The good thing about those blue foam rollers in the new packaging is that you can use them as pool toys when next summer comes around.

I think the image should work fine on the Raspberry Pi B+. I've ordered a batch of Raspberry Pi B+ boards and will test out before putting them up in the store. I've also ordered a batch of A10 cubies for those looking to run multiple instances of cgminer.

I'm waiting on ASICPuppy.net units to sell out before I consider another group buy purchase. If you would rather wait on shipment from China, I believe Canary is still gathering buyers for another purchase. I actually have a .05 off coupon from my first tube purchase with Canary. I will give it to the first of my group buy participants that PMs me.

Is anyone running crazyguys image on the rpi b+ model?
I'm running CG's image on a RPi B, I don't think it's B+.  Aside from the problem mentioned above, it's ran great for the last 24 hours.

Cheers.

I was up and running fine with my Prisma this morning, until I restarted to miner to update a few pools.  Now it's spitting out "BET0: Unexpected value 00 received" errors (many every second) while it hashes.  Any thought on this--I've seen a couple people with the same issue, but no solid solution yet.

Cheers!

From Settings change from CGminer (ASICMiner Fork) to CGminer (RockMiner Fork) - SAVE & RESTART then change back to CGMiner (ASICMiner Fork) - SAVE & RESTART.

Not sure who mentioned this solution previously but it has been working for me.

Cool, I'll give that a try.  Others have suggested restarting cgminer, so maybe this is one and the same.  I'll report back.

Restarting CGMiner or switching to the CGMiner 4.x (Official) then back wouldn't clear it for me.
Me either--I believe that restarting cgminer until it clears up is the answer, as I'm up and running now after just resetting cgminer a few times.  Maybe six, maybe a few more, I wasn't counting.  I would love to figure this out.  Power cycling the Prisma doesn't seem to clear it, either.

Back up and running for now, we'll see what the clock reaches--it's sitting at 1322 now, but it's been steadily climbing.
It popped back up pretty quick, it's running 1451 now--apparently I just needed to be patient and restart cgminer until it cleared.

mine should come today.  will photo setup  .

I have two setup already, I hope my  adapters arrive today as I'm using the BE controller with bfgminer as a proxy to hash on a different pool. Are you going to hook it up to the rpi first? I really would like to get two more but I'm not sure how many the pi can handle. I always look forward to your posts as you're very good at documenting everything and showing us pictures of your setup in the process. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Any word when the GB will open again?

My 2 Prisma are still hashing great off RPi after almost 17hrs.
Have a 3rd unit that is on it's way; will report in once I get it added to the chain.

I switched to the Rpi minera and only 1/4 boards was hashing.  Literally took off the power supply, re-daisy chaned, re dip switched, put back on Rpi and then no boards hash.  So went back to BE controller, it sees all the boards 1-4/17-20 but will not hash if pointed to Ghash or BTC guild.  So I did handles out, still no dice.  Ummm, I'm at a loss.  These things have warranty?

very happy with the btc price trend we are near 400usd  fingers crossed we stay around 400-450 usd a coin for the next few weeks then jump to 450 -500 usd near thanksgiving.

With a continued decrease in % of network difficulty increase.

That's great, I'm glad the rpi is fixing most of your issues. I still have a couple units running fine off of a BE controller but I have a lot of air passing over it.

CrazyGuy's Minera RPi image is the way to go with the AM Prisma.  Especially if you have more than 1 unit.  I had very little issues with a single Prisma on a BE Controller used in conjunction with BFG proxy.  As soon as I added my 2nd Prisma - I had nothing but issues. 2 units wouldn't hash for more than 1hr - 1hr15min, had a hashboard that refused to hash 90% of the time.  The only way I could get 2 units to hash half way reliably was to run the 2nd unit with 3 hashboards - the other hashboard would cause the BE Controller to "freakout". Even with running 7 hashboards - I still experienced wide variations in the poolside hashrate.

This morning I moved the 7 board setup to CG's Minera RPi. Started hashing great; poolside hashrate very solid & consistent (still varies a bit but nowhere like it did on the BE Controller).  Efficiency/Reject rate has dropped from 6.25% + to less than 4.15%.

When I got home this evening I connected the 8th hashboard, after a little over 2.5hrs the unit stopped hashing - 1 indicator poolside was a drop in work difficulty (same reflected by cgminer and when on BE Controller); had seen this before with the BE Controller - the controller & Minera both still showed normal poolside hashrate - but the pool showed the unit dropping down to 0 hashrate. But this time Minera Acepted/Rejected/Errors graph showed the drop also (not sure why it still reflected the poolside hashrate).

What I did to get around this on the BE Controller was to use a pool port set for difficutly 2048 (for S4), doing this seemed to correct this issue with BE Controller, and now also with the Minera RPi.  It's like the Prisma doesn't handle vardif very well when more than 1 unit.

Since changing to a fixed difficulty the 8 boards have been hashing for over 4hr40min
