Out of curiosity, if management have no strict rules against VPN then how they fight against promotion abusers..

Offhand, there's the way bitcointalk does it. Allow vpns and previously banned ips but disable certain abilities. So a site could disable bonuses/promotions/affiliate activity, etc on ips that are vpns or have been banned before.

I don't know Cloudbet's position on this issue. But I know that many players from Russia play via VPN in cloudbet and they have no problems. In Russia, blocked all betting sites except sites licensed in Russia. More recently, cloudbet did not require anything about vpn maybe the policy has changed ?
My guess is that they don't filter IPs in database for specific country but they have right to ask reason behind using VPN. Asking KYC from customers is enough to solve this issues imho. Out of curiosity, if management have no strict rules against VPN then how they fight against promotion abusers..

AGD815 - I’ve spoken to our teams and they are confident in our findings when it comes to the player you contacted us about. The account was logged in to from multiple countries within minutes, and unless he’s discovered a way to teleport then it’s a clear case of VPN usage.

As I’ve stressed before, and despite the player trying to mislead us with claims of travel, we still allowed all deposits to be reclaimed before closing the account. I understand you are unhappy with this decision, but continuing to make threats of legal action and negative PR campaigns will not change this decision.

Youngamericandream - After investigating further our teams are confident that a VPN was used to bypass our territory restrictions. If you can provide evidence that disproves this then we should be able to get the whole issue settled very quickly.

I have used sports book and a bit of slots  at Cloudbet for 4/5 months, based in Australia. Probably lost .4/.5 btc overall. Small ball regular small deposit but I enjoy micro sports bets for interest. Was playin a slot a few hours ago had only about .002 btc in account (lol) went to exit the slot and got error message saying Australia is restricted territory so I’m blocked. Had about .002 bal and about .002 pending bets and now locked out, no warning. Confused as didn’t know Australia banned obviously as no problem betting depositing etc. have mentioned to support I’m in Australia multiple times and told all good initially when signing up. Small amount but what the hell

You should ask all bitcoin that you lost betting there, cause they said they will refund if betting from restricted country.

Good call. I think for the rest of us used to it, we know which users are just spamming their service (which itself has a lot of trust ratings),,, and which are actually trying to help. The guy is almost in every thread just not being very helpful.

Back to topic though, why is Cloudbet not saying there the company is? I thought they already said their license is from Montenegro?

Guys,

This has gotten very scammy and fishy. I just asked Lilly on chat what cloudbets adresss was. She refused to give me a address.

I then asked her what country cloudbet was located in and she wouldn’t even tell me that.


This is normal for shady companies operating illegally. And cloudbet seem borderline shady to me. The amounts involved are mind boggling, they owe someone on askgamblers 330 bitcoins: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/cloudbet-casino-delayed-330-btc-payment

they also refuse to pay 38 btc to one of my friend. he lost lots of money and when he earn once they show their real face. and they get a report from evolution gaming just telling he used the roullette interface to save his bets.

this is the dispute he has written by his words. :

 I have been playing at Cloudbet since September 2018 and never had issues, but this time I had and nobody replies besides the casino marketing guy through WhatsApp and every time he says something else.

But there is some shady thing that i want to mention. Here is what happened. I play Live Roulette game from January 11th until 14th. 95% I lose since September. Anyone knows the game, will agree, that it's really hard to win. Anyway, after I played long hours I had 38 BTC and I requested withdraw. My account is suspended.

First of all, this report was prepared on Jan 20th, when i contacted them on Jan 25th they told me they still waiting for the report. They sent me the report yesterday which is 28th.

Second, the report says that I played from saved bets, which is correct because the platform gives you an option to save your bets and play, or you can play repeat bets. If you play like that and win they tell you this is not the right way to play Smiley SO WHY DO YOU HAVE THIS OPTION ON YOUR PLATFORM?

Third, the report says that I placed my bets from saved bets average of 4 seconds before the ball dropped which might be correct but again, the platform let you bet after they span the ball, so if you don't want the player play like that why do you have that option on the game.

Fourth, when they made this report they are stating Cloudbet that they will keep watching my actions and asking Cloudbet let them know if they want to block my account. So in another word they don't know my account was blocked on the day of withdraw. So Cloudbet blocking the account and waits for couple days and then take actions and find excuses not to pay. I think they get the winning from the casinos and gain some time and never pay the big winning.

Fifth, the report states that I opened the account on Sep. 25th, 2018, but they analyze only from Jan 11-14th. If they go back and analyze all my play from Sep. 25th - Jan. 14th, they will see that I always play the same way and I have been loosing.
So in reality if there is a software how i have been loosing...
I really want to thank to this website to be our (victims) voice!
I did not cheat nor used any software, I am a businessman and I like to gamble, but this is stealing.

38 BTC it is a lot of money and this is not profit. Only that day I deposit more than 11 BTC to that account to play and after I got lucky I ended up withdrawing 38 BTC.

The mistake you made there is a huge difference between Halcyon Holding BV and Halcyon Super Holdings BV!

Ireland, Netherlands and US is without Super.

Is cloudbet's country of origin a mystery?

I see you are offering services against the casino scams for the players you should know about these information better than any of us.

If they can force KYC on the players then their company information should be accessible but I can't seem to find anything about "Halcyon Super Holdings B.V."

Also they claim that they are licensed by E-Gambling Montenegro and Curaçao (a Caribbean country) eGaming. Maybe contacting them would lead to some answers.

As much as I'd like to see them doing it, it is probably not an option. As far as I know cloudbet is company from Ireland and I recently read in the forum that in the Netherlands KYC is not forced. (This still needs a confirmation) It seems like the only way out of this is to move the company from Ireland to somewhere else where they don't care about KYC. Otherwise, KYC will stay.

At this point I am not sure which one is cloudbet. Taking a wild guess, it is probably the one in the Netherlands because it has "BV" on its name. The others don't.
