It really can't stop the NBA from reopening. I'm sure even my son is excited to watch his favorite sport on TV again. He has something else to focus on besides playing mobile games. Yes, we will admit that the risks will not be lost due to the virus, but the organizers will not allow that as long as they follow the protocols and no ordinance will be violated. Maybe my son can help guess which team will win the match.

It is said that Westbrook and Harden tested positive for the virus? Will they be able to play? I mean I don't think the teams would be accepting to play if one of their star players have the virus and can't play.

not really sure, I think they have to rest for some time, they also have to test negative for a few times for them to be covid free. It wasn't really that safe cause there are people who are covid free but got reinfected again. So it wasn't really that safe for me... not to discriminate but I'm sure some players wasn't really that comfortable with them playing if they are tested positive just recently.

I really wanted the season to continue, that is why I am so happy when I heard they will resume it but the problem is this. Not just because they can't play but this can affect the results of the continuation of this season. Another thing is that they are still at risk. I think they will be limiting the players and just chose the safe ones.

This is just messed up. If they really continue the season, I think this is a gamble for them. I hope they are just fine.

Everyone is gamble at this point of our life, but the NBA made all the measures to ensure that virus will not spread in the venue.
Of course, those players that are positive with covid-19, they need to recover first before they can come back to play, and the organization already has the rules and guidelines for that.

They resume for the fans, for them, and for the economy, that's the reasons, so let's support them.

Not only NBA but all the sports around the world are resumed or are very close to resume. Most of these sports are played in stadiums without the crowds with all possible precautionary measures. I think this is beneficial for the sports and players to alteast have the games to play and continue their sporting career.

If you are familiar with the NBA, there's a lot of players and staff who are already infected, but that was during in the process or before they travel to Orlando, but there's always the risk here, so let's hope that once the league formally resume their season, there would be no more infections that will be recorded.

That will be very difficult, even if the majority of the players take the right precautions you only need a few of them to slip once or twice to get infected and if they do not show symptoms for quite some time then they could infect many players, I am pretty sure this is a nightmare scenario for the NBA and they will try to avoid it at all costs but when battling with an invisible enemy even the smallest mistake could force the NBA to shutdown again.

Obviously, these infected staffs and players should follow the protocols, that just means undergoing tests and self quarantine. Another thing is that it also means they will be out of the games for a while to make sure that other players and staffs can't be contaminated making the run of the season better.

This game has a big fan based so probably all eyes are on them now although they haven't started yet, the success of the season does not only mean success for them only but mostly to the fans waiting to see them play again, and in just 8 games per team I guess, it will be playoffs where it's more exciting and of course more bets will shower as people now would choose to gamble online than going to a physical casino.

As per WHO the virus will decide when it will leave until then we need to find a way to live with it. Across the globe scientist are trying their level best to come out with a vaccine as soon as they can but, it will take time until then we cannot stop the everything. Some also says that the virus will be here for a long time already and some saying that it will be here forever.
Either way, lets adopt to the new normal already. When a vaccine will be created, for sure many countries will buy the virus to lessen the deaths.

People who are in the vulnerable group are mostly those elderly who have low immune systems and those who are prone to different diseases/infections. Well, I think that they know what they are doing right now and it seems like there is no way for the sports to be stopped again like what happened months ago especially in NBA. There are many players who decided not to play anymore because they are tested positive and some have family matters but there is no sign that the resume of the season will be postponed.

Anyway, lets just hope that these players not only in basketball but in different sports will not be infected by this virus.

I do support them, it is just that it keeps me worrying since it is a risk but still, I do agree that they do this not just for themselves but also for the people.

It is not just the players though, they will be going to places and that is another thing to worry but I guess you are right, they might be able to handle it. The question though is how would these places earn without the fans watching? I think if they will be following some measure to take care of their players they will not allow fans to watch the game.

If they are not ready, they won't reopen the event. I think the sports event organizer already collaborate with the local government and local medical to support the events. And if necessary, they will ask help from the local medical to stand by at the stadium to help check people who are involved, and I am sure that they will do that. We don't want to see another victim after the events to prevent by checking and scanning people, especially for every player who will play.

Yup, for sure there's tons of doctors or medical practitioners involved and I believe they can do their job, its just that its still carry cause even them can acquire the virus with all those precautions, all we can do is hope that it will all be fine and no cases happen inside the bubble.
