We're working on getting CKGame listed on Bittrex. There are quite a few requirements that need to be addressed, so the CryptoKingdom community is asked to help. The main two that need addressed at the moment are as follows:

1. "Description of your coin -  Why does it exist and what makes it unique?  What new technology or business concept are you bringing to the blockchain? If your ANN thread only has coin specs on it, you are not going to get listed on Bittrex.?"

--Please bear in mind that Bittrex won't list anything that is a share of a company or promises returns, which a counterparty asset of S-HODL does not fall under as there is no promise of returns and CK shares remain in game and are not directly owned by anyone holding S-HODL or CKGame--it's merely a tokenization of the fund that holds them.

2. "A logo for your coin - png format with a transparent background.  The logo should be square with dimensions of 1000x1000 pixels with no white space on its border and no taglines.  It should only be a logo and expect it to show up in multiple spots in the Bittrex UI." If you are looking for examples of coin logos, here is a good place to start: http://coinmarketcap.com/ Note that it is just the image to the right of the coin's name that is considered the logo--typically less than 3 colors and only 2 or less letters, if any.

I'll likely be spending the next few days revising #1 and posting it for the communities input, but feel free to add any thoughts or list your own description. #2 is open to anyone and will likely need community consensus, or at the very least Luigi's approval--as he's CKGame's manager.

What's beautiful about this game is that anyone can build an in-game company, create an asset for an exchange, or create a site that interacts with its market changelog and only has to worry about what few video-gaming regulations exist. If you can dream it and create it, it's doable. So being "somebody" should never be a perquisite for trying to get something done in CK--going out on a limb and bringing your concept to life is enough--the platform is new enough and open enough for a great many more legacies to be established, so instead of seeing a limitation, you should be recognizing an opportunity.

(gets off soapbox)

To put it less formally, I hope current and future players recognize that this platform is what we make of it. I think it should be bigger than any one coin, but that is simply me applying the idea of virtual currencies and broadening it to all the things.

I agree the game platform has huge potential, and i would seriously consider attempting to start a NXT based asset trading gateway for something like CK gold if there was interest. I'll think it over,

3. We have an exchange asset thanks to Luigi's earlier work and atm are looking for an exchange to list it on--the latter is where someone could shine as far as showing organizational skills and/or marketing skills and make a name for themselves within the ranks of CryptoKingdom.

You could create an asset on the NXT asset exchange and use that to trade the CK token. Many projects have used the NXT asset exchange to trade, you just need a trusted entity to act as the gateway. You could also use a NXT monetary system token, and trade using the MS exchange booth. If you use the SuperNET lite wallet you can use the NXT asset exchange without needing to download the whole NXT blockchain. For a NXT MS token you can use web wallet mynxt.info, afaik. Either way, NXT is a good platform to allow (almost) decentralised exchange capabilities, and your investors trust one of your own, not an exchange. Better than nothing.

We have a counterparty asset. What we need is a legitimate exchange with some volume. I'm not criticizing nxt, I just want something other than to create another asset and exchange it on the platform that created it.

Getting listed directly on an exchange would require them and you to create new code, is that correct... which makes the task seem very large. If you used NXT asset a non-coder from your community can do everything, and adding another NXT asset for the exchanges is a simple job these days, so the overhead is very small, and all could be done and organised by a regular community member.

If you want to create a ck ingame asset and list it on nxt, have at it. It's not hard to create an ingame asset, and you obviously know the nxt process well enough to get it done Wink

I'll consider it, creating the NXT asset is easy, the hard part would be getting an exchange like poloniex or bittrex to list it (I'm a nobody), and getting CK users to bother trading my asset anywhere (on NXT asset exchange or other exchange) as again, I'm a nobody. BUT, for a non-coder it is technically very easy to do, and for a 'somebody' getting CK users to support the asset, and an exchange like polo to list it is also much more likely.

If I was a 'somebody' in crypto kingdom I would consider it ...

