First week on the estate was fairly dull. I spent my last monerito (and slice of pig meat) to get that charge, so I couldn't do anything "tangible" for a few days. I spent the time getting to know the place, the people, and preparing for possible problems with Aaspere, which lies a bit close for comfort.

The first harvest was on thursday, and it sold whole at close to 2000, so that was more than 6mil. I placed an order for two PTE guards. I doubt these will do anything before next week. Now I'm waiting for the next batch.

Second and third harvests sold together at close to 1600, yielding about 8.3mil.

Meat arrived at the year end, and I decided to list it at a high price, waiting for other sellers to be out of produce. Let's hope there's still demand after the glut is gone.

The first guards were hired on the start of the second week. The meat from the end of the first week hadn't yet sold, so hiring was put on freeze after that till the hungry mob reached our sell orders on thursday, and left us with 15.5mil for the meat. This money was immediately put as bids on the PTE market.

Six more guards were hired on friday with the meat profits. My original calculation based on two weeks' income now shows to not have accounted for the delay between meat production and sale, so this week's meat will not come early enough to go towards more guards. However, since it appears manors do not need officers, this is not a problem.

Last VEG sold for the second week yielded about 17mil, with which more bids were put for PTE guards. Remaining VEG and the december meat have not sold yet by end of year. Remaining bids for 4 PTE were sold to.

At the end of the second weeks, Pada Manor has 13 PTE guards, with bids for another four left on the market. I think that means no BV, since there is no officer, but if they're not needed for manors, it's not clear how that changes the calculation. None of the peasants who were training with their scythes and other tools decided to join so far, which is disappointing. It is unclear how many guards are needed. After all, if we're invaded by an actual army, we wouldn't be able to do much anyway, so this is just for protection against robbers and the like, for which this amount of armed guards may be sufficient.

New character is created by "Register" link in the Game login site.

The old character password works for 30 days still and you can GIVE item_id amount recipient_id to the new character.

Soon there will be a powerful command GIVE ALLXXX recipient_id accomplishing the obvious. This is already in admin testing so you can ask them to transfer your stuff if the estate is so large that giving each one separately is tedious.

In search of Dragons

My men and I have been at it for months in the southern portion of White Cross's fire borough. It seems our area is void of Dragons--though we hear strange murmurings in the night and it always feels like someone (or some thing) is watching us. My one man says the land is cursed, while the other says it is blessed; as yet I am undecided. Unless the Dragon is on the move, it seems our searching is at an end. I decide to break camp and make way for the rendezvous point in the center of White Cross--hopefully the others will have had better luck.

Royal Mint reorganizes the stock of gold bars in the Kingdom

In the advent of new CKG trading vehicles such as the ETF, the Royal Mint has been experimenting what to do with the physical gold. The illiquidity of some historical items has been saddening, because they contain the same amount of gold as other items, but the owners are at a disadvantage.

Therefore, the new "large gold" standards are as follows:

B100 <-- the existing HM02B100 bars are merged into this one 1:1, and Coinshop continues marketmaking
B250
B500
B1000 <-- the existing HM02B1000 bars are merged into this one 1:1
B10000 <-- the existing HM02B10000 bars are merged into this one 1:1

All CR-series 5 CKG, and also 2 CKG and 1 CKG coins, respectively, will be having a uniform "any" bidding market, which places a bid for any coin in the series. This boosts liquidity in both sides. This development is still in the future, though.

Smelter functions

The Royal Smelter (subsidiary of the Royal Mint) is char_id 255. It fulfills two functions:
- Destroys gold items that are not wanted to be resold in the aftermarket (eg. Coinshop lists items it acquires);
- Converts illiquid and unwanted items to marketable forms.

Do as follows:

1. Send all your unwanted gold to smelter by GIVE item_id amount SMELTER [new_item]. Do not have a longer than 10 minute break between items that belong to the same smelting batch, the best is to send them quickly after one another.

