Full disclosure before I comment. I am not a player at cloudbet. But I am a player in a pool for sports (English football) which they are sponsoring. I have from my observations seen the reputation of cloudbet as a good sportsbook with customer support that is responsive. However, these latest series of accusations are beginning to wear down the site.

My advice as a third party observer to Cloubet. Better remove KYC for future. OR insist KYC before signing up. It is a huge problem for other casinos as you can see.

The solution to these type of issues can be summed up pretty easily - if you are a resident of a country that we cannot offer our services to (USA, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore) then please don’t create an account at Cloudbet using a VPN to bypass our systems. There are plenty of alternatives out there who will happily accept players from those territories and you wont run the risk of having your account closed and bets voided.
Wait a second scam artist Ronnie, when your security software detected that different IP addresses logged in within minutes, why did not it block the account?

Because,

1) If player loses everything is fine

2) If player wins, there is suddenly the need to check the identity even though you already know that several IP addresses were used!


Your terms prohibit the use of VPN, but when you detect it and let him knowingly continue, then letting him play is valid and not what your terms say.

If a bank has a deposit limit of $10,000 in the terms and I ask to deposit $20,000 and they take it, then the $20,000 deposit is valid and they can not afterwards confiscate $10,000 with claiming that the terms state a $10,000 deposit limit.

I trust everyone with a decent brain is able to understand what I explained and see what a shady bastard Ronnie is!

However, if you were too lazy to put "cloudbet scam" into google, GP still can assist you enforcing your money. Smiley

I agree. This is exactly what happens with me.

I have been playing at Cloudbet since September 2018 and never had issues, but this time I had and nobody replies besides the casino marketing guy through WhatsApp and every time he says something else.

But there is some shady thing that I want to mention. Here is what happened. I play Live Roulette game from January 11th until 14th. 95% I lose since September 20. Anyone knows the game, will agree, that it's really hard to win. Anyway, after I played long hours I had 38 BTC and I requested withdraw. My account is suspended.

First of all, this report was prepared on Jan 20th, when I contacted them on Jan 25th they told me they still waiting for the report. They sent me the report yesterday which is 28th.
Second, the report says that I played from saved bets, which is correct because the platform gives you an option to save your bets and play, or you can play repeat bets. If you play like that and win they tell you this is not the right way to play Smiley SO WHY DO YOU HAVE THIS OPTION ON YOUR PLATFORM?
Third, the report says that I placed my bets from saved bets average of 4 seconds before the ball dropped which might be correct but again, the platform lets you bet after they span the ball, so if you don't want the player play like that why do you have that option on the game.
Fourth, when they made this report they are stating Cloudbet that they will keep watching my actions and asking Cloudbet let them know if they want to block my account. So, in other words, they don't know my account was blocked on the day of withdrawing. So Cloudbet blocking the account and waits for couple days and then take actions and find excuses not to pay. I think they get the winning from the casinos and gain some time and never pay the big winning.
Fifth, the report states that I opened the account on Sep. 25th, 2018, but they analyze only from Jan 11-14th. If they go back and analyze all my play from Sep. 25th - Jan. 14th, they will see that I always play the same way and I have been loosing.

So in reality, if there is software how I have been loosing...
I really want to thank this page to be our (victims) voice!
I did not cheat nor used any software, I am a businessman and I like to gamble, but this is stealing.

38 BTC it is a lot of money and this is not profit. Only that day I deposit more than 11 BTC to that account to play and after I got lucky I ended up withdrawing 38 BTC.

<< January 13th >> - I deposited 11 BTC into my account on cloudbet.com
<< January 14th >> - Cloudbet sent me an email and asked the ID and some documents and I sent them right away, since then they tell me, our security team is an investigation.
<< January 15th >> - My account is suspended. I had a chat on Cloudbet.com with Lily. She said that I will get verified in a few days. That this is their standard procedure. When I asked about my account she said: «Your account is suspended for the period of verification, but your funds are safe with us. I am very sorry for all the inconveniences you’re dealing with. From my side, I’ll leave a note for the team regarding your request and will try to do my best to help you get your request solved as quickly as possible.»
All my withdrawals have been canceled and my balance is $38.3441 BTC.
<< January 20th >> - Received a player risk analysis report from EvolutionGaming. The report issued: 20th of January 2019.
<< January 24th >> - I contacted a customer support chat again with Molly and ask for an update. Molly: «I have looked into your ticket, and I can confirm, that your account has not yet been fully verified, in scenarios like this we request our game provider to check the winnings. Sadly they are overloaded with requests and have not yet gotten back to us.».
To my questions «Why?» «How long it will take?» Molly replied: «I can’t give you an answer on that as the accounts are being investigated by our Player Safety team, it is completely out of my reach, unfortunately. I’m afraid I cannot give you a time frame on this, it depends when the game providers will be able to get back to us again.»
<< January 25th >> - I contacted a customer support chat again with Matthew and ask for an update. I got the same answer as Molly told me yesterday.
<< January 28th >> - Contacted Molly on the chat at Cloudbet.com. I told her that I contacted Casino marketing guy and Andy told me that reports are ready! Molly’s reply: «The investigation was conducted by the game provider, where an in-depth analysis was conducted. The email from Andy is our final decision on the matter, as such, I have no further information to offer. The balance on the account has been confiscated. It means that your account will stay closed and funds frozen». When I asked, «Frozen means you keep the funds?» The chat joined Steve, and he replied «The funds on the account, as they were accumulated again our terms have been removed from the account. As such, your account has a 0.00 balance and will remain closed. This is our final decision on the matter.»