The Quartermillennial Jubilee of Crypto Kingdom

- -

The GM has granted the King, the permission to be crowned in the Hall of Mirrors in the Royal Palace of Versailles, 9-C (or a place of his choice) earliest 1654, and the King has announced the event to be happen the next year, 1655.

- -

Is this information up to date still, are we going to parteeeeeh this weekend? Smiley

TBH, there's three things I'd like to see happen before we party.

1. Archduke Quest finished (I want to have the celebration take place with gambling and chat and a few hands of high stakes poker).

2. A BTC-->M gateway similar xmr.to added to increase Monero adoption and # of CK players (NewLiberity has agreed to look into this, but no updates as to implementation atm).

3. Be on the way to adding a CK asset to a cryptocurrency exchange.

#3 begs the question: what asset is best suited (from an efficiency and equality standpoint) to best represent our Kingdom as an asset on an exchange?

When those three things are accomplished (or at least a certainty as far implementation), we can party like we just don't care Smiley

UPDATE

1. Syksy is tweaking his design and hard at work making sure it is bug free and ready to go.

2. Saddam is working on adding shapeshift's shifty button to deposits, so we'll be able to accept many more cryptocurrencies and add to CK's and XMR's base of users.

3. We have an exchange asset thanks to Luigi's earlier work and atm are looking for an exchange to list it on--the latter is where someone could shine as far as showing organizational skills and/or marketing skills and make a name for themselves within the ranks of CryptoKingdom.

Any players associated or friendly with an exchange? We have an tradable asset, so the next rational step would be to get it listed somewhere.  Given the market cap is >1 million and this would allow those who aren't into mmorpgs or have the time to invest to learn a game as complex as CK the broadest coverage of CryptoKingdom's land, collectibles, consumables and in-game assets, it seems like a no-brainer.

As far as gameplay meeting life in this instance, the man or woman or order who does this, would be a Hero in the realm and deserve an honor befitting the result, so my imagination is piqued and would like the challenge of making the reward meet, or even outdo, the blessing this accomplishment would bring to all those who fly the CK banner.

Currently 1 s-hodl is 1.28 ck and the s-hodl fund also has holdings in mka and m

The MKA is being phased out of the holdings and normally the M will be insignificant. So once MKA is phased out the ratio will just be the number of CK held by HODL divided by the number of S-HODL outstanding (total in existence minus treasury shares held by HOLD).

For now exchanges will need to proportionately match the holdings (small amount of MKA or cash equivalent needed).

If someone wants to do a bulk buy of MKA and accelerate the process, then PM me and/or put up a bid at the market.

Introducing ckgame

This account is run by His Eminence, Luigi, The Marquess of Rome. Giving s-hodl or ck to this account will grant you shares of ckgame that can be traded on cryptocurrency exchanges. NOTE: s-hodl is preferred as it doesn't create rounding issues.

Example command: give s-hodl 1000 ckgame

Currently 1 s-hodl is 1.28 ck and the s-hodl fund also has holdings in mka and m. If you wish to convert ck directly to s-hodl, please contact His Eminence, Smooth, The Marquess of Cryptoluna for more information.

Blockscan ckgame: https://blockscan.com/assetInfo/CKGAME

If you are interested in adding ckgame to an exchange and need additional information, you may contact Luigi on BCT, IRC or email him at [email protected].

Vote: To make s-hodl the first asset to be listed on public exchanges--s-hodl would be converted to counterparty asset ck-game to be listed on non-agora markets.

Debate: Up until now has been whether to use s-hodl (simple reinvestment asset that takes ck dividends and buys additional ck, therefore accruing more ck value over time) and ck (which would add dividends to the fund that would not be reinvested into ck).

Opinion: I prefer s-hodl as it puts buy pressure on ck with reinvestment and also retains dividend yield for those who invest on exchanges (liquidity providers).

