"We intend to resolve this issue in a manner completely fair to everyone once we receive truthful and accurate information from the player."
With the player saying they have sent in their correct information and admitting they were knowledgeably of the non admittance of customers to your site from the usa will you be paying this player their original deposit and or their winnings?
Such you did with the previous two players who were from the same country?

The account holder is NOT the person that he/she states it is, nor are they in the location they state.

Can you show proof of this accusation?

Ronnie is correct in what he is saying...

But they must return the deposit amount you made

Hello everyone,

Ronnie is correct in what he is saying, the delay is entirely my fault. I am from the USA and I didn't even worry about my location or withdrawing bitcoin until I got an email from them asking for my ID and things like that.

At that point, I got very scared. I went from really excited about my winnings to very, very scared I wouldn't get any. I have a good online friend in the Phillipines and I asked for help. I had him give his documents and ID that said the account was from the Phillipines. This was a mistake. As of right now, I have sent cloudbet my real credentials (ID, etc) to cloudbet and they know who I am. I want everyone, including cloudbet, to know that nothing I did was meant to manipulate or mislead cloudbet in anyway. All my wagers were made in good faith and I won them fair and square.

I should have been upfront about my situation from the start and this situation would have gone much more smoothly. I can also say that even though a resolution to this issue has not been come up with yet Ronnie is correct in saying we have recently been in touch and we are making progress on coming up with a solution. I have to say I am thankful for cloudbet being reasonable about my situation especially considering my misleading them about my location. I am very, very hopeful we will come to a conclusion soon. I will keep everybody here updated when this is all over.

Thanks for listening.

"It appears as if the player is now cooperating, so we hope to have a resolution to this case soon."

So if they are cooperating then your company should have a resolution and pay them accordingly.
From everything put forward to this day you havent told the customer in question what exactly it is causing you to not be able to materialize their winning wagers to them.
Because you obviously can afford and able to produce a payout equating the amount they won using your site.
So what exactly is the hold up on the amount of the 330 bitcoin to be paid out to them?
Playing on words is distracting from the one question and isnt helping your cause on the forums and to its members who entail 85-90% of the traffic going to your site for it being dealing in cryptocurrency.

Hi all,

There has been some discontent in the forums and we would like to take this opportunity to clear a few issues up.

Firstly, please be reminded that Cloudbet does NOT accept any USA players.

That is interesting cause one member posted a screenshot where Cloudbet support is convincing him that there would be no problem to gamble there even if he is from USA.

So, conclusion - USA users are allowed to gamble - if they lose - good for Cloudbet, if they win they are not allowed to take the winnings.

This is 1000 time that i repeat it, they don't want winners. They are cheating manipulative scumbags.

  • The account holder is NOT the person that he/she states it is, nor are they in the location they state.
This matters why exactly? You've said it yourself, if they're from a restricted country then you return the balance. The user has proven that the originating addresses are owned by them, and that is sufficient. Here we have it, yet another delay. Just send them their money to the addresses where it came from and ban/delete them permanently. This takes very little time.

I suggested the same in the scam accusations topic. It's time to take prompt action instead of all these drama. They have already taken enough time.

By the way cloudbet, I left a question for you there too. I hope you address it.

Archived for reference.

Please delete my account permanently and please send me my account balance. To end this, I am sorry for everything and I hope it will be resolved today. Please email me and please respond on AskGamblers.

You should ask for your earning as well ... If I were I would have contacted my local newspaper or anything, they will listen to you because they don't like crypto currencies and its  a good opportunity for them to talk about cryptocurrencies in bad

Cloudbet,  move on from Bitcointalk, your reputation is destroyed ! FOREVER !

Cloudbet | Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Since 2013
Hi all,

There has been some discontent in the forums and we would like to take this opportunity to clear a few issues up.

Firstly, please be reminded that Cloudbet does NOT accept any USA players.

USA players are blocked from registering accounts, and are blocked from making bets. If any player from USA attempts to make an account, they see a message saying USA players are prohibited and are not able to sign up.

To reiterate, players from USA are NOT allowed on Cloudbet.

If we have strong reason to believe that a player has deliberately and willingly circumvented our terms of service by connecting from USA (or another restricted territory), we freeze their account while we conduct an investigation, and ask the player to provide documentation on their residency. Please note that this is only when we strongly suspect that a player has connected from USA, ie, there is specific evidence to suggest this.

In most cases, the player is cooperative and provides us with accurate documentation about their account and residency. If they are a USA resident, we close their account permanently, and return their account balance. This has been the case with several vocal users in the forum. Sometimes this can take some time, as every case is slightly different, but is always resolved eventually provided the player furnishes us with accurate information.

