@Marto: I paid over €4000 at the €-BTC rate of 07-17-2014. If I opt for a refund, will I get the equivalent of the € price in BTC at the €-BTC rate on the date of the refund, or at the date of paying (as in: the same BTC number as paid on 07-17)?

@Bobsag3, since the 07-22-2014 message I would be sent a check, no word has reached me through your broken Zen system, I had a reply by pm from Thomas my tickets and even your emails (minersource's) never came in or went out, and a fair number of checks did not reach their destinations. I asked to be updated on what is next for my case, but nothing since. What should I do next to get this moving?
Bump
We started to ship and problem solved even with hand replacement of MCU's
Your order is for EU so will be out tomorrow or in Monday.
As far all the boards are produced for the assembly service batch1 no refunds will be available for now.
second sending for minersource is out today/tomorrow too

Scam-Busting PSA: Beware of Black Arrow Software
September 11, 2014, 12:42:17 AM
Hi Bob, I've been having a (surprisingly potentially productive) discussion with blackarrow today about one the areas I'm feeling aggrieved about, which is shipping. Can you give me a rough/round figure for how many chips you had shipped in batch one of the group buy please? And just out of interest did you pay any carriage cost for this or did BA absorb it from carriage amounts paid to them for their orders? The reason is that I'm asking for a partial carriage refund either back to myself or to Sean's Outpost, on principle. It might be a very small victory, but it's likely to be the only one I could realistic expect to come to an agreement with BA on, and one that I can accept symbolically if nothing else.

Just asking here rather than in PM to keep it open and public record.

Hi Bob, Thomas, could one of you chime in on the above please, I don't want to leave it too long before I respond and have the window of opportunity close, even if I don't get a token anything back, I'm hoping Seans Outpost will.

I just came back in the town.
Was off for 6 days.
We are shipping every day as many boards are ready.
@bobsag3
as far I remember I have to use some of your chips for replacement of bad chips (about 5-6 % until now)
First sending was ready last Friday but due to DHL mistake it went out tuesday. One went out today as far as I know.
And tommorow I'm back @ work so will be able to update more detail.
tommorow I'll post on the website instructions for attaching the base fan with photo.
Generally it is simple there is no tread on the heatsink , you just put 4 threaded bars in the fan holes and then put the bars between the ribs of the heatsink with little pressure like V then press fan towards heatsink and that is it they are like welded

I wasnt sure on the % bad chips, thanks for the info.

We have received a tracking number from technobit for boards, not sure how many but should be quite a few.

That is great news!!! Looking forward to the basement being a little warmer.

What day are they supposed to be in?
DHL doesn't say, I won't know an exact date until they hit US customs.

Nope theres not Sad not a clue how to asseble the fan to heatsink

you could use long bolts from hardware store. put four in your fan, then rest on heatsink so the heads mate into the grooves, then flood superglue round head and hit it with activator. then you can take the fan off and you are left with four perfectly aligned fan studs. pop fan back on and use nuts to secure. head may need cutting off and superglue thread straight in.

My board has four holes in the middle for the feet and to mount the fan.
and on the out side edge 2 holes on each side for extra legs.

How are people attaching the lower fan and heatsink to the main board?

snip

Are there not screw holes thru the board?

I had asked marto for a test board a few weeks back to help you guys set these up and such... but no dice.

Yeah.  Part of the annoying part of this is that we don't know when things are going to be shipped,  so it's hard to plan things like vacation,  time off,  etc.

Marto:

You got the replacement materials in a while ago,  yes?  When did the most recent PnP start for batch 1?  How long of a burn in do you expect?  When do you expect to start shipping in mass?  What is the current status?

I think that,  after about 8 weeks (6 weeks delay)  a short weekly update would be useful.  Thanks!
We could post our name/paid/ship dates, to see progress? Like

name.  ordered. paid. shipped
-----------------------------------
Qeu    07-17.  07-17. ------

quote and add?

I'm up for that, if you want to start the new thread Qeu (don't want to steal your thunder), would be good to keep things transparent. Unless Bobsag3 is interested in building the list into the first post, perhaps?

We should have the first batch of boards on their way back to us soon, DHL is being its usual terrible self.

How do we know if we are in that batch?

No idea as marto has not said how many boards are in the shipment, not to mention minersource itself is owed about ~700 chips in boards.
