Every gambling website selling services to Italian customers must be specifically authorised and monitored by Italian government.
You must abide to a series of regulations and certifications, otherwise, it’s ban.
Basically, all gambling sites are blocked by default, and you get to obtain this authorisation in order to make your website visible.

Welcome to Italy!
There are lot of regulations for the gambling business in Italy by the government and Land casino and online casinos have the the different governing authorities with variation in rules and prohibitions. But as you see most of them are VPN users but the government always want to have them under their control and generate tax revenues from them .

Just going through this file of Italian gambling rules : Gambling in Italy and the list is long and not surprised as they are having the same like any other country in which they allow something is good otherwise they are illegal.

Cloudbet has been firewalled from Italy:

This is not a huge problem, as many Italian gamblers are used to VPNs to circumvent that kind of limitation.

Sorry but what kind of restriction is this? Is this ban in gambling or just an ISP censorship for all gambling website? We know many sad story about VPN used on gambling while used it to the user as an excused to freeze there account in the event that they win a jackpot or huge prize. This might a violation of country policy against online gambling if you are dodging the restrictions by using VPN to access casino.

Just assuming the picture is about online gambling restrictions since I can’t understand the language.

Customs and Monopolies Agency (Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli or ADM) is a governmental tax agency in Italy that carries out technical and operational activities for the Ministry of Finance. If they block a gambling website, it means that the casino doesn't have a valid license to operate in Italy. Using VPN to access a blocked website is, of course, against the law as well.

How did it happen?

I think like gambling is very common in Europe and many European countries are opened with gambling industry. Is there change in Italian regulations against Cryptocurrency and gambling industry that I did not know?

Cloudbet is a very old casino and it is weird to see they are blocked by firewall just recently by Italy.

In addition, with gambling I don't think it is good to use VPN because of risk. You can be fallen into multi account accusation and your account will be frozen as it breaks Terms of condition. Withdrawal can be rejected too.

That is good news to read, I am glad the problems you reported earlier are no longer affecting your access and it probably means someone from the Cloudbet team has taken note of the comments being posted here. If they took steps to remedy them then it means they are taking notice of what is being said here.

I just want to inform you that the problem I reported earlier, no longer occurs. I can access the site without any problems.

I don't know if they did something or not, but what is certain is that at the moment it is working.

EDIT: even so, I know that in some cases it's still not possible.

This is good to know, perhaps they fixed the issue from their side. I am mentioning @fillippone here to confirm if he can now access the site without the error message.

I have not heard bad reputation from users about cloudbet, so I give you credit for that. In any gambling platform, the main thing that causes problem is cash transaction, once a platform tackles that side very well then there nothing to worry about it , people will coming to play your games day and night. Though as a platform of casino people or customers must complain about one or the other, but that, if you are genuinely paying the wins and staff then all is well. And also your sportbook is well rich. I really love the sportbook features. And the article or the OP thread is very nice. The language is very simple for average reader in the forum. I also want you to add more games to the site for users to play. Such games like, Draft game, Motorsports, 100 meter race and any other games that can make people to just have fun and visit the site frequently.

@JollyGood this is definitely a cache issue, and probably something the Cloudbet admin should check as one of the settings is probably causing this issue on the website.

Also this issue can come from the hosting side too and not necessarily a third party like cloudflare, but this issue is not a major one and once Cloudbet reports it then it should be fixed almost instantly, hence whenever you’ll see this issue post it here so they can pass it to the relevant people who can in turn provide a fix for it.
There has been some attacks on all of the crypto casinos for a while now and most of them already fixed it, but some places may still face the same issue. Maybe it's about that? I can't say if it is about that or not, but I can say that there is something like that going on, that's for sure.

TOR would be a problem with reaching to the website because that means that you should not be playing here and you are using loopholes to do that, which is not really a way to go, I would honestly suggest otherwise and not to do that at all. I get that it's not going to be a simple thing, but I really hope that people would stay away from places that they should stay away from, or accept the risks they are taking.

Maybe cache or maybe something else but what you said about websites fixing these types of issues immediately when reported is right but I think they should start rewarding members that are posting here in the forum or sending them hints, tips and email suggestions.

Cloudbet are easily in a position to show appreciation to those that try to advise or contribute to the better functioning of their website.

Thank you for the information. I did not experience that with Cloudbet.

For what it is worth I have definitely never registered or sent funds to Cloudbet but every time I tried to visit the website I never encountered any issues. Given time maybe I will use TOR and try to see what happens when their servers are accessing from different countries.

I think from time to time it can happen if you catch a website at a time when there is heavy load on the servers or the CDN being used. I am not sure what has happened in this case but there are other websites I have checked that clearly display a notice stating game players (gamblers) from such and such country are banned from playing,

Checking by using different browsers first and then another device probably should be investigated too of something like that happens.
Cloudbet also displays a similar message if one is from a country that is blacklisted by them

In fact, the site loads normally until one tries to log in or registered. That's when the banner with the message appears. As for the above cases, the site does not completely load.

I have tested the site several times and not once have I had a problem. I tested it on a laptop and a computer, as well as different browsers. The site is stable. Even at times when there were a lot of matches live, this was no problem for the interface. Cloudbet has been in the gambling industry for many years, so they know how to apply the technology. I once saw a message that certain payments with other coins were not possible. Bitcoin was not one of them.

I am almost certain the block is at ISP level, who’s forced by government agencies to block “non authorised by the Italian law” websites from displaying their services in Italy.
Everything is working fine for me, website loads much faster than some other gambling websites like Fortunejack for me.
Maybe you can contact their support and ask them for explanation why you have this issues, and check if this happens with different computers and browsers.

Site works flawlessly on my computer. I also tried different browsers, and they all worked without any problems. Once logged in, the bets are a bit disappointing, as someone mentioned earlier. It should be noted that you can bet high on popular competitions, so I don't think it is a problem at all. The website has had the same functional layout for years and is very clear. There is no reason to improve or adjust it.

I have difficulties accessing the website from Italy.
I am on the move currently, so it could be a network-related issue, as If I use a VPN the website opens regularly.

Probably, as gambling is restricted to websites authorised by the government authority, the access is restricted.
The website is just fine, and they don't restrict players from Italy from using their casino according to their terms and conditions

I am still somehow certain that the ISPs from your country are blocking access to Cloudbet. Given that it's one of the oldest Bitcoin gambling sites, unlike the many new gambling sites that you may still be able to access, the blockade may have happened sometime back.
