One of the problems that is holding back people to use btc as any other currency is the highly volatile nature... if you purchase a HD TV using 10BTC today it will be around 4,500$ on this day but after couple of years it might value over 20k$ ..!

yes and this is why people need to stop thinking of it as an investment and using it for what its really for a currency. then price will go up but it could also stabalize the currency also. witch would be good as well

If it stabilizes to a decent rate then it many out there will start using it as a currency more than a holding asset..! but it looks very far from stabilizing at this point of time.!

Price is never a factor for a trader who understands the intrinsic value of it, say it company share, say it bitcoin.
