I think it is possible because only miners have the power to manpower bitcoins all transactions. Not like other coins that has actually have the power to recreate their coin anytime. But even that bitcoin is also flexible but it cannot replace the fact that they have developers to have for.
The website issues, slow mining( it is known longer), high feew(very painfull as people say currently) etc. are main things which are saying that it is not really the best currency to use as a medium of payments. Solaris, ripple, nem, eth have also very good reviews. And as you think bitcoin can be use as a value storage in near future, and maybe BitcoinCash will be the number one? We will see.
Of course, the technology is always growing and if the bitcoin continues without consensus (miners x users) the network will not grown and will open space for other faster technologies like the UNIVERSA's project, which will have a better capacity to process payments than bitcoin, but thats only a example of the fast development of the blockchain technology.
I don't really think that any other crypto could reach the level of success and number of users such as bitcoin has or that any crypto can have a similar market cap , people are getting into bitcoin more and more each day and social media are becoming more talkative about it these days , which is unusual because they were insecure about talking of something that can turn out to a complete failure , yet bitcoin isn't gonna fail any time soon and i don't see any other crypto that could go toe to toe with him any soon , and if one of them will , it'll certainly be Eth .

There are a lot of coins on the market now and there would be more coming. Yes, it could possibly be happening in the future because nothing is permanent in this world. Bitcoin is the pioneering, trusted and proven digital money that caught the heart of the people and it has the biggest community by now but we have to consider when the time comes where one specific coin could replace it and we all know that it's not that easy. We can't really tell when will be that happening because it is un predictable. Cryptocurrency is a community driven asset so it is up to them but for now Bitcoin is unstoppable it gives us hope and financial freedom that is why I love Bitcoin. Right now, Bitcoin Cash is posing serious challenge to Bitcoin. The market cap of BCH has increased from around $4 billion (two weeks ago) to more than $21 billion right now. And it is on its way to dislodge ETH from the no.2 position.
such q great info mate,i never heard of that but if its true i think the crypto community will gladly accept that.having bitcoin dominanting market for such a long.and ethereum being at second spot.now the competition will outgrow because bch is coming fast

I think bitcoin cannot be replaced by another crypto currency because bitcoin as of now has a very high value and it is really good to hear especially to those people who earns bitcoin and i hope it wont drop its value so that it can continue to help alot of people who earn bitcoin to earn big and get rich.

Bitcoin can not be replaced by another cryptocurrency because Bitcoin is the best form of sound money that will ever be. Sound money can't be changed or tampered with and Bitcoin is just that and these other's are not like that.
You can't be so sure about that. We can't really tell what the future holds. In the world of cryptocurrencies, anything can change and it can change rapidly. A cryptocurrency replacing bitcoin in the future still has the possibility to happen. Maybe it can happen in the future or maybe not.

I don't think that ever bitcoin will be replace by any another cryptocurrency Because bitcoin is the first coin that entered in the field and I don't think that any coin even may be better than bitcoin will make better impact that what the bitcoin have in the cryptocurrency field .Here we have full trust with the bitcoin , And also we can understand well that the bitcoin entered in the internet world in 2008 , so how much time it take for the people to trust in the bitcoin more than what people have trust in another coin .So here due to old age of the bitcoin people can't accept another coin at the place of the bitcoin .

In my opinion, no other crypto currency can replaced or overcome the value and power of bitcoin, as we can see only ether is the next to the bitcoin but a very big difference in its curreny. It maybe ether has a potential but as long as bitcoin is alive and standing, it can never replace the bitcoin.

Yes your right, bitcoin is a fast growing and very competitive but still there is possibilities to be replace by other coin. However, is just only a little chances to happen as we already know that bitcoin is having strong foundation since from existence. It totally depends on the community supporting crypto especially bitcoin, to change the trends of bitcoin and giving chances other coins to be on top.There are faster en better ways to send money now but btc still is number 1.

When we say replaced it means to change in position, and I think replacing bitcoin by another currency would not happen because there are many coins aside from bitcoin,like TBC,LTC,ETH and many more coin those coin is like bitcoin they have the same process with each other, there only difference is there value, talking about replacing bitcoin by another currency would just like a silly question, because many coin are establish after bitcoin and if is this true other coin before bitcoin will never been existing, and lastly maybe bitcoin will never exist in the last 8 years and it will never continue to have progress.