The Jovial Jester opens its (alpha) doors!
- -

First hotfix applied;
- No longer dealt a hand of 3/4 at the beginning; a last minute change had changed the spot where I shuffled the table and dealed the starting hand to wrong order.
- The message "You signed in with another tab or window. Reload to refresh your session. You signed out in another tab or window. Reload to refresh your session." comes with the chat and I'm yet to figure out why. From what I've been able to find out it's nothing to worry about.

A note about the login, it currently has quite a cryptic login message:
- The CK API specific codes for 200 (or 202 if I recall right) is the code for "success" in sending a POST to the CK API and Error status FALSE means that no errors were reported by API (debugging  Roll Eyes).

Currently a successful login looks like
Quote
Login status code: 200
(Error status FALSE )

while a failed login looks like (but successful interaction with CK API)
Quote
Login status code: 200
(Error status Invalid Credentials )
or possibly with a different Login status code, depending on the error.

Sorry about the cryptic login message, I'll clean it up asap Smiley

A Lingering Ghost
The Jovial Jester opens its (alpha) doors!

The second gaming platform in CK in addition to the famous Palazzo, a competitor by the name of the Jovial Jester, opens its doors with Monereto-compatible Black Jack.

However, I have capped bets on 10, 100 or 1000 until I'm certain everything works as intended.
The current platform supports:
  • Live chat (remains to be further tested, at least broadcast works differently / in multiples when deployed on server than on my local testing)
  • Black Jack with or without Crypto Kingdom Monereto
  • Guest account; if you do not login with your CK account in the Lobby, you'll be playing Black Jack with artificial currency but the only difference is that no calls are done to transact money throgh CK API
  • CK compatible M bets; if you login with your CK account, transfers are used to move M for bets and/or winnings from and to the Casino (username Jester, id 160). Notice the cap on bets is due to the alpha nature of the platform, once everything seems to work as intended this can be increased/removed.
There's a long to-do list, but please report any bugs to me directly here, via private message, IRC or to this thread. Naturally, if you're logged into CK you should pay attention that everything is rewarded correctly etc.
Design issues such as UI are secondary at the moment, but naturally it will be more user-friendly.
Notice that Black Jacks differ. This one implements a set of rules but can be still fine tuned. For your convenience, read the following Wiki if you're not yet familiar with Black Jack:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackjack

Highest priority is to get Video Poker up, and naturally fix bugs or tune UI/gameplay in order of importance. For example, the image loading/plotting is a lot clunkier on a deployed server than on my local testing, so I'm thinking of alternatives.

And here's the teaser roll Smiley

Popping in to say hello, sorry I haven't signed into the chat for a while. Takes a little time to recover from the shock of realizing that the couple of xmr I've sent to the deposit address in game could have gone a bit further if I had sent it later rather than sooner, but such is the nature of diversifying.

If anything it looks like some game markets could use a little more support. Thanks to all who have paid dividends through their shares throughout this new year Smiley

You can convert ck into and out of the item--the fund manager, smooth, will have to explain the details, but that means every ck holder can convert their ck into the exchange item.

There isn't much to explain.

In the original rules anyone could convert the appropriate ratio of CKG+CON into S-HODL or vice versa, with a nominal admin fee that I think was about 10 XMR back when XMR was 0.50 USD or so (people with smaller amounts can just trade and avoid the fee). This makes it interchangable with the dividend-paying assets except for the actual dividends.

This was of course manual like most other things in the game (originally, everything), but if this is made into an official asset (share class) then someday the game engine could implement a CONVERT command that would do it for you, and the game engine could even reinvest the dividends automatically too. Things are simpler now since CON no longer exists and the conversion ratio is just a number (the number increases slightly every time dividends are reinvested).

Of course short term the admin stuff can continue to be done manually as the volume is low and there isn't all that much going on in the game.

At that point the non-dividend shares could easily be represented with some sort of blockchain token and would need a depository the way XMR has now, whereas the dividend shares would continue to be only in-game.
