OK.. news about the helicopter incident is widely being circulated in the social media, and I thought that it was true. Sorry for that. Let's hope that this edition of the Champions Trophy is a major success, unlike the scandal we had with the 2024 T20I World Cup. Neither the fans, nor the media rights holders were happy with the way the T20I World Cup was conducted. There were allegations of corruption and incompetence. I am sure that the PCB will do a much better job when compared to the USACA.

I am really laughing after reading these comments as after end of one propaganda now having issues which never happen or can happen in BCCI as well, but mostly mind-set is fixed for Pakistan keeping fingering and enjoy your 80% share of ICC revenue.
Hopefully after 2031 ICC increase your share so you will have better material for going with your propaganda machines because T20i World Cup first time played in the USA which is already one of the most corrupt sports organizations so PCB having nothing with them but BCCI maybe can have something.

It's true that India were always a dominating side in ODI format tournament against Pakistan and looking to statics Pakistan just able to won four matches and lose nine matches with a single draw results since 2013. Well let me clear nothing is consistent and permanent in game of cricket but it depends on current performance and situation. Back in 2020 no one except Pakistan will ever beat India in world cup and they will be consistently dominating them but at the end Pakistan shocked them in 2021 and become first team to beat India in world cup with 10 wickets in hand.

So I believe just like PCB explain may be saim and fakhar open for Pakistan and then baber will next and so on can give a really good shape to his team and can have ability to surprise any team, to be honest from now I am looking Pakistan at semifinals Atleast.

Indian government is always against the Pakistan and they don't want to see Pak in progress . I think India will not qualify for the final and final will be against two teams, Australia and England. Indian team will be out in the semi final or before. But my six sense in saying that final match will be in the Pakistan and Pakistan will earn a lot of money and Pak economy will be better after this tournament because ICC will give dollars for the arrangement of this tournament.

India is good team but recently they won last World Cup of T20 and we didn't see the two back to back trophies which are lifted by the same team and Indian team will try to give all effort to win this tournament but very less chances that they will qualify for the final.

The politics that is going on between the two countries with cricket may not end, but I think the ICC has accepted a good arrangement. If India can make them worthy of the end, then their game will be played in another venue, otherwise it is more likely to be in Pakistan. In my view, if Pakistan gets more revenue than cricket, then the development of cricket, especially for that country, will also affect world cricket indirectly. Who loves to cricket, should increase cricket for those countries. More benefits should be given to them. Since there is no big cricket in Pakistan for a long time, there is no such thing as cricket in that country, especially cricket fans. I think if this big trunction is in their venue, the world will rise again in cricket.

The only concern for me that Indian batting performance recently. The top guns aren't performing well but then the Dubai pitches are more batting friendly and they will suit them a great extent.

India has always objected to play the Champions Toffee, India has objected to playing in Pakistan as the host. Pakistan team comes to India for any event and participates in the game, but the fact that the Indian team does not agree to play in Pakistan in any way means that the ICC is giving a little extra advantage to India. While the cricket players of every country in the world are interested to play in Pakistan, the Indian players do not want to play at all, maybe because of the bad political situation of their two countries, maybe this decision of the Indian cricketers. Let's see how well India can perform in the Champions Trophy which has been criticized so much and whether they can make it to the finals to see that.

As far as the security is concerned, I don't think that would be a too serious issue otherwise ICC wouldn't have allowed the tournament to be played in Pakistan in the first place. Even the countries would have shown resistance, nothing of that sort happened. Also, recently many international teams visited Pakistan and no mishap happened. Also in Pakistan the International players and the teams are given special security and I heard it is of the same level that is given to the president of Pakistan and other higher officials. I am sure this tournament will be played in a secure environment and will be a success.

The good thing is that all the matches will be played as D/N, irrespective of the location. National Stadium in Karachi, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be hosting the matches, while Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host the matches that are played in hybrid mode. I don't see anything wrong with the schedule, and the day-night matches will increase the viewership and revenue potential within the South Asian region. BTW, India is scheduled to host the next (2029) edition of the Champions Trophy.

One thing that stands out is that Pakistan will play their first game against New Zealand in Karachi but surprisingly none of Pakistan games will be played in Lahore which has second biggest stadium in country. Even though Pakistan can not play there Lahore will still host some important matches including semi final. Big match between Pakistan and India will take place on February 23rd at Dubai Cricket Stadium. The place where final will be played has not been decided yet if India makes it to final it will be in Dubai but if not it will be in Lahore.

Star India submitted a report recently to the ICC, which estimated the loss to media rights revenue in case either India or Pakistan pulls out of the Champions Trophy. According to Star, in case India pulls out, then close to 90% of the revenue would be lost. Similar figure for a potential Pakistani pullout is less than 10%.