2. The new_item parameter in square brackets is important, it determines what you will get. Options are:
"1000" as many B1000 bars as possible, rest B100, the change in 1-5 CKG coins
"500" as many B500 bars as possible, rest B100, the change in 1-5 CKG coins
"250" as many B250 bars as possible, rest B100, the change in 1-5 CKG coins
"100" as many B100 bars as possible, the change in 1-5 CKG coins
"5" as many most current CRxxxxE coins as possible (no bars), the rest CR-B/CR-A coins according to Smelter choice (aftermarket coins probably)

3. Smelter operates purely on CKG and no money is involved in client end. Its costs are (especially during the inauguration special) very low:
* Batch handling fee 1.99 CKG (flat fee)
* Minting fee based on the main product chosen (fee will be calculated based on the actual largest weight product, so merely selecting "1000" and then sending 49 CKG does not qualify for the lowest fee - on the other hand the whole batch has the same fee even if it has smaller weight products as well):
- "1000" => 0.49%
- "500" => 0.59%
- "250" => 0.69%
- "100" => 0.89%
- "5" => 1.79%
* Sub-1 CKG amounts will be kept by Smelter
* Gold reshaping fee payable to Town (0.1%) is Smelter's responsibility

4. Smelter calculates the products automatically. Taking an example of a single (HM02)B1000 bar smelting to "100", the cost structure is:
1.99 CKG flat fee
8.90 CKG percentage fee (0.89%*1000)

10.89 CKG total fee, rounds up to 11 CKG
---------------------------------------------
1000 - 11 = 989 CKG to be returned:

5. Products are sent to the original giver at a median delay of 36 hours, and no expedite request is possible. When gold dividends are about to be paid, however, all the smelter batches are handled first so your chance to have your gold in limbo at that time is low.

It is naturally open and free to use for anybody; also open for criticism and improvement suggestions. I used some open license photos as inspiration and traced and modified them for the logo (made sure they had a license open for both free and commercial sure), and built a logo of my liking in Inkscape. Inkscape's a free open-source vector graphics program that I highly suggest for anybody (https://inkscape.org/).

The obvious focus is on the crown; the source of inspiration is actually originally a Romanian crown made of steel from the 1800s, but I really liked it and added a touch of my own; the original crown looked like (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_Crown_of_Romania):




The dove symbolizes peace and development. The laurel symbolizes ceasarean nobility and prosperity. The banner has a purple noble glow to the ornamental capital letters as per Crypto Kingdom's color customs.

The crown itself has a hat part made of finest purple silk in existence, naturally. The main metallic frame is decorated with gold, imbued with other noble metals to give also a more reddish glow. The upper part is decorated with a large amount of finest pearls, that flicker beautifully if light hits them. The top has a golden globe with a cross on the top.

After colors, it's time to make it more lively with gradients and filters. This part is where my computer started really clogging up with multiple simultaneous filters on the crown...

I would argue that since I only did a double-click on the unfollow/follow button which happens within an epsilon time window (epsilon being an arbitrarily small number, as I am known for quick clicking), this would count as both being follower all along and/or being a new follower, depending on the precision of time we use here. Introducing the CKG ETF

The CKG ETF is a new product of SIMC, which is also the manager of the Smooth Investment Fund (S-SIF).

The purpose of the CKG ETF is to provide liquidity for the less-traded CKG items as well as serve as a "swap meet" for unwanted (and perhaps difficult to sell) CKG items. It also provides sub-1 CKG liquidity (each S-CKG share corresponds to 0.01 CKG) for micro trades.

The way it works is:

• You may GIVE any CKG item to character CKGE, in exchange you will receive 100 S-CKG for every CKG
• You may GIVE S-CKG to character CKGE, in exchange you will receive any desired CKG item(s) from CKGE's inventory (100 S-CKG required per CKG). Include the desired item(s) in the comment
• There is an admin fee of 1% for every redeem transaction, minimum 100 S-CKG (1 CKG), maximum 1000 S-CKG (10 CKG). This amount is ADDED to the S-CKG you must send when redeeming CKG items, rounded down to the nearest S-CKG
• All CKG dividends will be passed through as S-CKG dividends, less a management fee of 0.1% (example: dividend 1000 received; 999 passed through)
• S-CKG holders retain CKG voting rights. In the event of a CKG vote, the ETF will vote its CKG holdings in proportion to vote instructions submitted to the ETF by S-CKG holders.
• CKG items placed into the ETF will be be kept there until and unless redeemed. Upon dissolution of the ETF for any reason the items will be distributed to the S-CKG holders in some equitable manner, which may include dividending the items, raffling items, and/or selling the items and distributing the proceeds.
  

