I think that you should look at the list of the most popular altcoins in order to choose the best one for yourself. there are even sections where the rating of the most important altcoins with the prices and the ratio relative to each other is shown Wink

Ripple and neo are really hot and have a quite good future.... Buy and hold it for a very long time and you won't regret invest on it
They are both okay coins. I need to just invest in something that will make money, NEO is a possible choice.

I think that you could invest in ICOs rather than existing alts. There are many tokens out there with a promising future but the altcoins are already wasted mostly in terms of returns.

Two good altcoins?

I would recommend:

1. Ethereum - proven applications like Dapps, undervalued.

2. XLM - Good technology, back by IBM

both the Coins are based on Smart Contracts which Would be adopted in Future by many large Companies and financial Institutions, Its Good to invest in any Crypto for a long term view Many investor now like IOTA to hold because they know that it has a big Potential Coin. aside from that Ethereum are continue improving and giving the best of it. the other altcoin that I would recommend is ADB they have a good platform and a striving Team.

Recommendation in such a delicate business rarely works as what works for one person might not work for another. its therefore advisable to do your own research and make decisions according to your own market analysis. make sure you check the coin performance, its usability, demand and its development teams. having said that, i think XMR and NEO are work having a look at

Digibyte and Golem because they are yet to be pumped.
Its not always about pump and dump in crypto currencies. Its also about the technology that lies beneath the coin which gives the coin its real worth. I wont just buy golem GNT cause it is yet to be pumped, but I would buy it cause it has great technology and it is based on solving real world problems and helping them connect to a digital asset. GNT focuses on using power of someone’s else computer and paying them in return. If I am not using my computer currently, I can lend its computing power to someone else for some time and get paid in return. Now that’s innovative and something worth to invest in.

Those are just some fake coins on which whales are performing some fake pumps. That coin has no real world application. I would recommend you too to invest in the coins that rank in top 30 in coin market cap and not in some coin that just pumps randomly for people to make some money and later it dumps so hard that people who get stuck into it have nothing left except regret. Research and analysis is two most important things that must be done before investing in any coin.

eth and litecoin are altcoins that are traded by many people so I think both coins are good for us and the price is also relatively stable

In my own opinion, the altcoins I can recommend for one to hold are bitcoin and etherum as they are the two biggest coins and they have good fundamentals and they can make significant amount for anyone that holds it for the long term.

This is my opinion.

I can recommended many good altcoins.

As I said in a previous thread. The safest bet for any new person to the crypto space is to either grab yourselves some ether or litecoin.

Also waves and verge are worth getting into.

Other then those 4 big coins, I recommended looking into POS coins.

I am considering buy two altcoins, can anyone give some recommendation? I have about $1000 to invest in altcoin.

I would recommend Ethereum and Litecoin, it has been two of my go-to altcoins, but them two are more suitable as long term investments, which are not qualified in your question. If you seek a faster return or a short term investment, I think that Ripple or Stellar would be some of your better options. However, since there are so many coin across the market, I would suggest that you choose those that have a big market cap and circulating value.
