Great site, I find it very useful!  Is there a way to get the api data for the litecoin profitability, similar to the bitcoin profitability?

Thanks again,
Jim

Yep - http://www.coinchoose.com/api.php?base=ltc

Awesome!  Thank you.

Please Add RealCoin to coinchoose.com, realcoin is now on the exchange platform: https://btcltc.com

That exchange doesn't meet my requirement of having an API.

Your Hypercoin data appears to be based on an outdated pre-fork client. Good data is at http://explorer.hycco.in/chain/Hypercoin but the coin appears to be dead. About 2 days with no blocks.

Fixed.

argentum will have an average of  a 3 coin reward per block based on the random reward system of 1 - 5.

it shouldn't be 1 coin per block like it is indicated on your site.

(1+5)/2 = 3.

Just have to agree to disagree.  If there is any probability that the next block mined would be 1, then that is what I should have on the site.  I need to be conservative.

ARG has a random coin reward between 1 and 5 per the info thread and it isn't quite random but some other factors are involved.  Until I can figure out a way to accurately predict it for the next block, I am erring on the side of being conservative.

Is there a compelling reason to know the values of the block currently being mined?

How would accuracy be affected by only using values up to the last solved block?

Just a thought   Wink

ARG has 3 coin avg block reward not just 1

just saying..

can't someone look at the past rewards and determine what the average block reward has been since it was released?  It's obviously not 1.

Perhaps.  Though I think stating it as 1 is correct since it allows the user of CoinChoose to really decide and doesn't artificially inflate profitability.  ARG is really an auto-CC proof coin (and this random block reward was meant to specifically prevent the auto-switchers).
