Hey guys,

What do you think of this cooler, will it be able to shift enough heat?

Notice it only has 2 heat pipes:

Looks good don't worry about the 2 heatpipes cause the chip itself is very small.

I'm thinking these so as I can mount the board horizontal in a old pc chassis with all the bays removed.

That's my concern also, paid 45 for psu and 69.99 for shipping my x1's asked to switch that to the $48 atx psu and have been told need a extra $20 to pay the maths don't add up.

Are the first lot of chips on the way bobsag3

They were shipped out late Friday night from HK direct to Marto

EDIT: Keep an eye out on the OP, I will continue to add info and updates pretty much daily

Bobsag3, if we request a group buy assembly discount code, which exchange rate is used for the €4100 in my case for 25 boards, the bitpay one? Just to get an idea how much btc I need.

Can we use outstanding international shipping from the converted X3, and the paid extra X3 PSU, into store credit for atx psu's?

@bobsag3, Things are moving along nicely! Thanks for providing this service Smiley

I realise you are mad busy organising the group buy at the moment, so I'll just mention it here...

I would like to push my spare 4 chips onto @y_boonstra.

Is this possible and how/when should I do this?

Bob do we get confirmation on these actions some ppl took (shifting chips). So we can finish this financialy.?

I believe it is any intel style heatsink that can dissipate 120 watts of heat.
How do you figure that out from a specs sheet?

As near as I can tell,  you call the company's support line.

Is there another option besides the arctic cooler posted above? Or will any 1155 heatsink/fan work?

Give me a model and I'll test it

Can you provide a picture of the base heat sink and fan on the Minion board? I want to see about some sort of mount for the miner.

Several are posted here:
