All my rigs are stable with v9 even with overclocks, my psu power capacity for my cards are still based on power consumption in mining scrypt, except for my 3x 290x on 1250w psu.

even the miner doing auto startup and bios seting autoboot after losing power, mining still continue looping after shutdown
but its not efficient losing time about 1-2 minute from booting to start mining again  Huh

Be careful with your electrical systems, after install v9 on my rigs I blew up a 30A fuse that never support more than 18A with v8 and earlier versions.

All my rigs are running fine since the switch to V9 (so 22 hours now) no restart. But I don't overclock and have plenty of spare power. (ex 1600w for a usage of 1200W)

what claymore says about the spike of power ?
can he fix it ?
yeah my rig sometimes restart like losing power / maybe this cause spike power reaching limit PSU and auto off, damn
my 860 watt psu handle 6 gpu(3RX480,2RX470,R9nano) total use 740watt,
when use v9 after 15-50minute rig shut down cause this spike, lol

Did some measurements 1.5% more POWER USAGE for TAHITI ( 280x) while 5% faster speed.

My others rigs all have mixed GPUs so hard to tell, but power consumption shouldn't be more than 5%. I think Pitcairn went up the most in power.

The power consumption is not a problem. But the spike of power crash my PC.

I have 6X R9 nanoy, it uses 1000W from the wall on a 1200 W corsair PSU before. But it crash many times. So I have to reduce the voltage and clock further. So it uses about 900W now.

But the hash rate is about 1800 H/s.

anyone have any 290's?
240h/s seems to be all I can squeeze. (-i 3)

edit: gpu-z is showing my 480's power draw spikes up to 216w from 120w.

R9 290 stilt bios 1100/1450 gets 300 h/s

in v9 is some power spikes, depends of cards and PSU loads to handle this

I have 5 asus R9290, keep them on stock clock 1000, used to keep most of them om 1150, but 4 got fried, 2 already replaced and 2 still on their way. I don't push them hard anymore, getting between 225-238H/s at the moment.

There is no reason to push cards to the max. I have zero interest in burning cards for an extra 5% when you can run them indefinitely at stock.

Two undervolted and underclocked rigs, 6x480 4GB each, stable with v9 for 14 hours.

Way to go Claymore!

Somehow, I have a feeling this is not the end yet.... is it?

Modern GPUs can still be squeezed a bit more, right?

Go for it!

And thank you for everything :-)

My guess would be that the 384/512 mem bus cards are the ones with more to squeeze out. So 290x/390x not so much the RX series.