Examples:

• If you GIVE a 1000 CKG bar to CKGE, you will receive 100000 S-CKG.

Palazzo Gaming Corp. is offering its games currently in here. It seeks to be the first and most functional actual Casino in the Kingdom by the following plan:

- Having big enough bankroll (5,000 mil) and actively expanding it.
- Rigorous statistical maxbet/maxwin management
- Rental agreement with Casino Cryptonite (kronicblazer, M of Grass) provides landing page visibility.

5,000 shares - Provision of Bankroll

The company seeks to raise 5,000 mil worth of bankroll, but since it is difficult to value the company in terms of money (more money makes it more valuable because it will attract higher rollers), and the founders want to have a fixed percentage share, and the bankroll should actually be denominated in CKG instead of XMR (for fun, and to allow easier ingame liquidity of high amounts - there is 10+ times more CKG value in the game than XMR value) the following novel approach is taken:

- Use command GIVE item_id amount PGC for items containing CKG
- The IPO period ends at the end of 1624
- There is a time bonus of 0.5% per day (realhour), making ~32% maximum bonus possible for those who act early!
- When the period has ended, each give is evaluated for their (CKG content * time bonus)
- 5,000 shares is prorated to the givers (givers' individual gives summed first)
- You can see the situation of the IPO (how much gold has been accumulated) here.
- Be mindful that regardless how large or small the sumtotal is, the Investor quota is still exactly 5,000 shares, they are just worth more if more was invested!


First actions of the new company

- Convert the King's existing plan of minting CT1625 Jubilee copper tokens convertible to gold at a fixed rate, so that they are the Casino Tokens instead!
- 40,000*CT1625 will be minted in the Royal Mint (for the part over 7,000, cost of copper only), and 100 casino tokens will be promised to be exchangeable for 1*CR1625E (5 CKG gold coin). This will make one casino token to be 1/20 of 1 CKG, and valued at ~40,000 m. It will be the basic unit of bet in most games, valued at $0.02. Hobby playing may be offered for even lower bets denominated in moneretos. High roller tables will be directly denominated in gold, for example CR1625E that is 100x the basic bet.
   * King buys 5,000 casino tokens at 50*CR1625E to be used in Jubilee giveaways and other schemes
   * 10,000 casino tokens are given to shareholders as dividend, 1/share
   * 10,000 casino tokens are for sale at market price
   * 15,000 casino tokens are left to be distributed as eventual winnings, and big wins may be paid as CR1625E as well.

- King mints all the gold in the destroyed Roof of Royal Palace to CR1625E's (1,340 coins), to provide a large enough stash of this type of coin (that is also historical due to its gold being early Most Ancient from 1402-1444)
- All the Palazzo corp IPO gold is swapped for the CR1625E gold, CKG for CKG at no markup (unless there is more gold than CR1625E exist).

- Games will be hosted reliably and security check done
- Provably fair gaming is in development and will come "soon"
- In dice-type games, we aim to beat IRL casinos with our 2-3% house edge
- In Three Kings, you can win 100x and many other things, house edge is 4.8%
- Sir Noms initial m balance will be withdrawn, only the CKG raised will count towards the capital of the company.


"Poison Pill" IPO clause, to give confidence to investors and keep founders at bay

In this kind of setting where a money-intensive business is organized with all the money being supported by the group owning only 50%, it means that the P/B = 2 (share price is twice the "money in the bank"). This may hinder some from investing because half of their money may vaporize into air if the management and plans prove ineffective (selling shares at higher than the book value may prove impossible).

Therefore, for the first 15 years, the company is bound to redeem the shares in the Investor quota at the owner's discretion, and do it at the following markup to the (current) book value:
In 1625 = 75%
In 1626 = 70%
In 1627 = 65%
...
In 1639 = 5%

Shares in the Founder's quota during this time (of course) do not get this privilege. Starting in 1640, all shares are fungible. The Poison Pill clause protects the investors by giving them a way to force the company to cashout at only a modest loss to the investor, if the company is doing badly and the aftermarket does not develop. Somewhat similar to the MEW "HELL NO".
