Maybe a bit off topic - but what pool is the best one to point my SP10 to?
Currently I use eligius.

Maybe BTC Guild is better or?

Now I'm used to the noise of SP10 - I might as well get SP30 Tongue

the singing of the SP10 is more pleasant than most 'musicians' these days.
my wife constantly tells me she'd rather sit in the garage and listen to my miners than hear me play guitar and sing.

 Cheesy

Your wife has good taste for music.

i agree. see for yourself, my music is in my sig  Undecided lol

SP-30 Home Edition?  So... 50% of the hash rate of the SP-30 is 2.7TH/s running on a single PSU?  Quiet?  Wow... effectively double the hash power of the SP-10 that I don't need to have a personal data center to run.  Um... yes please!

Actually 3 TH/s

Hey SP-Tech, you've got two customers already for SP20, lets get the ball rolling :-)

+4

We can do SP15, which will be one ASIC board in SP30 2U enclosure with only one PSU.
Better name will be "SP30 home edition", it should be quiet under "Normal" mode.
Due to the management board, enclosure, etc, the cost will be 60% of SP30 and the hash-rate will be 50%

Will such product make sense ?

sounds reasonable. it all depends on the feasibility of the hashpower it offers, by the time it is ready, in equation to the network and difficulty.
personally, i'd take the bigger noise and the bigger hashrate; but i'm sure an SP15 would sell well. more options can always be a good thing - however, too many options and some people end up buying the wrong thing from the menu (i have a wife like this). lol

could a home user get 2 of these sp15's in enclosures rather the an sp30 assuming the "noise' issue?
which i think you said will not be bad on an sp30? i think? you are getting 2 psu's on the sp30's anyway?

just a thought from the sidelines

SP30 will be much quieter than the SP10. Home edition will be even quieter.
The (still) theoretical SP15 is SP30 with only one ASICs board, so the answer for the first question is not.

Hey Zvi,

still I don't feel confident overclocking the 2nd one as the temperature in the room has risen and will install a new air conditioner next week - so will wait.

One of them is right below the air conditioner and works steady without issues overclocked (cold air hits it on almost all of the top surface and it is cold).
The other is 10 cm away from the air conditioner with cold air blowing at the front of it and the top and bottom part of the miner are very hot.
Temperature front is 42C and back 83C which is an issue I think and will leave it till I have the new air conditioner in.

BTW just to report a small "bug" with the graphs on the homepage of the miner status.
Eventhough I have select my timezone (Athens) and miner time says the correct time, the graphs seem to be stuck at GMT (so it is 3 hours back).
So current time is 14:21 but the graph shows 11:20.

Yes, thanks, I seen it too. PHP time-zone different from system timezone. Will fix.
