.

Nobody cares if he releases it a day or two late. Its a very small bug, who cares.

Seems its not easy being a dev these days... people complaining about the dumbest things.

its more about his word, we could count on it. but lately that has been very difficult.
I had some weird bugs on windows with v12, one of my rx470 showed a NEGATIVE hashrate. imagine that.
Switched to linux now but v12 needs some fixing. perf on linux for rx480 is lower then on windows (20sol difference).
rx470 perf is about the same.

Don`t invest more than you can afford to lose
if you don`t like the V12 you can always use the older version Smiley

I switched back to ver 11.1 because of stability, i tried lowering intensity, clock and increase voltage but no success.
the interesting point was the crashed gpus (390) did not work normal even after windows restart, they were hashing around 40 sols where other gpus did 380.
so i was forced to uninstall and reinstall gpu in device manager.

You didn't try reducing the voltage and clock.

Try reducing your power tune to -10%, -20%, -50%. Start GPUZ and monitor the min/max GPU supply voltage. If this helps then the problem is your power supply.
