CoinLenders has already closed down. What you see now is the fully functional demo.

See the new thread if you are confused. There are no pending changes, all the changes have already been made.

Due to growing regulatory attention on Bitcoin, CoinLenders regrettably has decided to close it's service. As detailed on the site, everything was fictional anyway.

We're now selling the CoinLenders script and we have a fully functional demo instance available here. It has been filled with real world data, take a look!
Obviously I expect my money back.

Are we getting our money refunded? I have a CD that isn't due to mature until November.

well, is it actually closing, or is it just another change in policy to avoid prosecution?

are all investments going from play money to a demonstration?

if it is closing, is there some timeline to remove funds? or will they automatically be sent to inputs.io?

additionally, what was coinlenders invested in and how much? what effects has the liquidation of all those investments had?

If they are closing down its likely TF has been liquefying the securities over the past few weeks. Dumping all at once would lose TF so much money.

I suspect most of the customers funds at this point are simply Bitcoins and nothing else.

I have a CD with Coinlenders that's not due to mature until October 19th.  Since you're shutting the site down, I'd like my money back now.

Interesting. Do you get the mature CD or just how much it has gained up until this point?

+1

There is definitely a positive psychological effect to seeing the satoshi add up.
Not sure if it would be worth the cost of implementation and support.

Is anybody else having this issue?
When I go to CoinLenders, it loads the home page, then I press the "Login" button. But after I login, it redirects me back to the home page, but the home page is now the same as before I logged in Tongue But if you press the "Login" button again from there, it tells you that you're ALREADY logged in Tongue
Not happening for me. Are you sure you are on the real coinlenders.com and not a phishing site ??

Uh HUH, I'm pretty sure Tongue
And I just tried logging back out, and going to the homepage, and logging in, and it doesn't happen. However, I checked CL once a day for like half the past week, and it always happened.
I'm pretty sure I'm not on a phishing site with a malformed URL, because I save my logins with a password manager that autofills them if I'm only on the correct website.

And what is a difference between a CD and waiting every day to get the fee rebates?
What is the best and why?

A little higher rebate (or less fee) for a time deposit (I can't withdraw the CD until maturity without penalty) and a fixed rebate rate (can be good or bad depending on the market).
What is best depends on your goals, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance.
