Just wondering.
Why the 10min switch? Better than splitting in half?

-Redacted-, could you give us an update on the 2nd miner that's shipping?

Don't have a tracking number yet for the second and third miners - expected to receive at least the tracking numbers for them today.

Nothing yet on the fourth and fifth miners - they're both day-1 in the 35x range, but just sitting there at PAID.

I just checked the KNC website - no status change.  I was told on the phone last week that box 2 and 3 would probably arrive here on Thursday, but it isn't looking much like that at the moment to me.  I'll let everyone know the second anything changes.

How is everything looking? The heat? the global GH/s?
Give us some details! Wink And congratz on hitting the target!

Also did you guys finalize the R5/R6 spreadsheet?

Maybe 250/300 watts coming off it, heatsinks are warm to the touch, not hot.

I have it switching between GB5 and GB6 every ten minutes on Eligius.  You can look for yourself.   That should almost be enough time to see the max hashrate in the 2 minute average before it switches to the other GB.  It will take the 3 hour some time to stablize, I'm going to let it run that way overnight.  There will be a short outage tomorrow since I have to work on the case fan that isn't running, and get the case put back together....

No, I was going to finish up R5 this evening, but I'm just too tired since I was up at 3:00 am this morning.  Should have the payout spreadsheets double checked tomorrow and I'll post parts of them to allow people to verify...

oh happy day it works!!.   I say bitminter but would not mind trying out the Polish Pool.  I am flexible.

One share one vote Wink

I will spend my votes on polmine.pl
After ddos of btcguild, terrible luck on bitminter, 19h blocks and eu stratum fails on slush polmine  is safe heaven for me. Months of uptime and no share loss when switching pool/reboot/maintance, on slush all your hashing is wasted.

Well, everyone has different ideas - I guess anyone could put things up for a vote.   I don't have a preference, I've mined on nearly all pools, I pretty much like them all.  The GB can vote however they want for whatever pool they want - it's a DZ democratic GB Smiley  I just have things pointed to Eligius because it's easy for everyone to look at the accounts without needing to log in.

Please consider www.polmine.pl as pool

It has merged mining nmc
Low fee 1%
smPPS
High luck

Nice charts and signatures
Precise stats, every share is listed
Full group buy support, you can split income into separate accounts
Great hall of fame
No downtimes
Separate port for choosen diffilcuty

Thanks Smiley

Some features are not translated so you can switch to polish flag to try them (detailed worker charts, income split)

Eligius is back up.   I switched back over to there from BTCG.  Make a team, eh?  Good idea - I'll try to remember to do that tomorrow.

I already have private access at BTCGuild - I don't have any problems with DDOS.  And I also mine at a couple of private pools, too, (one being GigaVPS) that don't end up getting DDOS'ed.

I spread lots of hashrate around the various pools.  Smiley

I moved all my Bitfury stuff out of the way for the Jupiter - I'm going to have to re-organize things here and get those running again...

And yes, I could heat my entire place for the winter with this - the place is triple insulated against the Minnesota winters.  The dual GPU miner was too much - I had to leave windows open in the computer room even in the winter.

I'm going to call it a night - I'll post some stuff in the morning like the hashrate chart and how much we made mining overnight, etc....
Make a BTC Guild team for each of the units.

Actually it has more of that new electronics smell.   Warm air, a touch of rosin, some volatiles from the solder mask and cleaning process,  and just the slightest hint of ozone....
I want to host it over the winter for warmth =)

Also you can contact the admin of BTC guild if you have a high enough hashrate and get access to the private servers (which from what I know never got affected by the ddos)

The heatsinks are warm to the touch.  Overall it puts out less heat than my dual 7970 GPU miner (which I turned off some weeks ago.)

BTCGuild has done one heck of a job bypassing all the DDOS stuff.  It's where I go when everything else is screwed up.

Here's the unboxing photos....

We're at 50% - split between GB-5 and GB-6.

Shouldn't we be at 550Gh/s?

----------
For people wanting to go back to the original release of .90 it can be found here
www.kncminer.com/userfiles/file/kncminer-0.90.bin.
Note: This release uses more power and is only recommended if you are having issues with the later releases.

This release (0.93) fixes the remote reboot issue so its now possible to patch your box and reboot it remotely rather than having to physically power cycle it.
www.kncminer.com/userfiles/file/kncminer-0.93.bin

This fix(kncminer-reboot) is just the reboot patch and can be applied to any firmware version
www.kncminer.com/userfiles/file/kncminer-reboot.bin
We will continue to improve on the firmware and release them as soon as we can,
The miners are being split between R5/R6 so its at 50% hashrate
Miner 1 runs both R5/R6
Miner 2 runs both R5/R6
Miner 3 (not ours) Runs both R5/R6 to equal the missing hash rate for the other days.

Then Miner 1 runs R5
Miner 2 runs R6

Did you have time to upgrade the firmware?

I've heard that you shouldn't, unless you have some particular issue....  There doesn't seem to be a way to tell what version is currently running via the web interface.

Looks like we're hitting about the right hashrate - this  is after about 10 minutes:

'The right to privacy matters'
You know how 4 pin fan connectors usually have a smaller polarizing plate that allows a three pin connector to fit on 4 pins properly?  Well these connectors have a full 4 pin wide plate.  Both of the three pin fan connectors were forced...  One works, the other doesn't..

Can't send a picture without removing the fans - which I will do in a short while.

Right now, it looks like Eligius is down - showing as dead in cgminer.   The current pool hashrate is 300 Gh/s - down from 60+ Th/s

Anyone have a preference for a backup pool?  I can't connect to Eligius currently - it appears to be hosed.