If they are connecting from a non-restricted country, we reopen their account and they can resume using their account without limitation.

Please note that in all cases where the player has cooperated, they have received their entire account balance, and had their accounts closed only if they were connecting from a prohibited jurisdiction (or there was a separate unrelated issue). If any forum members in this situation would come forward and confirm receipt of their account balances in full, this would be appreciated.

However - on rare occasions, the player is NOT cooperative and provides us with deliberately falsified or fraudulent information. In these cases, our investigations are significantly more complicated and time consuming.

There is one specific case that has received a lot of attention from the community - Swofty - as the dollar amount is particularly large. Here is our comment on the case:

  • As we have a duty of privacy to all of our players, we are limited in what we can share. The player may have shared some details, but we are not able to share any specifics or personal data.
  • That said, we can share definitively that the player has knowingly and deliberately provided untruthful, falsified and fraudulent information to both Cloudbet and the community.
  • The account holder is NOT the person that he/she states it is, nor are they in the location they state.
  • The player also knowingly and deliberately circumvented our terms of service by connecting from a prohibited jurisdiction.
  • The reason the player has not been paid yet is entirely to do with them circumventing our terms of service and providing falsified and fraudulent information, and nothing to do with our bitcoin liquidity (more on that below).
  • As the customer provided us with definitively falsified information, we suggested they reach out to Curacao Egaming - with whom we hold a licence - for assistance. This is the correct escalation for any player issues.
  • We intend to resolve this issue in a manner completely fair to everyone once we receive truthful and accurate information from the player.
  • It appears as if the player is now cooperating, so we hope to have a resolution to this case soon.

We have been encouraged by the way the community has responded to rally behind the player and help hold Cloudbet accountable, however in this case the player has not been truthful with the community. We encourage the player to share a more accurate story.

Separately, concerns have been raised about Cloudbet's ability to service the player's withdrawal immediately. You needn’t be concerned - we hold enough funds to cover all of our player balances several times over, and we would never accept a bet that we could not pay in full immediately. We have been around since 2013 and have always celebrated our largest winners, and paid extremely promptly.

We would like to address this in the way requested by the community -- a signed message from a wallet that holds sufficient funds to cover any liabilities that may be due to this player.

We have signed a message from a wallet holding ~1157 BTC. All outputs spent to this wallet are from wallets that belong to us, and had not moved in over a year (we sent them to a single wallet for the purpose of this exercise) so they are not newly acquired coins.  We would be happy to sign another message from any of the source wallets to prove ownership if required.

Wallet: 16vk7DahVgj4VsfKKdr1pG3QJ9FvzXpdJN
Message: cloudbet.com // no USA players allowed
Signature: HxO5QwkA/UNVePahBUzYgWL4Zz5syTC1H6/LeHICsvW0MYG9Q+PgOjNbzVXgXsLbadzFO2wLlz25nsbaXkeTXo4=

You can verify the above message in your bitcoin client, or by using the web interface here

I hope that addresses the community's immediate concerns. If anybody has any further questions or follow-up, please feel free to contact us directly via our support channels, or post a reply in this thread and we will do our best to address them in a timely manner.

Once more, to reiterate, Cloudbet does NOT accept USA players.

Thanks for your continued support, patience, and diligence.

What makes you think Swofty is “Letting things be”? I personally think Swofty gets paid today.
I am monitoring this case closely and i have seen many complaints against them in the past but they have solved them in my view and so is the reason they are active till now if not they would have closed by this time, you cannot scam any user and think about running a business here, so i hopefully think that they will sort this issue and since this is a huge amount i am not sure what they will be planning to do, if a players losses that amount they will be happy but looks like if someone wins it is difficult to get the coins.

This is a good example of someone that let things be after cloudbet scammed him:

