Can we run two instances of Claymore miner? One for rx 4xx series, second for old cards?

Yes just copy the miner to a new folder with correct parameters, that is what I do.

Anyone have some good settings for r9 290/x? getting about 120h/s on v5 with 1100/1250 and custom eth rom

That seems low.  I have a reference R9 290X flashed with a Stilt BIOS and get 150 with optiminer.  Clock is 1000/1250.

Hi. Many thanks for a job well done!
But what happened and how to fix it?
in the latest version 5 all my video show 380x - 0 sols. And it is not even loaded completely. Driver tested 16.11.3, 16.9.2
What could be the problem?

update.
480 and 380 do not work if run in a single window
If you run two separate windows. it works
but writes that long busy and asks you to specify a different port
Whether it is possible to fix?

It takes a lot to build but not much to lose

What is it? I have only 6 cards in my rig. And Claymore, please make gpu order in your miners as in HWInfo, please. The order is shuffle now. I wrote this to you in PM.

DEcrease overclocking.. your card is hanging.

my fury has the biggest gain hittiing 180 H/s..maybe its the HBM memory, imagine when HBM2 is released with the rx 490, that gpu will probably outclass the rx 480 and HBM cards by a huge margin.

Is v5.0 available for linux?

optiminer matches (or exceeds) Claymore's (win) speed on Linux.

Yes but at 15% fee.  Not knocking it just include all the facts.

Just so you know the fee is already included with the hash rates you get.

Optiminer parallel mines for the dev so the hash rates you see are what you get pool side, so the fee isn't relevant.  Claymore quits it's current job and mines for the dev, so it different.
So if that's even possible why isn't it implemented to dual mine another crypto?  I think you guys are just taking a fancy to that lad.  We can't assume everything they tell us is what it is simply because we can't look for the answer.

Latest version v5.0:

- improved speed by about 30-50% (depends on card model). About 145H/s on stock 390X.
- improved support for Catalyst 16.x and 4xx cards.
- reduced CPU usage.

WTF BRO!! NICE!
ZEC will be outmined now!
You killed it xD

Let the investors raise the Zec Course Cheesy

@ Claymore, can't you improve eth as well with those methods you just used here?
Maybe even get some optimization with machine learning as well, huh? Cheesy
I really hope, you don't just fool us with fake numbers.. but I believe you are not cheating us, aren't you?

The new version seems just amazing, 3x the output now at what was at first avaiable! Great Job!
However, 3x less reward at least :p

Thx for giving us those unbelievable and exciting results anyway Smiley

Are You Shpongled?
Wow loving the 5.0 release; my solution rate more than doubled!!!

My miner with 6x RX 480 4GB + 1 8GB and Celeron 1840 CPU went from 330-450 Sol/s (very inconsistent, likely due to maxed out CPU) to 800-850 sol/s and only 20% CPU usage.

Awesome work again Claymore.

I'm getting 130~140 sol/s across all 9 RX480.

4 of my 290x average about 125 sol/sm, touching 130 sol/s. 3 others give over 130 sol/s, sometimes touch 140 sol/s. Consistent performance difference between the 4 and the 3 at identical clock speeds. All 7 cards have 390x memory controller BIOS mod, the 3 faster cards just all happen to have Hynix RAM and the other 4 Elpida RAM. I was having this same performance difference on older Claymore versions and SilentArmy too. Even though I have tightened the Elpida timings a lot. Can only guess something about the Elpida RAM cards is holding them back. Something other than just plain memory straps Sad

Hi For RX480 what mod are you using besides straps ? Whats your power consumption?
Your results look great.
I have 6 MSI RX480 4G gaming x (hynix) and 7 RX480 reference 8G (Elpida)

No need to mod, I get at 130 to 140 on AMD 480-8gb using these settings:
Core clock - 1350
Core volt - 1135
Mem clock - 2200
Mem volt - 1100

Set target fan speed to max and target temp to 70C.

Still stable enough for gaming.

I am seeing 130 stable on an old 290 stock.

Those numbers just got luck for a little bit, 113 sol/s should be about the average.  You can try different rom, and changing the clocks or just leave it alone.

A stable rig is a good rig.

Yes indeed that stability is key, you can get more hashrate at the expense of stability, restarts and rejects.

One of my rigs has Catalyst 15.8 on it.

I have tried several video driver removal tools but whenever I install 15.12 it shows up as 15.8 in Afterburner.

Appreciate any help.

It's weird.. I use rx 470 8gb & rx 480 4gb.. both give more or less the same hashrate.. but the 470 consume more power than the 480.. about 100s watt vs 80s according to GPU-Z.. any idea how to lower the power on 470 would be highly appreciated........
I've used MSI afterburner & sapphire trixxx to try to lower the power consumption but my computer get freezed..
