It depends on supply & demand, i remember the price around :
Jr. Member : 0.003BTC - 0.005BTC
Member : 0.01BTC - 0.05BTC
Full Member : 0.1 - 0.25BTC
Senior Member : 0.3BTC - 0.5BTC
Hero Member : 0.7BTC - 2BTC

The results from few thread in this forum Roll Eyes

These prices seem a little off from what I gather from recent threads of people trying to sell their accounts. Seniors seem to be struggling to get 0.3 and heroes seem to be going for around 0.5. I'm sure if you've got a quality account with good posts and history you can get a little more though.

it solely depends on the person selling it. some people ask for more money and some ask less. there are some people who give accounts for rent and in return they ask for money periodically.
you can ask a pool member for accounts as he have a large circle of friends who might be interested in selling accounts at less rate.

why not just be who you are vs. trying to buy credability ??  some things cannot be bought

People don't really buy accounts for credibility. They usually buy them so they can earn more on signature campaigns.

What does lower price mean for you? I watched the last two hero member account auctions and the price usually started between 0.25 - 0.4 BTC and ended over 0.5 BTC each time. Thus, you need to invest a little bit to get one.

Looking to buy hero member at lower price.

Ask or make a thread over in digital goods, but what is your asking price? I don't think people sell Hero accounts for any small amounts. Not really worth it otherwise. Buying a Senior or lower rank and building it up may be a better idea.

no one mention newbie account price? haha
ok i add
newbie : 0.00000001 BTC

Those prices may be the case for member accounts that have already reached full potential, but even newbie account can go quite high if they have
big potential activity. An another boost in price comes when the account is created early on, like in 2011 or so.. so there's a lot of variables determining the final price.
Seeing how forum is getting saturated with ton of new accounts from account farmers, i have a strong feeling that accounts with older registration date are going to be new tulips, if and when bitcoin starts trending again.

How do you rank-up organically?

Is it by posting/replying or time since registered?

Both. You can get a max of 14 activity points every two week period you have posted in. Next period starts on tuesday and you can get another 14 points then.

well i was referring to me to be honest, not to others, to me it look useless to buy account if they are not used for earning

You said they were worthless, but whether you used them for scamming or using them for other business activities is still earning. There are likely other uses for accounts too other than those already mentioned.

yeah ok, but notice how i was only mentioning legitimate uses(only one actully which is sig campaign) of those accounts, and i pulled out "scamming" on purpose, because i not see it as a good way to use your account

but let us not lose ourselves on some semantic no-sense

Whether their use is legitimate or illegitimate or you think it is good or bad is irrelevant as it's still a use but I gave a couple of other examples of legit uses also, but there's no semantic 'no-sense' here. You're just ignoring everything that doesn't suit your opinion.

I guess it depends what kind of financial state people are in. Somebody might be in financial trouble & need cash quickly, maybe for an overdue bill or something. I personally wouldn't do it but maybe a legendary member could be desperate for 1.5 bitcoin quickly.

I guess we will never know everbodies finances or personal issues.

I guess thats not a problem but why should he sold his legendary account? It is not worth, you build that rank almost 2 years and then you sold it just for some cash? It doesnt make sense and bt its too cheap for 1.5 btc

If you created a lot of accounts a while back or farmed them with the intention of selling them it could be a viable business, but it probably wouldn't be feasible waiting for Legendary when you could just sell them as Heroes for not much less. I think Legendary accounts will become more available over time though as people rank up on their accounts but the 'prestige' of having a Legendary account isn't really worth that much in my opinion.

I personally have never seen a Legendary account for sale. I'd imagine people would pay 2 or more bitcoins for one.

why? there is no point in paying that much for a legendary when the earning rate between it and hero is the same, the cost of account should reflect his earning in the sig campaign nothing, else

they are literally worthless if it wasn't for sig campaigns

Wrong on all points. Some campaigns do offer slightly more for Legendaries, but people pay more for them merely because of the relative rareness of the rank (it takes a long time to achieve and many older members dont wish to sell their account). I know of a Legendary that went for 3btc a while ago but I doubt you'd get that for it now but people will still pay more for the. Accounts worth does not merely get its value from sig campaigns but thats what they're mostly bought for now but if sig campaigns were banned then people would still buy them for a multitude of reasons, but the biggest reason would probably be to scam and accounts would be cheaper to buy with no campaigns but people wouldn't be giving them away.

i'm actually right on all, what's the point of selling account if there weren't signature, scamming? yeah that's good, actually signature are helping indirectly the community(this is something that no one has thought about), by providing a reason to sell your account, besides scamming innocents users

also aside from few campaigns(you should point me what are those that offer a very high payout for being legendary...), the rest(the profitable one, i don't care about the others) do not provide advantages for legendary members

You can't claim to be 'right on all' then contradict yourself in the very same sentence. Yes, people would buy accounts to scam. That would probably become their primary purpose if signature campaigns wern't here. People would also buy them just to get a head start for their business or whatever they're selling (people will trust or have more faith in a Hero account than a Newb for example). People also buy them to get around annoying posting restrictions, so that's three points on how you're wrong. You said accounts would be literally worthless, but you are literally wrong.

well i was referring to me to be honest, not to others, to me it look useless to buy account if they are not used for earning