AGD815 - I’ve spoken to our teams and they are confident in our findings when it comes to the player you contacted us about. The account was logged in to from multiple countries within minutes, and unless he’s discovered a way to teleport then it’s a clear case of VPN usage.

As I’ve stressed before, and despite the player trying to mislead us with claims of travel, we still allowed all deposits to be reclaimed before closing the account. I understand you are unhappy with this decision, but continuing to make threats of legal action and negative PR campaigns will not change this decision.

@Cloudbet, I'm again here to talk about missing lines from various events and league. Today I visited your website and wanted to bet on some basketball matches. I noticed that number of available leagues and matches to bet increased (probably I saw full list of events). I tried to bet on one match, but I got error "your bet wasn't placed". I tried to reload page and most of these leagues and matches disappeared. Now only few leagues is available (NBA, NCAA, Euroleague, Euroleague women, Australia, Finland, Brazil, Denmark and Italy leagues).

@LTU_btc - I'm really sorry about this, there's a few people reporting a similar issue (@Angryone) but the last update I received on the investigation was that our teams were having difficulty replicating the problem while testing, despite me passing on the details and reports from the affected accounts.

I'll send a message now asking for an update and let you know any info I receive on the issue.

Altough I've lost any hopes that anything can be done in here, will ask one more time.

Have tried to bet quite recently and still problems is as last 3 months. You show limit of ex. 0,20000, while I use max stakes, the limit changes to 0,0002 that's for pre game, while for live betting all bets are declined, maybe 1/10 if I enter 0,00001 stake it will go through, but what's the point of it ? ofc max limit shows 0,3 in the same time

Hope you can give honest answer once and for all.

That is even scarier. I mean think about it getting scammed is something common in bitcointalk, yeah its horrible but honestly at this point I am not shocked when someone is scammed in crypto world. However, threatening someone with police and so forth as a casino literally means they signed their own death penalty. Who would play on cloudbet from now on? If they didn't even return your money, we would say they were doing some reviews and all that, even if they just froze the account temporarily while checking your documents that would be fine.

Also, if they paid you your money but blocked your account afterwards basically saying "you played here long enough and here is your money but don't comeback because of jurisdiction problems" that would have been fine as well. However keeping your money and than telling you not to make a scene or they will call the cops on you literally means "we do not want to be a casino anymore please let everyone know we are scamming people".

I have never... I mean never heard a casino threaten to call the police due to a player requesting his or her winnings on a bet they accepted.

They must be close to out of bitcoin. I don’t know what else it could be.

This could be resolved so simply. Pay the 2 players there winnings for the bets you accepted.

They aren’t even large payouts. 1.7 bitcoin and 3.5 bitcoin. Just pay up like a book should and everyone can go on there merry way.

Nobody tried to defraud cloudbet. If either player would have lost cloudbet would have kept the coin no questions asked and you wouldn’t see the players crying for a refund.

You are barking at the wrong tree. That piece of shit is being payed by Cloudbet to be their campaign manager, aka complicit in crime.

Yea... they seem to be digging themselves a even bigger hole by the minute. My guess is they were hoping for a huge payday on Super Bowl Sunday. Did you notice the max bet was like 45 bitcoin for the Super Bowl? Imagine taking a deposit of 45 bitcoin and not needing any KYC. But requiring KYC for a 1.7 and 3.5 bitcoin payout.

And wow.. the player gained a unfair advantage with software? I would say it’s a unfair advantage to base KYC on whether a customer wins or losses. Lol

As much as I like Cloudbet, this KYC stuff is going to be a big problem for all those centralized casinos. If they don't find a solution (and it seems like there isn't one since the centralized casinos are tax payers) decentralized casinos will take over and both casino owners and governments will lose money. This is internet you can't stop people. They failed to stop torrent, they failed to stop mp3, they failed to stop bitcoin.

They will surely fail to stop people who want to gamble without handing over their passports. It is only a matter of time. Just let it go and everybody wins...
