Its actually based on Time+Points+Mapchanges
I did test it, I made around 429 points, gametracker showed 189, I keep the game open in the background and made sometimes some jumps/shoots so i could not get kicked for staying afk. and yeah, i got points for doing nothing.

Basicly Gametracker or the Server cant keep up

Well, Its pretty unfair since i don't want to stay hours to get all of my points, you don't have the problem since you do much less points than me.

That might be the reason, yes.

Just one question that lurks around my mind, would you guys rather see 1 or 2 mapS in a map cycle per week or should we leave it as it is?

I believe players would become more experience at certain map, but could easily happen game (gamplay) becomes boring.

It's probably because system shutdown/resets on a daily basis for regular updates.

You did not do nothing wrong, you just happened to be at the wrong time on server when it does its regular maintenance.

thats really frustrating, nearly 50% points i make ingame are gone!

Scoring system provided by gametracker is currently the only (mainly used) centralized scoring system where everyone can check points of each player.

It's interesting you have such huge gap between your score and score that is recorded by gametracker, but as said gametracker is a base for scoring system for now.
