There's been a lack in updates this week as I've been going over the pool to decide the proper path going forward.  Many scrypt coins are being nuked into oblivion by multipools at the moment, and profitability has dropped sharply over the last few weeks as a result.  Since the 1.6 update to DOGE, it has been 80%+ of our mining time, and about 10% WDC, and the remaining 10% split to various coins for very brief bursts (mostly MEOW/LOT due to their random block rewards occasionally spiking the expected value).


1)  I'm going to be shrinking down the number of coins the pool currently works on, by eliminating coins which are not auto-convertible.  I'll also be removing the entries for the PoW+PoS coins (FTC, NVC, TAG) until I have time to update the pool backend to differentiate between the PoW and PoW+PoS coins.  I'm giving 11 days notice (Dashboard message, so unmissable unless you completely ignore the pool) for those coins that people may have balances for.  Frycoin and Klondikecoin may or may not be fully available due to KDC having a fork with very little warning causing miners to get paid a lot more than they should have (some corrections were made but not enough), and Frycoin is currently broken beyond use for Linux as far as I can tell (permanent "Safe mode" warnings).

2)  Very minor change in reward calculations to reduce the overhead in tracking shifts.  Should be unnoticeable.

3)  Likely adding 1-2 coins to replace the coins being removed, though being very careful about which ones are added.




Depending on how the next month plays out, ScryptGuild may be changed to a more traditional pool for DOGE+LTC, with profit switching between those two (and maybe 2-3 other coins, like WDC, which have shown consistency).  Having more coins is helpful for profitability, but if that profit is too marginal, I'd much rather have a stable pool that allows seamless switching between known good coins and more consistent returns.

I really like this pool....I only have 2.5MH/s now but hopefully more soon. I was really looking forward to the earnings/day charts, I hope those are still coming.

Question: If I set auto sell options for convert to btc for coins that I dont care selling myself or end up being to low quantity to sell right away, then set the ones I do care about to something like 99999 on the convert to btc section, but set them to still auto payout to wallet address at certain number of coins through the automatic wallet payout thresholds then will this still work or will the auto payout to btc mess it up?

I am now going to mine on scryptguild and do you guys expect to add 42 coin in the future? I just started learning about it after joining cryptsy exchange

When I was referring to mining litecoin only, I meant at another litecoin only pool.

You only get a reward if a block is found.  If you are solo mining LTC or Doge, you need either a lot of time, or a lot of hashpower to solve a block.

Not shure about that, even if solo mining balance should be there. At least 0,00000001 LTC.
Maybe is something wrong with acc balances and they are not shown right.

You are basically solo mining if you aren't on the auto switch coin.  That's probably why you aren't getting anything.

Op: not sure why you are offering this feature?  Most users don't seem to understand the implications of it.

I had changed my worker from dogecoin mining to litecoin mining 2 day ago! But i have no litecoin in my balance after these changes!!! Now i switch minining setting to dogecoin back. And i have no new dogecoins in my balance also! Also 2 days ago i did switch off auto-convert to btc. GPUs works fine! My accaunt name is MaximAndrey! Help me pls!

It's hard to know for certain which is better without having real time feeds.  None of the website comparisons are up to date, as none of them have real time data.  I know Coinwarz is a popular one.

With Litecoin increasing in price, I'm wondering if there is a website that might show if its more profitable to mine only litecoin, auto-switch mine (and keep the litecoin), or just auto-switch mine.  How do I know the most profitable choice?

Unless you intend to hang on to any coins which you feel might increase in value, you will only need a Bitcoin address to withdraw funds, as the pool provides an automatic function to exchange other coins for these at regular intervals (you don't mine Bitcoin as such).  But as mdude77 says, you don't need a wallet to mine.

The latter -- no need for a wallet to mine, just to withdraw.

Do I need to enter an address before I can start receiving coins for what I mine? or can I have a balance and update wallet info later for each coin?

I shut it all down cold and restarted and its fine, but you would have never known it looking at it happily hashing along

My hash rate just dropped by like 70% and all my miners are working just fine

3., 4., 5., are up for grabs....aurora, casinocoin and

couldn't find it anywhere on the site but can somebody please tell me if we are paid out automatically (like once a week) if we have a balance below 0.01?  Thanks in advance