Avoid cloud bet at all cost. They owe me 35 bitcoins (from the time when bitcoin was trading at $13500/coin).  I am a high-roller who follows Betting resource.com's 10 unit picks. They recommend only to play at betcris and pinnacle but the limits there are low and decided to jump in on cloudbet since they offered the 5 bitcoin bonus plus high limits. I deposited 20 bitcoins and I received 5 bonus bitcoins. All was good. Limits were ridiculously high and and I was very happy following the tips. Long story short, I ran up my account to 60 units total in few months and problems arose when I requested the first withdrawal for 25 units. It staid pending for days without explanation. When i contacted them, they kept giving excuse of internal reviews and investigations. Then they asked so many documents, some were ridiculous requests and i complied with everything they asked. By this point i was suspicious and stopped betting with them. Their review/investigation last 2 months and finally they completed the investigation and concluded that my "betting pattern" is against their terms and conditions. I asked them which and they failed to explain further. They told me that my account has been closed and gave me option to withdraw my 20 bitcoin deposited and gave my 48 hour ultimatum and if I don't accept the offer, I get nothing. I had no choice but to accept the offer. At the time i deposited the 20 bitcoins, it was trading around 13.5k/coin. When i received the 20 bitcoins, bitcoin was worth about $8000. Not only did I lose my winnings and bonus but I also lost a lot of value on my deposit.

To date they haven't given me explanation on how I broke the terms and conditions. i did not have any betting pattern. all i did was follow my tipster and flat bet 4 bit coins on each tip. All bets for same amount. There is nothing in their terms and conditions that states this type of betting is disallowed.

This book is very bad. I guess many people don't know since they are losing gamblers but if you are a big winner, they will show their real colors.

@Ronnie - what are your views on this:

That’s some list Jolly. And these are the ones reported on bitcointalk. I bet you that it is only a small fraction of cloudbet’s indiscretions. A lot of people don’t know about this forum and would just let it slide.

The 330 btc case has brought cloudbet's shadiness to the fore due to the large amount involved, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they have taken players for a combined total way more than that.

@Swofty is really patient , and if I were him, I’d get my lawyers and law enforcement involved immediately.

Swofty is scared that the money is long gone so he is going through phases, it was anger now its hope and he doesn't want to lose that hope and wants to get his money handed back to him by asking politely since demanding didn't work.
Changing tone is a wise strategy because his main purpose is just to get his money back and I'm sure once he succeeded, he will not play again in this site. The red trust given by DTs is fair enough to consider the bad history of the site, considering they will pay him, it will not change the fact that once in the past, they are trying to scam people.

If cloudbet was planning to run with the money I don’t think they would have paid Ginalli 38 bitcoins or youngamericandream his 1.7 bitcoins.

It seems like they are taking care of each case 1 by 1.

The time has come though... And Cloudbet needs to pay Swofty his winnings now  Cool
It does seem they are taking care of these cases one by one but it shouldnt really take the amount of time to resolve his case as it has.
And for those two customer of theirs you mentioned wouldnt you think 1.7 and 38 btc is much more than 335+ btc and if they would to tuck tail and run it would be at this amount to be paid out?
I would think so and thus the cause of delay after delay and even to the point of changing their own terms of services during the processing of this payment.
The two users above yours are right.
They do hold the decision of whether to who they make payments to and a change of tone was the right thing to do.
Because having a cooler temperment does in fact prevail in most cases.

It is almost ALWAYS threats. Swofty did get angry when he realized cloudbet stole his money, he came here and did what we saw he did and tried to get them to pay him.

Cloudbet probably realized that there is no returning from this and they will either pay him or will be gone and there is no middle ground (after all of this they will be gone even if they pay him anyway) and now they are threatening Swofty that unless he fixes the issue of bad branding they will probably not react quickly but if their image is recovered and fixed and Swofty writes couple of good words and supports cloudbet and fixes the issue than they will respond to this quicker.

Cloudbet will resolve the case. And I will be back when got update. But they are doing their best to solve the case. Props to them.

Swofty

Glad they work on it, and thank you for giving us an update.
Thanks to the big community here in bitcointalk especially the DT members who tagged cloudbet, if not because of them
I don't think your problem will be resolve this fast.

Good luck, hopefully next time your update is about your problem solve.

Shitbet still alive? On life support?

Maybe they just made a hold to exchange Bitcoin to Bitcoin Cash cause of hard fork, to cover their loss.

Shitbet's ways are so mysterious.

Swofty getting paid is all that matters. Sounds like you are bitter 4x4. When Swofty gets paid you won’t have anything to bitch about.

U predict the future now?

Also, have you no shame - you were publicly crying here, saying Shitbet scammed you and your friend - man, I just live for the day when I can burn people like you with fire.

Is that a threat I need to report to the authorities? Cloudbet is in the process of taking care of the issue and everyone should be getting paid. Cloudbet and it’s employees have been in communication via private channels while resolving our issues.

I'm so scary over the internet?

You ain't even seen me in person lol.

Do what you please, and say hello to the authorities.

Buddy, if you were a woman, you would be that cheapest whore kind - judging by your character.

"Shitbet i will sucky sucky, you pay me good!"
