Age doesn't really matter much to the people who are buying them (might increase their value marginally but not by much). Age has no real additional benefits to people on signature campaigns at the end of the day and Rank is still the prominent feature over it.

as till now i have observed..the prices will be something like this..
[centre]jr.member account = 0.002btc - 0.005btc
member account=0.01btc - 0.025btc
full member=0.06btc - 0.1btc
sr.member= 0.15btc - 0.3/0.4btc
hero member= 0.5btc - 0.8btc
legentry member=1btc - 2.5btc or more

These seem mostly accurate. I think the accounts going towards the lower end of your estimates only do so when the ownership of the account cannot be proven though. Accounts with good posts tend to fetch more towards the higher end still as well. I think people would probably get more for them if they didn't offer such low prices in the first place. Most seem to come straight out and ask for a price of 0.5 or whatever for a Hero but if everyone asked 0.8 from the get go they likely wouldn't get such lowball prices but people will snap them up at 0.4-0.5 and I guess most want a quick sale rather than waiting for a bigger one.

If you want to use the acc to signature campaigns, age matters a big 0.
If you want to use it to other things, it will probably matter.

I think you should take AGE also into consideration.
A hero account made in 2010 should be worth x10 more than a hero account made in 2014, at least in my point of view.

This is a valid point to some extent; given the fact that anyone can farm up accounts means and there is no forum rule about multiple accounts, the only thing that will in time become rare
is the account age. Now, while that is something that some people value, i doubt that they also are going to pay much higher for those accounts, since most of the bought accounts are purely used for campaigns,
and they dont care about your account age, just your rank.

cheers

I think that the age factor will always matter, especially with the ammount of accounts being sold now.

i don't really see age having much value, because there is unlikely to be a monetary gain from it (compared with Hero vs. Senior vs. Full Member signatures, for example). unless that changes, i don't think people will be willing to pay much more for older accounts.

I think a legendary account worth ~1.5 - 2 BTC , but I think no-one will risk this amount of bitcoin for this account.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9819047

Looking at the USD value price from the time period when that thread was created, that would translate into much more bitcoins today, however, due to obvious hype back then,
that probably shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Legendary ACC is super rare Acc because this Forum is young, but for 2 years future we not know any 1 interesting to buy it

That is true. The only thing that wont change is the fact that you have to make xyz posts to get to that and any other status, but what pricetag it will have, i have no idea.

cheers
oh no,,, iam forget it
may be rate now is 3-4Btc if some 1 sell legendary

Well judging by theymos, he was selling hacked account, so the price shouldnt be considered as a legit one.
IIRC, that person was trying to sell an entire inventory of accounts for 2 BTC and then eventually tried to sell that legendary account. I believe that he was not able to produce a signed message from that legendary account, so it is reasonable to say that was the hacked account that he was trying to sell.

I don't think his pricing was all that far off from a legit legendary account though, especially one with neutral trust and not on the DefaultTrust network

if you want to know real price, you can try open buy order in marketplace
open a WTB Legendary Thread than some people will PM you to sell

It's kinda lame to claim you want to buy something, withouth real intention to do so.

Found some threads, but doubt they are legit ones also:

You forget about member
i see some people sell Jr. Member/newbie =0.02-0.04 with potential FM
member = 0.03-0.05
Fullmember = 0.05-0.1
Sr.member = 0.1-0.3
Hero 0.4-0.6
Legendari 1-2

Where did you find info for legendary account sale made? I would love to see the link if it's not a problem.
AFAK there's little or no legendary users that would be interested in selling their accounts since it's ~2 years of life you would be selling. But with users gaining activity each 2 weeks i guess it's possible to
see a sell here and there. But still, 1-2 btc is still low imho.

cheers

im not know this is real or not

I think that has been answered close to a million times already, in this thread alone, real789. Tongue

I think users with high trust ratings shouldn't be allowed to sell their accounts - the only purpose the buyer would have (99% of the time) would be for scamming.

What if they've just lost interest in the BTC scene?

I don't think there's any way of stopping sales and the subsequent abuse of trust. Perhaps there could be some type of voluntary and ongoing pgp verification that the account is linked to the person who earned the trust.

I'm sure that would make it quite inconvenient to sell, as well own, those accounts (and raise their price considerably); but, in the end, it still wouldn't stop those accounts from being sold, unfortunately - nor would it really prevent (at least, shorter term) scams from occurring.

Perhaps there is a "technological" solution to this problem, but I think the best solution is finding a way to encourage and educate users (especially newbies) about the need for them to do their own research and taking adequate precautions when parting with their money, instead of relying on a crutch.

these things of search happens on real life all wanna a good house ,a good car,if i said to you take my keys and stay at my home for 2 years?you would reject it,i mean if were the thing you wanted for you? here the same people just search for opportunities and the accounts allows some people with knowhow to make the investment a great return,roi is just a matter of time..... if i would like to be hero today and pay 0.50bitcoins or over it would worth the investment,but i understand the point of the trusted accounts as higher ranks be used to scam others here... already happened and will keep hapening always a scamer looking for an oportunity...but some people with the time pass just loose interest on a thing and go to others interest... these happens always .
