Ok, I did not check this new Linux miner, but it seems it's faster than current version of my miner, at least in Linux.
So in a day I will release faster version.

Frontrunning: November 13
- Why you release faster miner? ? ? ? ? Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  Now we all must pay more for electricity and we will all mine same coins anyway, so much less profit!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Angry Angry Angry
- Why so high fee? ? ? ? ? ? ?  I think 2.5% is greedy. You already made millions!!! Why you not work for free so I can make millions too?!?!?! You are a thief!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Why no Linux version? ? ? ? ? ? You could make millions with big farms which all use Linux!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!

yeah...he is saying claymore is greedy with the fee and he wanted him to make linux miner so he can make more money haha

anyway saying "we will all mine same coins anyway" ... claymore zcash miner is on windows only and there are other competing miners out there...so we will not get the same coins, in a grand scheme of things.

For everyone who is complaining about electricity watch this. This is how power consumption was back during the Litecoin days with Scrypt.

350Watts per 280X at the wall. And you guys are complaing about 100Watts or so. So spoiled kids these days.

yeah i remember that, i only plugged 3x 280x on my 1250w psu back then

I use the R9 Nano to mine with Claymore V4. For 6 cards, I can get about 600 Sol/s. But the power consumption is about 1200W, is that normal?

Yes, unless you undervolt them. They run stable at -72mV on core with v4.0 at 100 H/s. Probably you could go even lower.

If you operate them in a very cold environment 24/7 at 200W shouldn't be a problem, with the fans spinning at 20%. If you operate them at room temperature without additional forced air cooling, 24/7 at 200W will not be good for the fans since they will spin at 50% or higher and likely not live very long.

What's the best core voltage for 290x and 280x

Try 1.025 or 1.050 V for the 280x, should be fine as long as its headless.

R9 290 varies mainly by ASIC quality.

My 290s will do -87mv to -100mv easily with stock bios but as said it depends on asic quality, on this algo -100mv should be no problem but on eth -100mv may crash.

I do -87mv since it is stable there for all my 290s and hardly much difference in temps/watts between -87 and -100.

bat file for mining rig rentals please  Huh

I sent a support ticket to mining rentals a month ago and they said that they not support claymore's miner. I'm not sure if they end up adding support now.

What's the best core voltage for 290x and 280x

I find 1.05~1.07v is enough for 290x to maintain stability at 1000/1250.
I have 3x290x and 1x280x, core voltage at -69 core clock at 1000 mem -1350 and they consume 920 watt.
Is it correct or I can get lower power

Are you using stock BIOS for the 290x? If so, you should be able to go right down to -100mv and stay stable at 1GHz. worst that will happen is your miner will crash, just reboot and try again.

any custom rom
for asus or saphire with hynix memory 4gb?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxXMvDzLOtE2bHZnOGw2QkFqNVU

for RX 480 4GB Hynix memory

88 H/s with claymore's v4

96 Sol/s with SA v5
ssid mismatched when i try for shappire nitro+ rx 480 4gb,
thanks

That's the card i use, just add -f command to force the flash
is this safe to try ?

if you have shappire nitro+ rx 480 4gb hynix memory yes!

anyway you have dual bios

The hynix seems to be rocking on Zcash.

Too bad they switched to Elpida on the 4gb models, the 8gb is samsung though so that should rock pretty hard.
